I generally stay as far from goat ropin' music as I can but I dig Charlie Daniels. Similarly, there are very few rappers I listen to but Short tops the list.

Daniels is a different breed of cat than most country artists. The Uneasy Rider song is how he doesn't fit in with the rednecks, him being a long-haired dope smoker and all.

Short is so over-the-top, his music always puts me in a good mood. He usually brings a cool bass line and a smooth rap. Besides, I grew up in the East Bay and he's a legend out there.
