WZCW would like to confirm that a "Gold Rush" tournament will be taking place through the weeks heading into Redemption with the winner of the tournament challenging the World Heavyweight Champion for the title at Apocalypse. Both the semi-finals and finals will be taking place at the PPV with the finals predicted to be the main event of Redemption. No matter the result, the tournament is guaranteed to have a winner who has yet to hold the World title as all former World champions will be banned from competing.
It is worth noting that a second restriction is being added to the tournament where any WZCW wrestler who is currently an active champion will be banned from entering as well. WZCW Officials would like to keep all champions available as they are looking to have all championships defended at Redemption.

The tournament brackets, seedings and competitors will be entirely random, except for Isabel Stone who has already qualified and received a bye for the first round due to her victory against Blade & Triple X at the "WrestleZone" Weekend event prior to Kingdom Come V. Competitors will be informed of their opponents beforehand but the matches will not be designed by WZCW Officials as they will be using the same methods that are utilised during the Roulette Rounds.
As of right now, the amount of competitors who will be entering the tournament is uncertain. Ideally, 14 random competitors will be picked and face each other in randomly-selected matches. The seven winners will meet Isabel Stone, thus creating 8, at the quarter-finals where 4 winners are produced. The 4 winners will go to Redemption to compete in the semi-finals and the finals should they win their respective matches. However, this isn't set in stone as of yet so keep your eyes peeled for further updates as we receive more information.
