Welcome to the first ever Signature of The Month, here you will be able to expose your work and the WZ Universe will choose who they think that should win this competition.
You have to post two signatures according to the themes, try to post them at the same time...

Rules:

• The Signature of The Month has to be in accordance with the forum rules.
• You can't create threads stating how you think your signature is better because it will ruin the friendly part of the competition and you will be DQ'd;
• Everyone can participate;
• You have to create your own signature or you will be DQ'd;
• This post is only for Signature post and "good" feedback, don't forget that this is a non-spam thread;
• Poll will be up at 24th July and they will close at 31st July;
• For every other discussion, use the Discussion Thread in the Requests.

Here is my signature entry.

How I did it:
1.) Googled "Insidious", found a workable poster.
2.) Played around with gradient maps.
3.) Brushed on the main image, erased if necessary.
3.) Used a simple font for the text.
4.) Added a border.

I guess I'm getting my entries in prematurely. I'm iffy on this one:

How I did it:
1.) Painted Black background.
2.) Brushed background.
3.) Added renders.
4.) Lowered overlay on both.
5.) Added text.
6.) Used black/white gradient map.
7.) Added 3px border.

Well, here are my entries:

Both are simply one image on a black BG. I did heaps of adjustments like duplicate-desaturate-overlay and level/contrast editing. I also did some black brushing on overlay. I think the text sort of ruins them. I don't expect the Hangover one to win but maybe the Yoda one will. Who knows?

Alright here is my first entry. I'll get to the second one when I get some time to whip something up. Hopefully I remember how I whipped the 2011 movie one up. So without further adieu:

This was actually pretty simple to make. I googled Horrible Bosses and the main image showed up with Bateman, Sudeikis, and Day. I then fiddled around with some layers of black, white, and other textures to play around with lighting and what not. Then I added in some layers of exposure, hue/saturation, and photo filters to give it that off green tone. Then topped it off with added effects of sharpen, blurs, etc. Hard to explain as I made the sig two or three weeks ago and everything has left my mind.

Man I have been so lazy lately, so I haven't had any time to do any sigs!!

• Original Render + Smudiging and Brushing to give some effect.
• BG Render and some C4D's in the Green Lantern one.
