Sin Cara Debuts!

Yes, after weeks of Promo's, the long-awaited Debut of Sin Cara, the WWE's latest Signing, happened. Sheamus was giving a post-match beatdown to Daniel Bryan, after successfully retaining his United States Championship. However, during the beatdown, Sin Cara's Music hit and he came out to the Ramp. He ran down to the Ring, lept over the Ropes and unleashed an attack on the Celtic Warrior. Ending it in a picture perfect Crossbody from the Top Rope, Cara made a true statement. You can see the attack in this video;

So, now Sin Cara has debuted, where does he go now? By the looks of it, he wants the United States Championship. Either that, or he wants to protect vulnerable Wrestlers. Which is highly unlikely to be honest. So, next week, will Cara have a United States Title Match? I think it's likely. If not, just a normal match against Sheamus. But if Sin Cara does have a United States Title Match against Sheamus, I don't see him losing it. So, I am also guessing it will then be a Normal Match. Either way, Cara will beat Sheamus, take him off his winning streak and shake him up a bit. I see good things for Sin Cara and the questions I want to ask you are;

1) What did you think of Sin Cara's Debut?
2) What will happen next week with Sin Cara?

1) Loved his debut. That crossbody was INSANE!

2) He'll challenge Sheamus for the title at Extreme Rules.

Yeah, that Crossbody was insane. At first, I thought it was just the Camera Angle that was making it look THAT good, but after watching it a few time, I noticed how he jumps so well into it as well. Looks perfect.

1) The crowd was a little dead but I'm not fussed about that. He certainly proved his stones in his 30 second or so in-ring stuff.

2) He's going to have an interesting feud with an established star in Sheamus. I say interesting because if he can't speak English their going to have to work around that, and I'm intrigued as to how they do this.

There were a few things I didn't like about Sin Cara's debut. I think his theme song is decent, but it might not be suitable for WWE. I can tell WWE tried to mimic his Mistico theme song which was Amero by ERA but the problem is, in Mexico, Sin Cara's entrance was more like that of an MMA fighter(MMA Legend Fedor Emelianenko has also used music by ERA as his entrance theme.)

Mistico would come out to the ring sometimes escorted by women and he'd have his hands clasped together, this was because he was some type of religious baby face.
I don't think the WWE is going to understand Sin Cara as well, as last I heard, he was only just learning to speak english. Right now, I see very little difference between Sin Cara and TNA's Suicide.

Like I've said, the music kind of bothers me and I'm not sure what type of music would have been best. The best way I can explain it, is that Sin Cara's gimmick kind of calls for him to have an Undertaker/Triple H type entrance, where the entrance it's self is sort of a spectacle. I just don't know if Sin Cara is going to be able to get his own entrance over. He's great in the ring, but he's still only 5'7. I think they definitely should of tried something different though, may be he comes through the crowd, from the rafters(though that's probably barred from WWE,) just something different then the music and "pointing" entrance he had last night.

Other then the music, I'm not really a fan of his current outfit and I'm hoping he has more then one. The cyan/yellow power ranger gear and then the mustard colored coat didn't look great. I think he would of been better suited wearing something white, or geared more towards his Mistico look.

Anyway, aside from music and outfit, the debut was ok. Nothing special aside from the cross body. I'm interested to see what fans think of his in-ring, I haven't seen much, some of it's really cool and some of it might not get over in WWE.

Like to me, it seems like Cara's arms are always at his sides. Like if he's fighting with a rope tied around his chest. His ring work is all legs and so a lot of his moves have a really "staged" look to them because he always has to prepare for a big jump/flip.

The problem I see him having is that he's 5'7 and he's used to wrestling guys his size to three inches taller who all wrestle the mexican style. How well is he going to transition into the WWE style where most guys are over 6'0 and much more bulky.

Next week, I think Sin Cara will face a smaller wrestler like Primo or Chavo. It will probably be someone from Raw so it might even be a face like Bryan, Bourne, or Tatsu.
I don't think Bryan is dropping out of the US title picture, because then he loses his spot on Raw. Next week the WWE will go back to business as usual. We probably won't see Triple H, smackdown guys, Rock(see ya in 11 months), or Austin.

The new storylines have to be created now and so I'm sure we'll start to see the beginning of feuds for Extreme Rules. I think we will start to see guys like Dibiase and Rhyder again. I kind of have a feeling that the US title will be a three or four way dance at Extreme Rules.

In closing, I look forward to seeing more of Sin Cara, I just hope WWE doesn't mess it up.

*I think Cara will be in the US title match at Extreme Rules, but he won't win which is why it will be a 3/4 man match. Next week he will either face Daniel Bryan or some jobber, I don't think it will be against Sheamus, even though that's who he will be feuding with this month. Sheamus will likely attack him if he has a match. If Sin Cara doesn't have a match, he will interfere again. Not necessarily even against Sheamus, if someone is being bullied, I could see Sin Cara running out again.

I could see a Ted Dibiase/Tatsu type match happening next week where Dibiase starts beating on Tatsu after the match and Sin Cara comes out. I think WWE really wants to get Cara over as a hero baby face and I can see him showing up whenever someone is in trouble.

What are people's thoughts on Sin Cara attacking Swagger last night on Raw?
I don't think we'll see a Sin Cara match until after Extreme Rules, I think he's going to continue to interfere attacking the top mid carders.

One thing I noticed is that when he did that hurricarana to Swagger, he didnt land on his feet. In mexico, vs'ing guys his size and a little taller, he would land on his feet after doing that move. It's different when he has to jump up and do it to a guys who are like 6'3 and 6'5.

I'm sure the kids will like him cuz they will like whoevr they r told to like and especialy when they have a mask/paint, but I don't think Sin Cara is going to catch on to well with the older fans. WWE is really pushing him as a G-PG type wrestler who lets his moves do all the talking.

I think he's awesome. The WWE needs a superhero-like character, and Sin Cara is perfect. He points, he wears a mask, and he flies. He could be like a darker implied Hurricane type.

Doc. Not everything needs to be like Gregory Helms. Nobody wants tio be like that dick or his spin off.

He attacked Sheamus on RAW.

Swagger was attacked on Smackdown

Yeah, Millie is right, I made a typo. You know Sin Cara/Swagger was all I saw of Smackdown. I read the spoilers for SD and watched it on the internet. The last thing that I liked from Smackdown was a six man tag. The Hardy Boyz and Jomo vs CM Punk and The Hart Dynasty. Other then that, it was Paul Bearer's return. I think the SD guys have good potential, it's just been pretty shit for awhile and I think it has something to do with the veterans going back to when Hardy/MVP were on the roster.

I like a super hero type character, as well. But what is going to make Sin Cara stand out as opposed to TNA's Suicide (a darker implied Hurricane type?) I'm just trying to point out that Suicide was handled by two good wrestlers in Kaz and Christopher Daniels, who while small, are still bigger then 5'7 Sin Cara.

But TNA is not WWE. I just hope Sin Cara gets the right production and outfit to fill the role he's been given. I rather him wear something black or white if that's what they're going for and maybe make his entrance a little better.
