Main Gimmick: Teacher, here to teach child fans a lesson

2 Characteristics of Gimmick:
1: Picks on younger members of the audience and points out their faults
2: Acts more intelligent than everybody else, uses long words and looks down on others.

Fighting Style: Technical wrestler who likes to use moves that he believes make him look more intelligent; a tactician as well who focuses in on the weakness of an opponent and takes advantage of it by targeting it and exposing it further.

Previous Injuries/Character Psyche:
Butty's obsession with looking superior can often get him into problems; sometimes, when he should make a cover, he goes for that extra exclamation point move and looks to emphasise his superiority and it can go wrong. He is also susceptible to a brawl and will take ways out of this form of fight wherever possible - his biggest nightmare is a Hardcore/Street Fight/No DQ style match where it simply comes down to who can hit hardest.

Brief History: Butty is a qualified school teacher who grew tired of teaching ‘snotty-nosed, ungrateful’ children and left the profession to become a wrestler. He now looks down on children, picks out their faults and hates that children attend wrestling events instead of getting an education that ‘most desperately need.’ Butty has become even more agitated since moving to the USA where standard rules of English are not used and he believes it is his mission, as an ambassador of Her Majesty the Queen, to put this right and correct incorrect spelling and grammar wherever he sees it. He looks down on people, talks down to people and acts more intelligent than he really is.

Entrance Description: He walks slowly towards the ring in his shirt, trousers and tie combination and with his glasses on the tip of his nose so that he can look down on people. He will challenge children at ringside to spell difficult words, he will snap his fingers in their faces and challenge them to calculate quickly and he will pick fault with his opponent when he enters the ring. Once in the ring, Butty climbs to the middle rope and holds his arms out beside him and smiles as if he is doing America a favour.

Sample RP:

An outside shot of an American school is shown, Stars and Stripes flying outside the building, the excitable chatter of children going about their daily school lives can be heard. The camera switches to the inner sanctum of the school, down the corridor, past the lockers and into a classroom. In this room, the blinds are drawn and it is a darker place, a place where the chatter of children can no longer be heard. The only sounds are those of chalk tapping on a board and we see that a man is stood at the far end of the classroom, his back turned. Rows of silent children are writing in their books as the man turns around ... He is dressed in a black shirt and trousers with a black and red tie and he looks around the classroom with a snarling face. On the board are the words ... MR. BUTTY.

Butty:
I’ve been living here in the United States of America for five years now and the standard of English here is deplorable. The citizens of this once proud, righteous nation should be ashamed of the children of today.

Butty glares at a child as he walks around the classroom checking on the books. He points to some writing in one book with a menacing look on his face, the child squeaks in fear to change it ...

Butty:
Although this country has elected to speak the language of the most respected country in the world, you Americans have butchered it, desecrated it beyond recognition. Your youngsters no longer know the difference between a full stop and a semi colon. They would rather spend countless hours playing mind-numbing video games than learning their arithmetic facts.

Butty snaps his fingers in the face of a young girl who looks up terrified ...

Butty:
What is 7 multiplied by 9?

The young girl is petrified and mumbles an answer that clearly infuriates Butty even more.

Butty:
You foolish girl! The answer is clearly 63. Why didn’t you learn this as requested last night?

The girl doesn’t answer but Butty notices her pencil case on the desk and he picks it up to examine it – on the case is the logo of the latest WZCW superstar and Butty turns his nose up in disgust.

Butty:
The youth of America prefer to look up to false idols, they refuse to identify the need to work hard on their studies and the need for a good educational grounding. They spend their time idolising people like this ...

Butty holds up the pencil case for the world to see ...

Butty:
... and they spend less and less time perfecting their use of commas, spelling complex words correctly and learning their number facts by heart. In a few short weeks, Mr. Butty will descend on WZCW and I will ensure that every child hears my message. I will ensure that every child who watches WZCW will be clear about what their priorities should be. And I will ensure that any WZCW superstar who panders to these children, any WZCW superstar who distracts these children from what is most imperative, I will ensure that those superstars are taught a lesson!

Butty looks down at the girl in disgust and violently throws her pencil case at the wall where it cracks into pieces and falls down the wall. Butty smirks as he looks around the classroom ...

Butty:
Back to work, children.
