We come back from Commercial and we see Zack Ryder in the ring. The commentators tell us how he wasn’t booked for the show tonight. Zack then says that he should have been in the tournament and he is angry. He then announces that next week, Zack Ryder will be issuing an open challenge to anyone on the roster who wants to face him. Suddenly Mick Foley comes down to the ring. Foley tells Zack that he has someone who will face him next week… The debuting Sheamus. Zack looks stunned. Mick Foley then walks to the back with Zack following.

We then see a lot of the ECW Staff setting up tables all around ringside. Some are folded. Some are all ready built up. There are about 20 tables around the ring and then staff starts putting some up the tables by the entrance ramp and on the ramp.

Match 7: Big Show vs. Rhyno in a Tables Championship Tournament Match.
Before the match starts both men bring a table down to the ring. They have both set it up. Rhyno had his table in the corner and Big Show had his set up on all fours. Both men started to trade blows with each other. Big Show however got the knee into the gut of Rhyno. Big Show then chucked Rhyno out of the ring and followed out. Big Show got the big boot up and kicked Rhyno in the face. With Rhyno down, Big Show cleared the announce table with intentions of putting Rhyno through it. With Big Show distracted, Rhyno smashes Big Show with a folded table. Big Show falls on the announce table from the shot. Rhyno then climbs to the top rope and jumps but the announce table doesn’t break so the match continues.

Both men are lying on the floor obviously in pain from the previous move. Rhyno is up first and sets up a table ringside. He turns around but Big Show is waiting. Big Show then chokeslams Rhyno but misses the table. The referee is concerned about Rhyno’s back but Show doesn’t care. Show smashes Rhyno back first into the ring post before throwing him into the ring. Big Show then tries to chokeslam Rhyno through the table that is currently in the ring but to no look as Rhyno rakes the eyes. Rhyno then hits Show with a massive shot in the knee with a table. This brings Big Show down to size. Rhyno then leans the table against Big Show and gores it smashing the table against Big Show’s body. Rhyno then goes to the corner waiting for Big Show to get up. Show gets up and Rhyno goes for the gore but misses and goes through the table. The referee says that since Rhyno put HIMSELF through the table, it doesn’t count.

Big Show sees that Rhyno is down and takes full advantage of this. Big Show picks Rhyno up by his hair and hits the Weapon of Mass Destruction. Big Show then grabs Rhyno by the throat and chokeslams him through the table on the outside of the ring.
Winner = Big Show

After the match we see the brackets once more. We see that next week it will be Kane vs. William Regal, Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy, The Sandman vs. Sabu and Big Show vs. Winner of Dreamer vs. Christian. Big Show then smiles and walks off to the back.

We go backstage where we see Finlay talking to Tommy Dreamer and Christian. Finlay wishes both men luck in the Street Fight tonight. Finlay then tells Dreamer and Christian to make ECW proud tonight and put on a great match. We then go to our last commercial of the night.

Match 8: Tommy Dreamer vs. Christian in a Street Fight Championship Tournament Match
The bell rings as both men shake hands and hug in the middle of the ring. Finlay’s music hits and he comes to ringside. He has a microphone. He says he wants to be ringside for the match between two of his friends. Finlay then stands in the corner. The Big Show’s music also hits as he comes out wanting to see who he will face next week for the title shot.

They lock up with Dreamer getting the better of things. He starts hitting lefts and rights on Christian but Christian counters with a knee to the guts. He shoots Dreamer of the ropes and hits the dropkick sending Dreamer down. Christian doesn’t give Dreamer a chance to catch a breath as almost instantly Christian is on Dreamer with a headlock. Dreamer then shoots Christian of the ropes. Dreamer then trips Christian over while he is running of the ropes. Dreamer then goes in for a pinfall

Not even a 1 count.

Christian then pushes Dreamer off and they both look at each other as a sign of respect. They lock up again but Christian gets the better of it with a shot to the midsection. He then throws Dreamer out of the ring and Dreamer goes crashing into the barricade on the outside. Christian then waits in the ring before hitting a baseball slide to Dreamer which once again slams the head of Dreamer into the barricade. Christian then gets a chair of one of the skinny fans sitting ringside. Christian smacks Dreamer in the guts with the chair and then smacks him over the back. Christian then pins.

Dreamer powers out.

Christian and Dreamer then engage in a fist fight up the entrance ramp before disappearing. Big Show then wonders backstage as well. We get a camera in the back and we see Christian smashing Dreamer with a chair while Dreamer is stuck behind a table. The table falls on Dreamer and Christian whacks it once more. He then pins Dreamer.

Dreamer finds the strange power to kick out.

Christian waits for Dreamer to get up. When he finally does get up, Christian goes to hit the killswitch on Tommy Dreamer but Dreamer pushes Christian off and Christian goes face first into some fencing backstage. We then get a view of the Big Show wondering around in the background. Tommy Dreamer gets a trash can and smashes it of the face of Christian. The camera gets a shot of Christian and his got a cut on the lip. Tommy Dreamer then smacks the trash can of Christian’s head and goes in for the cover.

