Well, the Cigar Lounge remains live and kicking. This week, we even got an appearance from Lord Sidious. Sidious made his name in the wrestling sections. He is a very polarizing poster, and while he may never be homecoming king, polarizing is good for the boards. He creates discussion.

Polarizing is important nowhere more that the Lounge. It drives the discussion, and mature adults can play that game and still be friends. X and I have agreed on two things, global warming and our hatred of Menstrual Blood, the poster, not the actual blood. But we are friends forever, and the Lounge doesn't change that. Sidious is the kind of poster that can bring that kind of measured dissension to new heights. Welcome to the Lounge.

Speaking of polarizing, Senator Ted Kennedy passed away this week. WHile many call him the liberal lion, he did a great job of crossing the aisle to work on the American's With Disabilities Act, civil rights, immigration, and too many more to mention over his nearly five decades in the Senate. Glad to see Tenta trolling the Lariat! I watched an episode of Nitro where Tenta denounces his Shark gimmick and is simply Tenta, a half shaven maniac out to fuck up Giant and Big Bubba. I also watched Tenta and a Japanese guy wrestle Terry Gordy and Stan Hansen. Hansen worked over the leg of Tenta. No way Hansen's going toe to toe with Tenta.

This for sure. For legit toughness, in a squeaker, I'd give the edge to Hansen. By a smidge. In terms of Japanese fame, again, Hansen. But, in a sumo fight? Have to go with Tenta.

Namely, I'm going to ask why we're so sensitive about the issue of weight, and so sensitive in calling people "fat", and another one asking why people think it's wrong to have an ego.
