Sentinel Squad Armor
Since the discovery of a large mutant population, a portion of humanity has lived in fear of these powerful individuals. They united under that fear and have unleashed many frightening and evil plots against mutantkind. Perhaps their greatest achievement was the creation of the Sentinel.
Sentinels are fully automated robots that are tasked with hunting down and capturing or killing mutants. They are fearsome creations with humanoid bodies and faces that stand several dozen feet tall and are equipped with all sorts of dangerous weapons.
The Sentinels have long been a thorn in the side of the X-Men, but are often little more than just that: an annoyance. The X-Men are constantly wary of the Sentinel threat, but its one that they have dealt with time and time again until it reached the point where the X-Men were quite adapt at dealing with Sentinels. However, as the X-Men evolved so did the Sentinel program, and newer and more powerful Sentinels were created. This particular Sentinel is the one employed by the United States government O*N*E* (Office of National Emergency) program.
The updates to the Sentinel Squad Armor are impressive. These sentinels are significantly bigger than the traditional sentinel, have vamped up weapon capabilities, and are composed of more resilient material. They were designed by Tony Stark and Mister Fantastic and are the most powerful Sentinel model to date.
Powers
- Psi-shields- The Sentinel Squad Armor is immune to psychic based attacks.
- Power adaptation- This Sentinel Model is able to adapt to its opponents powers. By using advanced computing, the Sentinel is able to analyze what measures it can take to counteract their opponents attacks.
Assets
- Pulsar beams- Pulsar beams are forceful blasts used to knock around opponents.
- Missiles- The Sentinel is able to shoot missiles from its eyes and chest.
- Sonic weapons- The Sentinel can emit sonic pulses that can interfere with electrical equipment and cause physical pain to organic opponents.