No! Christian kicks out at 1.

Tommy Dreamer then hits Christian with a number of fists. He then hits Christian with a fall away slam. Christian however lands on a pile of stage blocks. Christian is clearly in pain. Dreamer then picks Christian up and walks away with him. They end up fighting by the stair cage. Tommy Dreamer hits the button by a near elevator. The elevator comes and Tommy throws Christian into it and follows into it. Other members of the staff quickly get out of the lift due to them not wanting any part of it. The referee also quickly runs in before it leaves. We lose sight of them but then the guys in the truck air the security camera in the elevator. We see Christian repeatly smashing the head of Dreamer against the walls of the elevator. Christian then smashes Dreamers face of the buttons and the elevator stops. Christian goes into the pinfall on Tommy Dreamer.

2...
No! Dreamer kicks out

They brawl some more with several fists to the face. Dreamer then throws Christian into the walls of the elevator. The referee can then be seen in the corner trying to fix the elevator. He manages it and it carries on moving. The door opens and Dreamer throws Christian out. They are by the fire escape door on the second floor. Christian stumbles out the fire escape and they are outside. Christian starts going down the stairs and Dreamer follows. Dreamer hits Christian’s face against the railing for the stairs as Christian falls down the 5 remaining steel stairs. Dreamer then takes Christian to a nearby RV Truck outside. Dreamer goes to smash Christian’s head against it but Christian blocks it with elbows to the midsection. Christian then slams Dreamer’s face into the car just missing the glass window screen of the car. Dreamer is busted open as Christian goes in for the pinfall on Dreamer.

Tommy Dreamer just kicks out.

Tommy Dreamer stumbles around. He is walking back to the entrance of the arena. Christian follows. They go in the arena and Dreamer is trying to take a breather by the locker room. Christian kicks Dreamer in the back and the locker room door opens. Wrestlers from the ECW Roster just watch as Christian and Dreamer brawl. Tommy Dreamer then kicks Christian in the midsection and then hits the piledriver onto the floor. Both Christian and Dreamer are down. Dreamer just manages to drape the arm over Christian about 15 long seconds later and goes in for the pinfall.

No! Christian just manages to slip the shoulder of the floor.

We once again see Big Show in the background. We hear the commentators asking themselves why Big Show is hanging around. That doesn’t bother Christian and Dreamer as they carry on fighting. Christian grabs a led pipe and starts laying into Dreamer with it. Christian then carries on with the fists to the open wound of Tommy Dreamer trying to bust him open even more. Christian then clears the food counter and Dreamer and Christian start fighting on it, Christian then hits the Killswitch onto Dreamer and then Christian goes in for the pinfall

Winner: Christian

After the match both Christian and Tommy Dreamer are down on the floor. We get a video of Finlay ringside clapping in support of Dreamer and Christian’s match. Christian gets up and starts celebrating backstage but then all of a sudden, Knockout Punch. Big Show punches Christian in the face as the show goes off the air.

The first episode of the New Year kicked off with a bang. 2009 saw the Championship Tournament for the ECW Championship start but now, on ECW, we bring down the cage for the next round. The next round will be Hardcore as ever. 4 Steel Cage Matches all this and more.

qofteh.jpg

Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy in a Steel Cage Match
We saw Mark Henry and Matt Hardy both win their respective matches. Henry defeated Lashly and Hardy defeated DOC in their qualifiers. However also last week we saw Mark Henry badly injure his opponent Matt Hardy. Will Matt Hardy be able to compete? Find out next week.

Kane vs. William Regal in a Steel Cage Match
Also last week we saw both Kane and William Regal win their matches too to qualify for the next round as Kane defeated Cody Rhodes and William Regal defeated the 7’’3 Giant, The Great Khali. Both men will be facing off tonight on ECW’s show. Who will win?

The Sandman vs. Sabu in a Steel Cage Match
Once again both The Sandman and Sabu also won their qualifying matches. The Sandman defeated the big and massive Ezekiel Jackson and the hardcore Sabu defeated The Whole F’n show, Rob Van Damn. Now they will face off.

The Big Show vs. Christian in a Steel Cage Match
In the last match of the qualifiers we saw Big Show defeat the war machine Rhyno and Christian defeat the heart and soul of ECW, Tommy Dreamer in the main event. This ment that Big Show and Christian will go through to the next round but the final moments of last week’s ECW may be the defining point in this match as Show hit the Knockout Punch on Christian.

Also on ECW, witness as Sheamus debuts to answer the open challenge of Zack Ryder. All this and more on ECW when returns to your screens. Don’t miss it.

Hey partner. This my first review, so I apologize if I just kinda bounce from point to point.

First I'll start with the positives
-I dig Mick Foley as GM. He's someone people respect, but won't be pushed over by heels.

-Such a large tournament, and everyone fighting so hard to advance, makes the ECW Title feel important to me.

