WWE's original plans for Ric Flair

WZ was the first to report back in June that there were creative plans being discussed for Dolph Ziggler to be managed by Ric Flair.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now confirming WZ's report was accurate at the time and report the current storyline we're seeing with The Miz using the Figure Four was originally written for Dolph Ziggler. This association with Flair would have set up a face turn for Ziggler.

Any plans of Ziggler turning face have been put on hold hence why WWE has decided to pair Ric Flair with The Miz.
