These guys are from Borderlands 2 & The Pre Sequel They have a gland that works as a shield as well as a cloaking device that turns them invisible until right before they attack you. Now that would be enough to irritate the piss out of anyone right? Well that's not all, they are also fast as shit so when they do turn invisible all you are able to do is keep an eye on your mini map and move around until they become visible again. They also tend to travel in packs.

The good news is that once their shield is all the way down they can't cloak anymore either so all you have to I chase them until they're deed. The best way I've found to do tho is with a long range weapon (like a sniper rifle) and pick them off from afar. An Elemental weapon also does good if you have one. Shock weapons are the best choice because the shock damage saps their shield real quick.

I always hated the basic zombies in the Resident Evil games.

No I'm not joking either. They always pissed me off because the rules with them are super inconsistent. It's been shown, like most every other zombie franchise, that a single bite from a zombie is lethal. I have no issues there. Plenty of NPCs and lowly characters have gotten bitten and turned later. Good deal. My issue is that when they attack the player, the rules go out the window. Now I know that the bite is lethal, and things like scratches and claw marks aren't as defined, but one of the in game events is the zombie biting you multiple times with lots of blood spewing everywhere and you just shake the analog stick to kick them off. Why are the protagonists of RE immune of zombie bites?

There is also the issue of being able to kill them with body shots. Yeah, headshots do more damage and sometimes result in one shot kills, but you can usually drop them with 3-5 body shots from your basic starter handgun.

It just bugs me that you have such an iconic series that is centered around, at least in the early games, an established monster trope and they ignore the rules when it's convienant for them to do so.

If I had to pick like an enemy I hated due to just pure fucking my shit up levels of hatred, I'd go with Deathclaws from the Fallout series.

These fuckin' things.

They're massive, they have a whole shitload of hit points, their lone weak spot is small, hard to hit and infrequent, sometimes you can go through them and sometimes you die just touching them and they can fire smart bombs that tail you. Worst of all, they are absolutely relentless. They come at you in endless numbers and make it impossible to ever beat the game.

Darknuts - Legend Of Zelda

Darknut%20-%20Blue%20(Front).gif

Whether we're talking about the original 8 bit Darknuts or their counterparts from later entries like Wind Waker or Twilight Princess.... These guys are consistently among the worst enemies in every Zelda game they appear in. My least favorite type is the original. Nothing can prepare you for a room full of Blue Darknuts. Not even the most skilled Zelda player could walk into such a room without some intimidation. They are smarter than most other enemies, often have a lot of health compared to their peers, and in later entries they are difficult to hit either due to their fighting style. In the original they have to be hit from the side due to their armor and it's quite tough to get to a spot where you can safely attack them from the right direction. I hate these guys so much.

Malboros - Final Fantasy

My runner up would be these guys. They can unleash a myriad of negative status effects on you within moments and in older entries like FF4 you didn't have access to gear that protects you from all those status effects. The Ribbon item and other available items that protect from negative statuses are a must in any title Malboros exist in due to their infamous Bad Breath attack. Trivial note, they were mistranslated as "Evil Oscars" in FF6's SNES version.

Tommy Gunn- Rocky Legends (PS2)

The origin stories leading into the events for the movies for Drago, Creed, and Lang are fun to play, if you're a fan of the films, and the "how it all began" (slight twist for Drago's storyline) storylines. Rocky's storyline is the best, and everything ends with Rocky 5, so Tommy Gunn is basically the final boss.

Maybe it's just me on this one, but I lost count for the number of times it took me to finally beat him, because he's a real pain in the ass to fight. But you could say they're staying true to the events in the films, because going up against Tommy Gunn should be a tough, tough fight for a broken down and over the hill version of Rocky.

WWE 2K14 (PS3)- The Rock

Beating The Rock at the end of The 30 Years Of Wrestlemania mode at Wrestlemania 29 was beyond frustrating. I only did it once, but from what I remember, I just ran Cena all over the place, put Rock through one of the announcer's tables, got lucky, and finally hit the AA. Changing the difficultly level didn't help that much, and it's all but guaranteed you're done for, if Rock gets his hands on you. One of the few times, where I actually wanted to throw a hard, blunt object through my TV screen.

Sticking with 2K14, I have to throw in Taker and The Streak Mode. Defending The Streak? Not too bad. Picking someone else to end it? Egads it's annoying. Taker is pretty much invincible, can counter anything, so constantly knocking the crap out of him gives you the best shot at winning (I never did).

I'll expand on Mitch's choice of 'Taker in The Streak mode on 2k14. The guy could reverse anything, get a 2 count and the lights go out and he pops up behind you to tombstone you. Go to near his legs and you're in the hella gate. It takes around 5 finishers to end him.

I had success with Batista and Lesnar as I could spam his running grapple moves and both Edge and Foley because they were hardcore specialists and durable. The key is to battle outside the ring. You have all the OMGs to use and the weapons plus he isn't pinning you outside.

Then you gotta light that motherfucker up like he stole off your baby. Throw him in the ring with a stored finisher and end him. Be prepared for his to no sell and finish you with a tombstone or a hells gate. They would appear after he has used his special perk to get out of the pin (can't remember the exact name) and I'm sure he had unlimited use of them. It was a graft but you felt accomplished.

Giant Spore

These guys are also from Borderlands 2 and are my honorable mention. Not only do they float in the air making it harder to kill they come with 1 of 5 elemental types meaning they do even more damage when a shot connects. As if this isn't bad enough they pop out little spores that explode on contact and also do elemental damage of the same type as Mama spore.

They do have some upsides though. They follow you and if you do it right you can bring them to another bad guy and they'll attack each other, making it easier to kill them both.

However when you do kill it it explodes into a handful of the tiny spored that you then have to dodge until they touch down and explode.

AKUMA Street Fighter 2 Alpha

Akuma is a dark character in the Street Fighter series, he's a hybrid of Ken/Ryu with superior speed and (seemingly) more powerful uppercuts. For whatever reason, Akuma in SF2 Alpha was damn near impossible for me. I think I beat him once but I don't remember, what I do remember is having tons of close losses against him and rage quitting a lot. I swear his A.I was learning my strategy in the first round and adapting it for the second and third if needed. Fuck you Akuma. I hate you.

This question can be interpreted in different ways. Do we mean most hated is the owns that annoy us and we can't stand to go up against or do we mean most hated in that they're so damn hard and challenging that we can't stand do go up against them?

The video game baddie that annoys me the most is Mike Tyson from Mike Tyson's Punch Out. One punch in the first 90 secs of the 1st round is an instant knock down and he's so damned fast that it's almost impossible to dodge with enough time to hit back. I used to beat him by just nearly surviving the first 90 secs and then trying to counter punch. One has to be on there A game to beat Tyson in decisive fashion.

The Video game baddie is so hard that I hate them, well there's 2. Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 and Albert Wesker from Resident Evil 5. Both are relatively tame in the normal or easy difficulties. Face them in anything above normal though and then talk to me. They're nearly impossible unless you make every move perfectly.

EDIT: I should have posted this in the boss thread instead. Sorry!

Shao Khan in Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

I don't hate the character, in fact he's one of my favourite game character, I just "hate" him as a boss in that he kept beating my ass over and over once to the point where I felt like punching my TV.