-Mark Henry's monster heel, kicking everyone's ass because he can character is over big with me, keep that up.

Now some criticisms
-I feel some of the matches should be longer. Not all, but some. I'm just a stickler for details being a wrestler myself. I enjoy the story telling, its what gets me into the matches. I did notice your main event was the longest match, so kudos for that.

-Too many ECW originals advancing in the tournament. If it's a new era for ECW, some of it's future stars should have gotten that spotlight. The only one I really thought should have advanced was Bobby Lashley. Then of course there's guys like Punk and Jeff hardy on your roster who weren't even in the tourney, but in 2009 were main eventers.

-I woulda had Mark Henry defeat Khali instead of Regal. Overall it doesn't really matter, but imagine how unstoppable Henry would look if he's the one that defeated Khali to qualify? He'd look so damn bad! That's just a personal critique.

-The only other thing that bugged me, and again this is just a personal thing, was DOC. He was in WWE in 2009, so why not call him Luke Gallows?

Overall, not a bad show. I'm looking forward to see who becomes champ. I think it will be more interesting once the tourney is over when storylines pick up and feuds start to develop.

No Problem! I appreciate this! Your really helping me out.

First I'll start with the positives
-I dig Mick Foley as GM. He's someone people respect, but won't be pushed over by heels.
Yeah. I also had an idea for Paul Hayman or Eric Bischoff but I thought it would be easy writing for Foley.

-Such a large tournament, and everyone fighting so hard to advance, makes the ECW Title feel important to me.
That's what I was going for.

-Mark Henry's monster heel, kicking everyone's ass because he can character is over big with me, keep that up.
I like Henry as a monster heel and I'm going to try and push him without letting anyone else die if you get that. I plan to keep it up.

Now some criticisms

I'll be honest with ya. I'm a pretty bad match writer to be fair. I just try to keep it original instead of just repeating everything. Like I say he clothes lined him the pinned him and then saying that again. I tried with the main event as the big ME is the well, the main.

I wanted some guys from the ECW originals to start advancing in the tournament. This was so they could show the way for some smaller wrestlers. In MY Book This, Lashley isn't really that big. CM Punk wasn't in the tournament for well I don't know why and Jeff Hardy is inactive.

-I woulda had Mark Henry defeat Khali instead of Regal. Overall it doesn't really matter, but imagine how unstoppable Henry would look if he's the one that defeated Khali to qualify? He'd look so damn bad! That's just a personal critique.
I know but I also kind of wanted to give William Regal something to gloat about.

-The only other thing that bugged me, and again this is just a personal thing, was DOC. He was in WWE in 2009, so why not call him Luke Gallows?
I think "Director of Chaos" fits in more with ECW.

Overall, not a bad show. I'm looking forward to see who becomes champ. I think it will be more interesting once the tourney is over when storylines pick up and feuds start to develop.
The first feud has already started.
Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry

Hello Bocaj. This is my first review so hopefully it helps.

First of all I'm loving the tournament idea. Especially when each match comes under a certain stipulation. In my opinion WWE failed terribly when bringing back ECW. What you have here is a great roster with a great story going.

Mark Henry is a beast here. I like it. I loved the Miz-Tv segment were Henry destroyed the set. He was booked really we'll in the Body Slam challenge and then the ongoing attacks on Matt Hardy. It is showing us that Henry could very we'll dominate this ECW even after the tournament.

ECW Originals.
Alot of people will say to put them aside but you havent went overboard with these guys. Setting up a Sabu vs sandman match is keeping the spirit of old ECW alive. Rob Van Dam was a key player and I was pretty shocked he was put out but again you have set up a goold old fashion classic with Sabu and The Sandman. I'm sure RVD will come back and do what he does best.

The debut of Sheamus.
Keeping him away from the tournament is a good move. Let Sheamus have a good run dominating the roster for a few months and then eventually mix him into the main event. Just my opinion.

One thing that annoyed me about ECW on WWE TV was the fact that only the ECW Championship exsisted. Will you be incorporating any other belts? You have a solid Roster. Even bring in your own titles with your own name?

Mick Foley as the GM is a good move. Foley was always good at this role. Remember when he was the commisioner back in 2000. I can see him doing we'll here.

Your matches were good. I liked the chairs match and the idea of the bring your own weapon match. All very good. The main event was a good solid bout with Christian advancing and the Knockout blow at the end. You have set up each match perfectly for next weeks show. Bring on the cage.

Good luck with next weeks show.

Hello Bocaj. This is my first review so hopefully it helps.
Well, Welcome to the reviewing edge of Book This. I'm sure this will help me. All comment's help. I need to know if I'm doing good or bad.

First of all I'm loving the tournament idea. Especially when each match comes under a certain stipulation. In my opinion WWE failed terribly when bringing back ECW. What you have here is a great roster with a great story going.
Why thank you. Since it is ExtremeChampionship Wrestling, I thought the first round should show that. The first round should show the Extreme Factor of the tournament.

