Best Territory during the 80's

Living in Kentucky, I grew up watching the small town territories during the 80's and some of the 90's. Among those I watched on a regular basis were USWA/CWA/Memphis, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, Florida Championship Wrestling, and ECW (BEFORE the deal with TNN, it was only broadcast in a handful of markets).

I want to make this thread and poll to get some thoughts and comments on what was considered the ultimate small territory to watch? Thoughts and comments.

ECW and SMW was the 90's

Mid South take this one easily and it definitely the most influential territory ever. Set the template for ECW and WWF Attitude era. And am not talking about profanity or hardcore wrestling.

Memphis, is the second best.
