Entrance Music Improvements

Getting Noticed By Management
Seeing that there was a thread made recently that was specifically about the music of Gallows and Anderson, I felt this thread was necessary to make. Besides Gallows and Anderson, there are others that have either bad or unfitting entrance music. When Gallows and Anderson came to WWE, we were all excited and shit, but then when we heard their entrance music, that's when myself and others began to complain. One person here said that it sounds like a garage band who lost their lead baritone and replaced them with a coked up Jericho.

Gallows and Anderson need something powerful, menacing and oppresive like names such as The Shield, Demolition, Goldberg, Hawk and Animal, and Vader had, like Mark Henry has now, and what Brock Lesnar has now. A song that you hear and it instantly makes you say "someone's about to get fucked up". Something along the lines of this would be great.

Someone else in WWE that has bad entrance music is Cesaro. And I will admit that the thing I miss the most about Cesaro being out with that injury is not having to hear that awful entrance music of his. Seeing that he has this new James Bond kind of thing going on in his entrance, he needs something to go with that and then when he rips all of that off, the music can then switch into this awesome riffage kind of thing. Something along the lines of this would be pretty cool if set to the tone of this.

And the final person whose music I dislike, AJ Styles. The organ intro is cool but but the rest of it is just too mellow for my taste and doesn't fit his personality at all. Something like this would work well for him.

I agree 100% with AJ Styles, nice opening organ, then it turns to crap. When I first heard it at The Rumble it sounded god awful, I thought I'd just get used to it. Nah, it still sucks.

Another person that seriously needs an entrance music change is Roman Reigns. They finally got rid of the Shield entrance; now they need to get rid of the music. He needs to have a more badass song to come out to.

I feel like AJ's is okay. You can't have a basic instrumental for him, it works for him. But I do hate Cesaro and it should change.

Cesaro: Scroobius Pip - Gold Teeth

Reigns: Lupe Fiasco - Put You On Game

Anderson & Gallows: Iron & Wine - Wolves (Song of the Shepherd's Dog)

AJ Styles: Rise Against - Satellite or Re-Education (Through Labor) or Survivor Guilt

They might need to be edited a bit, especially for language, but Styles' current song is a remix of a DMX song; so it isn't an unreasonable expectation if they aren't perfect in their original forms.

Reigns: Lupe Fiasco - Put You On Game

Huh? I'm a Lupe fan and that's a great song, but it's way too slow and lacks the impact for a guy like Reigns. It just doesn't fit him at all IMO.

I personally don't mind AJ's or the Bullet Club's songs. The former has especially grown on me. Cesaro is probably the most egregious offender in the music department. Instead of giving him a brand new song, though, they could easily switch back to that Swiss rap song he had back in 2012. The suave melody of that song fits the Bond theme better – especially since it's actually a remix of Dean Malenko's Bond-esque music from 2000. Look both up both songs on YouTube and see for yourself.

Seth Rollins is another guy with terrible music. If he can't get an entirely different song, he needs to at least go back to the original version of his current theme:

It's a small addition, but that additional layer of guitar squeals does wonders for making the song sound a lot more menacing than the diet version he uses now. I remember WWE brought it back briefly last year only to ditch it again for some reason and it drove me nuts.

Music I think can make or break the character just as much as anything else. For example when that glass shatters and that guitar riff kicks in you know who's coming and you know somebody is in for an asskicking from Steve Austin, if they had given him some kind of generic techno intro or a bad porn guitar track, I don't think Stone Cold would have worked as well as it did.

I'm surprised that when they started this whole "we are an entertainment corporation kick" and started getting into movies and restaurants that they didn't start a music label as well. Granted I'd prefer they keep their focus on wrestling but it would certainly make sense. Youd have a constant growing catalog of music at your disposable for PPV themes, entrance themes and other things. From an artist perspective it's constant and easy promotion of your work if you've got somebody coming out to your song on a weekly basis. I'm not saying WWE needs their fingers in everything but it makes as much sense as having a film division.

John Cena could use new entrance music. When he comes back, he should have a Heel turn and lead a Stable. He should form a Tag Team with R-Truth and they can perform their entrance music together.

Your time is up, OUR time is now. What's up!? You can't see US, my TEAM is now!! What's up!?

I think it's highly unlikely Cena will ever change his entrance theme, it's too synonymous with him now. Just like Vince telling Chris Jericho that he wasn't able to change his music to Avenged Sevenfold's 'Nightmare', because 'Break The Walls Down' was too established as his theme, I don't expect Cena to change his music.

He may update his theme slightly, like Rock and Austin have done, but I think it's always likely to stay pretty similar to what it is now.

If Kofi leaves the New Day...

So on and so forth. Ok maybe not. But booty-O's ain't a good catchphrase either.