That's what I added Miz TV on for. Not just for some random filler... but to make Henry look dominant. I tried to book Henry in the Body Slam Challenge as I did and it all went well. It's hard to pick Lashley up anyway but to do it in almost record time... that's unbelievable for Henry!

ECW Originals.

Well I don't want to spoil anything for you so I'll just say this. I have a big feud planned for RVD.... Not going to tell you who has that might ruin it.

The debut of Sheamus.
Keeping him away from the tournament is a good move. Let Sheamus have a good run dominating the roster for a few months and then eventually mix him into the main event. Just my opinion.
Yeah. Totally agree with you their. Sheamus at the moment.. his new. I'm going to let him be new before giving him the WWE Title like WWE did.

One thing that annoyed me about ECW on WWE TV was the fact that only the ECW Championship exsisted. Will you be incorporating any other belts? You have a solid Roster. Even bring in your own titles with your own name?
The Way I've tried to make it is so that WWE has no connection to my ECW at all. Over time I might consider a second title but at the moment it's better with one due to the fact that with one I can concentrate all my attention onto it.

Mick Foley as the GM is a good move. Foley was always good at this role. Remember when he was the commisioner back in 2000. I can see him doing we'll here.
Yeah. Too be honest I haven't actually got anything planned for Mick yet however I will soon.

Your matches were good. I liked the chairs match and the idea of the bring your own weapon match. All very good. The main event was a good solid bout with Christian advancing and the Knockout blow at the end. You have set up each match perfectly for next weeks show. Bring on the cage.
Well thank you for the complement. I wanted to keep the chairs match simple so thanks for liking it. The bring your own weapon match I thought would be good because it would almost scream "SANDMAN'S KENDO STICK" and I thought Big Zeke could bring a weapon to. I'm glad you acknowledged the main event bout as I worked really hard on that one.. I was going to end it with Christian hitting Dreamer with his own move but I thought that would be too hellish.

Good luck with next weeks show.
It's already completed. I'm probably going to post it later. Should be interesting.

Extreme Championship Wrestling | 13th January 2009
- Sheamus’s Debut –

The show starts with Tazz and Joey Styles in the ring instead of in their usual announce position. They welcome us to the show and then they ask for the Championship Tournament Contestants to come out. Mark Henry leads the way with Big Show, Christian, William Regal, Kane, Sabu and The Sandman. The commentators say that they want to start off by making an announcement. They say that Matt Hardy will not be in action due to the beating he took last week and therefore Mark Henry advances to the Semi-Finals.

This brings out General Manager Mick Foley to the ring. Mick tells Henry that although he doesn’t have to face Matt Hardy in a Steel Cage Match, Mick Foley then says he promised people a Mark Henry Steel Cage Match and they are going to get one. Mick Foley then says that Mark Henry’s opponent will be… The returning Jeff Hardy! Jeff Hardy’s music hits and he runs to the ring. Mark Henry quickly exits as he wants no part of Jeff Hardy at that moment.

Mick Foley then wishes every one of the contestants for tonight’s tournament look. We then get another look at the tournament brackets and we see that it will be Kane vs. William Regal, The Sandman vs. Sabu and then finally Big Show vs. Christian. All inside a steel cage. Mick Foley then tells them all to go to the back and prepare for their tournament matches for tonight’s show.

Mick Foley then begins to talk about the January Pay Per View. He tells everyone that the first match will be the two winners of the tournament facing off for the ECW Championship Belt. He then announces that the match will be Last Man Standing! He then says that it is time for the first match of the night. Zack Ryder vs. the Debuting Sheamus!

Match 1: Zack Ryder vs. Sheamus
The match starts with Zack Ryder looking at Sheamus in the middle of the ring. Sheamus just looks right back staring a whole in Ryder. All of a sudden with no word of warning, Zack Ryder smacks Sheamus square in the face. This angers Sheamus as he goes to strike Zack Ryder back. Zack Ryder quickly runs out the ring acknowledging the fact that he has just completely angered a monster in Sheamus. Sheamus goes to rage at Ryder but the referee keeps him in the ring. The referee starts to count the countout.

Sheamus has had enough

Clearly, Zack Ryder has no intention of fighting as he turns around to walk up the entrance ramp. Sheamus hits him in the back of the head knocking Ryder down on the ramp. Sheamus then smacks Zack Ryder into the steel steps. Zack Ryder finally gets up and Sheamus hits a brogue kick but misses Ryder and smacks his foot of the steel steps. Sheamus foot in clearly in pain but then Zack notices that and stomps on the foot. Zack Ryder throws Sheamus into the ring. Zack Ryder hits a big elbow drop on Sheamus. Zack quickly goes in for the pin.

Sheamus powers out with ease.

