Xbox 360: Madden 2010: Franchise Sign-Up

[This Space for Rent]
This could easily be transferred to the games section, but overall its spam so I'm putting it in the bar room to begin with.

Madden 10 just came out today. Anyone with the ability to play online, who has this game for the Xbox 360..

I'd like to start an Online Franchise. With that being said, we can literally have up to 32 individuals join. I doubt we get over 10, personally, but who knows.

All in all.. does anyone care to sign up? If so, put your gamertag and the team you'd like to be here.

My gamertag is TheOneBigWill

and, naturally, my team is the Carolina Panthers.

Team's Taken:

1. Carolina Panthers (TheOneBigWill)
2. Minnesota Vikings (Ty Burna)
3. Jacksonville Jaguars (The Love Song Writer)
4. Dallas Cowboys (Simpsons_fanatic742)
5. Washington Redskins (Minor League Brian)
6. New Orleans Saints (Marquis) - currently inactive
7. Atlanta Falcons (Mr. Baller)
8. New England Patriots (Moon Knight)
9. New York Jets (Stormtrooper85)
10. Indianapolis Colts (INDYjon22)
11. San Diego Chargers (Scotty)

TENETIVE LEAGUE START DATE: August 21st, 2009

each of us willing to play.. needs to set-up the Online Franchise ability. Here are the Steps..

1. You connect to xbox live.
2. Go to Online Franchise and follow the instructions.
3. Use a "redeem code" from the back of your instructions inside your case. (should be at the top of the back cover.)

From there, I don't know if you have the ability to select join a Franchise, or what. But at that point, I can also send out invites I believe.

Okay, the rules of FA, rookie Trading and Trading in General.

Free Agency Rules:

1. You must go in line with what position you are set at. If you pick out of turn, (unless okay'd otherwise) you must cut the player you jumped turn and picked up.. or be kicked from the League.

2. You can CUT anyone, at any time.

3. You have 24 hours (at most) to make your selection. If you do not make a selection in a 24 hour period, then you can make ONE selection at any time you get on between then and your next pick. If you miss multiple picks, you can sign 'said' number of picks you are behind.

To find out how many you've missed check our Transaction page. (Brian signed a kicker to kick things off) Go from that spot, then on, to determine how many picks behind you are.

Rookie Trading Rules:

DO NOT do so, unless you give up an 85 or higher, especially for 1st-3rd round picks. 75 or higher for 4th-5th, and finally 65 or higher for 6th-7th.

The reason these are set extremely high, are due to the fact that Rookies are the future of the game. Several within the top 3 rounds have A-B potential, yet are rated low. Thus, anyone could give up a back-up for a future stud. If you give up an 85 or higher for a 1st-3rd round pick, its more equal rated.

Trading Rules Overall:

1. Trading players is simple when you play realistically. If you have an ovr thats higher than the player you're trading for.. it should be acceptable. (barring the rookie rule) There are, however, catches to this rule. For example.. age.

Do not trade a player thats likely to retire after this season, for a 2nd yr pro. Even if your guy is higher ranked by 2 pts or more. IF you want to do this, you must give up 2 players for 1. And the 2nd player needs to be a 70 or higher, and a potential starter on the team you're trading for. (ie. Brian is giving Ike Hilliard, I think, and Clinton Portis for Brandon Jacobs - Portis is higher rated, Hilliard is likely to retire.)

2. Human/Human trading can be done without limitations. Both parties are responsible for their own actions. If you trade a rookie for a guy ready to die on the field, its your choice.

3. You can trade players for higher ovr players, if the ovr is within 2 pts. and the guy you are trading will be a valuable player to the team you're trading to. (ie. the guy you're trading will become their team's starter, or replacement starter for the guy you're trading for)

When in doubt.. don't be afraid to ask me if its okay to trade 'so-and-so, for so-and-so'. Brian does it all the time. :p

I'm in.

Gamertag: Ty Burna
Team: Minnesota Vikings

You're fucked Will.

I figured you'd join, Ty. Let's hope Marquis & Battlez can look into it as well. I know both have the online feature.

If Wes had a fucking 360, I know he'd be in in a heartbeat. LOL I'd just like to have 1 person in each division, to say the least. That'd be amazing. It'd practically mean our Playoff's would be fucking awesome.

I'm actually racing to Bismarck (hour long drive) to go grab my copy, and my Xbox 360 wireless adapter after work in about ohhhhhh 18 minutes.

I'm actually racing to Bismarck (hour long drive) to go grab my copy, and my Xbox 360 wireless adapter after work in about ohhhhhh 18 minutes.

If we're both online later tonight, I'll play you. I'm gearing up the 360 in roughly 5 seconds to check out my team. I heard the overall rankings of everyone is fucked. (meaning, everyone is ranked horribly low, but it might make it more realistic.)

Yeah I looked at the overall ratings, my QB's are shit, we're talking in the 60's here. But I guess they're doing that to make the truly elite players actually feel elite with an upper 90 rating, very good with a low 90, good in the upper 80's, decent in lower 80's and average in the 70's so on and so far.

This is going to take some adjusting to.....

Oh and I"m sure I'll be online with it tonight when I get home.

Oh and I am in fully prepared for Madden, this is the headset I purchased:

XBox360MotorolaGamingHeadsetX205.jpg

WE CAN BUY THOSE FOR ONLINE HEADSETS?!?!?!?! I'm in heaven.

It's not a stereo headset unfortunately, it's mono, but fuck it sounds clear as day when I was talking to my bro on Live with it.

Look for it on ebay, Motorola X205, theyr'e only like $16.

Alright everyone.. the Franchise is up right now.

I've tried to send out invites, but it looks like each of us willing to play.. needs to set-up the Online Franchise ability. Here are the Steps..

If I only had an Xbox 360 :(

You need to get one. If this gets organized good enough, its going to be a blast. Bound to be. All of us are online enough, and communicate enough, that no one person should be able to delay us from playing at a reasonable pace.

I read that we can go for up to 10 full seasons, with ALL the features available. (off-season stuff, trading, drafts, everything)

We need to get this thing going.. NOW! I'm excited to say the least.

I'm constantly updating the Front page w/ new info as it comes.

We have a nice starting group of individuals, but I'd really love to see some AFC teams/guys come into play as well. :lmao: Otherwise, the Jags look to have a free shot to the Super Bowl.

I wonder if xfear does the xbox deal? Maybe he could lead his Pats, eh?

In...I knew Ty would take my Vikings but my hometown colts are good enough for me. first off I get Peyton Manning instead of the shit 67 rated Tarvaris Jackson. I'll miss AP but I have an overall better team in Indy. Oh and Love Song Writer...I hope you like wildcards...cuz thats all your getting we own this division bitch! lol Fucking titans...

I"m diggin the music they got for Madden this year, 2pac, Nas, Cypress Hill, The Beastie Boys?!?!?! Public Enemy..Killswitch Engage, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, holy fuck, I love this. Shame they didn't throw any independent hip hop acts like previous years in there.

So if we don't fill up all of the 32 teams with people from here, are you just going to open this to the public or invite people from outside the forums?