Zack Ryder picks him up but Sheamus fights back with shots to the midsection of Zack Ryder. Sheamus then chucks him outside of the ring. Sheamus follows on and face plants Zack Ryder into the announce table. Sheamus then picks Zack Ryder up going for the high cross but Zack moves out of it and manages to get the boot up on Sheamus with a massive kick in the face. Zack grabs Sheamus’s arm and pulls him over and sits him by the stairs. Zack then hits a Broski Boot that sends Sheamus’s face into the ring steps. Zack Ryder then throws Sheamus into the ring to break the referee’s count. Zack then slides in and goes for the cover.

Sheamus just won’t quit as he powers out again.

Sheamus gets up as Zack Ryder measures him for the Rough Rider but Sheamus dodges it and hits the Brogue Kick on Zack Ryder but instead of going for the victory, He waits. When Ryder finally gets up Sheamus hits another Brogue Kick.

Winner = Sheamus

After the match, Sheamus gets the microphone; he says that he is putting the entire roster on notice. He says that no one will stop him in his path to becoming the top of the division. All of a sudden the ECW theme song hits and several superstars come out. We see Chavo Guerrero, John Morrison, MVP, Jack Swagger and Vladimir Kozlov come out. They are all on the entrance ramp. Chavo has the microphone. He says that they are all over looked and they will not stand for it. MVP then says that they are going to start with Sheamus. They then all run down to the ring and start attacking Sheamus. We hear The Miz’s theme song and The Miz runs down to the ring. CM Punk, Bobby Lashley and Goldust also run down to the ring and they aid Sheamus. Mick Foley comes out to the ring and he says that next week… it will be a five on five match. He then says it will be Chavo Guerrero, John Morrison, MVP, Jack Swagger and Vladimir Kozlov vs. Sheamus, The Miz, CM Punk, Bobby Lashley and Goldust. We then go to commercial break.

Match 2: Kane vs. William Regal in a Steel Cage Match.
Both Kane and William Regal are in the ring and we see the Steel Cage slowly coming down to the ring. We then get to see the highlight package on how both men advanced in the tournament of the contest. The bell then rings.

William Regal goes to punch Kane but Kane catches the fist of Regal in mid move. Kane then hits Regal with several shots which sends Regal into the corner, Kane then hits a huge splash to William Regal. Kane then throws William Regal into the wall of the Cage and Regal falls on his bottom. Kane then comes off the ropes and hits a Running Dropkick to Regal. When William Regal gets up, Kane hits a scoop slam on Regal and covers.
1….
William Regal powers out.

Kane picks William Regal up and hits a big Throat Thrust. This rocks Regal. Kane runs at William Regal but Regal kicks Kane in the knee which brings Kane down to one knee. William Regal then takes advantage of that hitting Kane with a big European Uppercut that takes Kane down. William goes in for the pinfall.

Kane quickly powers out.

William Regal then hits a knee drop to Kane who is still down. Kane however sits up and grabs Regal by the neck. It is clear that Kane is trying for a chokeslam but William Regal manages to get out of it poking Kane in the eye. William Regal then swings of the neck breaker. William Regal then tries to pin Kane once more.

Kane gets the shoulder up at 1.

William Regal can see that he isn’t having any look trying to pin Kane and therefore asks the referee to open the door. The referee does so and Regal makes his way towards the door. Kane however trips Regal over and Regal hits his face on the ropes. Kane then hits a backbreaker to William Regal turning the match in his favor. Kane then climbs to the top rope and hits a flying clothesline to Regal but Regal moves out the way. Kane however manages to stay on his feet. Kane blocks a shot from Regal and then Kane chucks Regal face first into the Steel Cage. Kane then goes in for a pinfall on Regal.

No! Regal just gets up.

Kane looks like he is ready to finish it. He stalks waiting for William Regal to get up. Regal gets up and Kane hits the chokeslam. Kane then picks up Regal and tombstones him for the cover.

Winner: Kane

We then see the brackets on the screen and we see that next week it will be Kane vs. Mark Henry. We then hear Mark Henry’s music however we don’t see him and the music goes off. Kane then goes to walk up the ramp but when he gets to the top of the ramp, Henry is behind the curtain and waiting for Kane. Mark Henry then smacks Kane in the head with the Steel Chair. Jeff Hardy comes running out and chases Mark Henry away. Jeff Hardy then checks on Kane as we go backstage.

Backstage we see Christian standing in the locker room with Tommy Dreamer. Both men are congratulating each other on the excellent match they had last week. Tommy Dreamer then tells Christian that he will be in his corner tonight against The Big Show. We then see a shot of the door and behind the door we see Big Show listening with a smile and we go to commercial break.

Match 3: Mark Henry vs. Jeff Hardy
The match starts with both men in the ring. Hardy runs at Mark Henry but Mark goes into the ropes making it so the referee has to get Jeff Hardy of him. Henry comes out of the corner and Hardy once again runs full steam ahead at Henry and Henry once more goes into the ropes. Henry then leaves the ring and gets a microphone. Mark Henry says that he is in the semi finals for the Championship Tournament and he doesn’t need Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy then goes to leave the ring and fight Henry on the outside but then we see Matt Hardy run out and he uses all his remaining strength to throw Henry back into the ring. Hardy then exits through the crowd. Mark Henry gets up and Jeff Hardy hits the Twist of fate and goes in for the pinfall.

No! Henry kicks out

Everyone is shocked that Henry kicked out of the Twist of Fate even the referee. Jeff Hardy then goes to the top rope but Mark Henry just pushes Hardy of the ropes and Jeff Hardy hits his back against the hard floor. Mark Henry then goes outside. Mark Henry then picks Jeff Hardy up and throws him into the steel steps. The referee is carrying on the count but Mark Henry couldn’t care less.

Mark Henry then picks Jeff Hardy up and hits him with the World’s Strongest Slam on top of the steel steps. We then hear the bell ring and the referee says that both men are counted out. Mark Henry then grabs Jeff Hardy by the hair and takes him over to the announce table. Mark Henry then clears the announce table and puts Jeff Hardy through it with another Worlds Strongest Slam.
Winner: Double Countout.

After the match, Mark Henry is in the ring and he has a microphone. He tells everyone to look at Jeff Hardy. The camera then goes to see Jeff Hardy layed out on the broken table. Medics are attending to the fallen and injured Hardy. He then says that 2009 will be the year of Henry and his dominance. Mark Henry then tells everyone to take a look at a video he has made. The video comes on the screen and it is his knew TitanTron. It shows him knocking out Bobby Lashley, Destroying Matt Hardy, Smashing Kane with a Steel Chair and then the replay of him destroying Jeff Hardy. Mark Henry then begins to tell us about how he is going to win the Championship Tournament when the lights go out. They come back on and Kane is standing behind Henry. Mark Henry turns around and then Kane punches Mark Henry but Mark rolls out the ring and retreats up the ramp. We then go to commercial.

Match 4: The Sandman vs. Sabu in a Steel Cage Championship Tournament Match.
The bell rings as the Cage came down in the Commercial Break. The Sandman and Sabu shake hands as both have respect for each other. They lock up and The Sandman powers Sabu of into the corner. The Sandman then gets Sabu in a head lock before taking him down. Sabu springs him off the ropes and Sabu dropkicks the Sandman into the Steel Cage. He then quickly hits an Arabian Piledriver that quickly takes The Sandman down. Sabu goes for the quick cover.

Sandman kicks out.

Sabu then asks for a Steel Chair to be thrown into the ring. The camera man, Michael Jefferson throws a Steel Chair into the ring without question. The Sandman then asks for his Kendo Stick. Michael Jefferson gives The Sandman the Kendo Stick. This brings Mick Foley to ringside. Mick Foley says that since this is ECW… “Load the cage.” The wrestlers then look shocked but suddenly the cage fills with weapons. Referees bring trash cans and other weapons and place them around the ring in between the ropes and the cage. Sabu picks up a chair and The Sandman picks up a Kendo Stick. Sandman then smacks the Kendo stick of the head of Sabu. Sabu falls down and Sandman goes in for the pinfall.

Sabu kicks out.

The Sandman starts hitting Sabu everywhere with the Kendo Stick. He has shots for the back of Sabu. He has shots for the midsection of Sabu. Everywhere. The back. The midsection. The Head. Sandman then picked up a trash can and smashes it over the head of Sabu. He then places the bent can over the head of Sabu and then starts smashing the trashcan with the signature Kendo Stick. He then pins Sabu.

No! Sabu just manages to kick out.

The Sandman then sets up a table in the corner but as he is by the table setting it up in the Corner, Sabu hits him with the Arabian Facebuster sending the sandman face first into the table. Sabu drags him out and pins.

3….
Winner: Sabu

After the match, the cage rises and Sabu shakes hands with The Sandman. Sabu then goes to the outside to look at the ECW Championship. He then hits his signature pose as we get a look at the brackets. We see that next week it will be Kane vs. Mark Henry and Sabu vs. The winner of the next match.

We then go backstage and we see Christian and Mick Foley. Mick wishes Christian the best of luck in his match but then he hears arguing and he leaves Christians locker room. He sees Big Daddy V and Rhyno arguing. Mick Foley then says that next week it will be Big Daddy V vs. Rhyno in a one on one contest. We then go to commercial.

Match 5: The Big Show vs. Christian in a Steel Cage Championship Tournament Match.
Before the bell rings, Sabu comes out to the ring to see who he will be facing next week on ECW’s programming. The Big Show just smiles at Christian inside the Steel Cage. For whatever reason the weapons are still in the ring from the last bout. That doesn’t make much sense and the commentators point that out but the referee however rings the bell anyway starting the match.

As the bell rings Christian starts circling the ring clapping trying to get the crowd behind him to get himself into the match and motivated. Big Show stalks him into the corner trying to strike him but Christian runs out going under the Big Show. Big Show then tries again. Christian tries to run again but gets caught by Show. Big Show then hits a massive chop to the chest of Christian. Big Show then takes Christian down with a clothesline. Big Show then gets a steel chair from the side and goes to smack Christian when he gets up but Christian moves and Big Show hits the turnbuckle. The chair bounces of the turnbuckle and back into the face of Big Show that rocks him. Christian then hits a massive dropkick to Big Show which takes him down to one knee. Christian then kicks Big Show in the head and goes in for the pinfall quickly trying to end the match.

No! Big Show kicks out quite easily.

Christian is wise. He knows he has to stay on Big Show to win so he grabs the steel chair that Big Show introduced and goes to whack Big Show but Show just punches the chair knocking the chair out of the hands of Christian. Big Show then grabs Christian by the head and throws him at the wall of the steel cage. Big Show then gets a massive boot up and plants it in the face of Christian taking Christian down. Instead of pinning, Big Show wants to embarrass and use Christian for his own sick pleasure so Big Show doesn’t even attempt to pin. Big Show instead goes to the top rope. He then comes crashing down with a massive elbow but he realizes it to be a mistake as Christian moves out the way. With Big Show down, Christian capitalizes as he tries to climb the cage as escaping the cage can win you the match and let you advance. Big Show gets up and pulls Christian off the wall of the Cage and Christian hits his head on the mat. Hard. Big Show then puts his foot on the chest of Christian.

Big Show takes his foot off.

It is clear that Big Show wants to punish Christian in the cage. Big Show picks Christian up and hits a massive headbutt knocking Christian straight back down to the mat. Big Show then once again picks Christian up and hits a massive sidewalk slam on Christian that once again takes Christian down. Big Show then does his signature pose before hitting the Weapon of Mass Destruction. When Christian finally gets up, Big Show gets ready to hit the move but luckily Christian moves out the way avoiding the move. Christian then goes over by the side of the ring, Big Show runs at him but he is met by Christian with a massive led pipe to the gut of Show. Christian then dives of the top rope with a led pipe to the head of Show. Show falls down and Christian pins.

Christian looks shocked as Big Show kicks out.

Big Show is down but Christian still goes relentless with the led pipe however on the third shot, Show grabs the pipe and then it becomes a test of strength. Big Show wins and throws the pipe over the other side of the ring but Christian still hanging on goes with it. Christian then goes head first into the steel cage. Big Show then gets up and goes over with the pipe. Big Show wedges the pipe between two turnbuckles… Big Show then throws Christian shoulder first into the pipe that is in the steel cage. Big Show then staggers over to make a pinfall.

Not quite yet! Christian kicks out.

Christian just will not quit and Big Show is angry about that. Big Show then makes his way towards the door. He orders the referee to open the door. The referee then does. Big Show goes to walk out but Christian smashes Big Show in the head with a trash can. Big Show then drops to his knees. Christian then puts the trash can over the head of Big Show. Christian then goes to the top rope and drop kicks Big Show with the trashcan on his head. This still doesn’t take Big Show down. Christian takes the trash can of the head of show and Show has started to bleed from the ear. Christian then goes to the corner and waits for Big Show to get up. Big Show gets up and Christian runs at Big Show with all his strength and speed to finally deliver an earth shaking Spear to the Big Show.

No! Big Show powers out.

Christian then starts getting angry pounding the mat. The crowd is roaring for Christian chanting “CAPTAIN CHARISMA.” The sound of the crowd eggs Christian on and Christian goes for the Killswhich on The Big Show but Big Show is to strong and powers Christian off. Big Show then grabs Christian and applies the Abdominal Stretch. Big Show then let’s go of the hold. He then gets a Kendo Stick from the corner and starts wailing on Christian. Big Show then picks Christian up by the neck and suddenly… Chokeslam! Big Show pins.

No! Unbelievably Christian powers out.

Big Show is raging. He is arguing with the referee trying to intimidate him. Big Show is shouting and screaming at the referee saying it was a three count. The referee keeps repeating two. We then see Christian in the corner and he is climbing the cage and Big Show doesn’t realize. Big Show finally turns around and sees Christian. The race against time is on. Big Show climbs up the ropes and finally gets Christian. Big Show then hits the Weapon of Mass Destruction. Christian then lays on the trusts of the cage at the top. Big Show then grabs Christian and chokeslams him from the top of the cage down to the ring. Big Show then climbs down from the top rope and pins Christian.

Winner = Big Show

After the match we see on the screen the brackets. We see that next week it will be Big Show vs. Sabu and Kane vs. Mark Henry. Sabu then comes to the top of the ramp and hits his signature pose. Sabu shows he is ready to fight next week as ECW goes off the air.

Christian runs at him but then gets nailed with a clothesline onto the chair.

Dreamer then takes control with many different chair shots to Christian. He hits him over 20 times. Dreamer then quickly hits Christian with a massive DDT. Dreamer then chucks Christian onto a table, Dreamer goes to smash him in the head with a chair also sending him through but Christian screams “I QUIT.” Tommy Dreamer then drops the chair winning.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer

After the match, Dreamer and the referee help Christian to his feet. Christian and Dreamer shake hands and hugs. Dreamer then celebrates as Christian claps in the back ground but then we suddenly see a look of anger and disgust in the face of Christian. Christian then smashes Dreamer in the back of the head with a pipe. He then hits Dreamer with a Killswitch before walking off. A referee and medics then attend to Tommy.

We go back to the ringside and we see the commentators Tazz and Joey Styles confused on what happened. They then say that Dreamer has now got a guaranteed ECW Championship shot and we are about to find out who against in Kane vs. Big Show – Last Man Standing!

Match 5: Big Show vs. Kane in a Last Man Standing Match for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship

Before the bell even rings Big Show and Kane just stare at each other right in the middle of the ring. They stand head to head, eye to eye in the middle of the ring. The referee gets in between the two men but is scared of by the two giants… The referee just legs out of the ring. Show and Kane start pushing each other as the referee gets back in the ring. The referee rings the bell and the match officially begins.

Big Show quickly throws a punch at Kane but Kane ducks the fist. Show goes for another punch but Kane grabs the arm of Show and chucks a fist of his own. Kane carries on chucking big fists at Show and then delivers a huge kick to the mid section that rocks Big Show. Kane then goes to chuck Big Show into the other corner but he gets blocked by Show. Show then throws Kane into the corner. Show runs in to try and hit some sort of splash on Kane but Kane gets the big boot up and right into Big Show’s face. Kane runs at Show coming out of the corner but he gets knocked down with a huge clothesline. Kane gets up, he runs at Show but Big Show just pulls down the rope and that sends Kane to the outside. This of cause makes Kane angry and he starts chucking Steel Chairs into the ring with Big Show trying to dodge them. Kane then gets back in the ring.

Big Show picks up a steel chair as does Kane. Big Show and Kane both have steel chairs in their hands. They start using their chairs as swords. They start going at it swinging and clashing their chairs. Kane smashes a chair into the guts of Big Show. He then crashes it of the back. Big Show gets knocked down by Kane. The referee goes in to count him down.

Big Show gets up.

Kane then smashes the steel chair of Big Show’s head again. With Show not going down, Kane comes off the ropes running at Big Show but Show just punches the chair and it blows of the face of Kane knocking him down. Big Show then picks Kane up and sends him off into the corner. He hits him with a massive chop. Big Show then splashes onto Kane. Kane staggers out of the corner and Big Show applies a bear hug to Kane however Kane rakes the eyes of Show. Kane takes advantage of this as he goes to the top rope. He comes down and hits a flying clothesline to the Big Show and that takes Show down. Kane then comes off the ropes smashing Show right in the face with a drop kick. Big Show gets up and Kane grabs Big Show and attempts for a chokeslam. Big Show however tries to chokeslam Kane as well and then they stumble over the top rope and out to the floor. With both men down on the floor the referee begins to count them down.

Kane gets up but the count continues for Big Show

Big Show gets up.

Kane goes under the ring and he finds a fire extinguisher. Kane then lets the fire extinguisher go out and it goes right in the face of Big Show and it appears to blind him as he stumbles around by the announce table. Kane dives at Big Show and both men go over the announce table. Joey Styles and Tazz only just manage to get out the way but as Tazz is moving, the announce table gets knocked off balance and it falls on top of the monsters. The referee quickly runs over to check on both men but then he starts to count.

Both monsters get up to their feet after using both of their strengths to lift up the announce table and chuck it over.

Kane gets out of the way and goes under the ring, he finds a trash can he gets it out and when he turns around Big Show has got a microphone and he just bangs it off the head of Kane. This rocks Kane but not as much as when Big Show chucks Kane into the ring post and Kane falls down. Big Show grabs the trash can and waits for Kane to get up. Kane gets up and Big Show goes to whack Kane with the trash can but Kane dropkicks the knee of Show and Show falls down face first into the trash can. The referee then counts him down as Kane recovers.

Big Show gets to his feet.

When Big Show gets to his feet he is met with a shot from what appears to be some sort of wrench to the knee. Kane then sets up a table ringside. He walks around to the other side of the ring and he gets out an orange can. He then pours the liquid over the table. The commentators tell us that they can smell petrol. Kane then gets a box of matches but Big Show smacks them out of the hand of Kane. Kane then turns around and Big Show spears him into the Steel Steps ringside. Big Show then looks at the table. Show goes over to the table and looks for the matches. He finds the box and he lights the table on fire. Event officials quickly rush onto the scean to try and keep the front row as back as they can from the fire. Kane goes over to the Big Show.. Kane goes to chokeslam Big Show into the burning table but fails to do so. Show however then chokeslams Kane into the burning fire… Kane quickly gets put out by the referee who sees the fire extinguisher in the ring that was used in the bout earlier.. Big Show however then hits Kane with a Knockout blow.
