Off the cuff observations. Ed Lewis is going out round one and it is disgusting. WCW is where almost all the interesting matches are happening. Most competitive first round match for me is Gotch vs Benoit; not that I have the slightest chance, but it'll be the most clear cut case of me being right and everyone else being ******ed. Maybe I can tap into the whole 'murder suicide' thing, bring a little class to the debate. Oh, and Antonio Rocca is a better wrestler than Brock Lesnar using every conceivable yardstick that there is.

Bit surprised that you didn't have Fit in your list, I've always had you pegged as someone who'd appreciate his style.

No Roode sucks. I will now put all my effort into getting Bully Ray over HHH. Who is with me?

Please, sir! Me, sir!

Ray is better as a heel but he is plenty capable of being a good face as well. He knows how to work the crowd better than practically anyone and that is all that matters.

Please, sir! Me, sir!

You are in. Recruit others, preferably with a longer attention span than I have. In spite of any rules to the contrary I will be arguing as if Dvon and Booby Roode get to do run ins on the behalf of Bubba.

He can take a sledgehammer easily. There goes half of HHH's offense. I assume his gut provides some cushion to lessen the blow of the pedigree. There goes the other half since if HHH tries a spinebuster he will probably injure himself.

They had a long match on Raw once for the title. I can't remember how specifically but HHH had problems with him.

Bubba's never been a strong worker. Other than putting people through tables, his ring work was basically subpar. Triple H is a power technician. I could imagine that if the guy working with him sucked donkey ass at giving and taking basic moves, that could cause a problem.

20 years of him being consistantly over and generating great crowd reaction to his matches?

Your argument showing that he isn't? Not enough suplexes?

Just that he wasn't all that over as a singles worker in 02. Thus why the first chance to put the Dudleys back together was taken. If he was that over as a singles, I'd guess he would have stayed singles. His work as Bully Ray has been very solid though, but back in his singles WWE run, he left plenty to be desired.

This may be the most star studded first round of the tournament that i've ever seen. All of these guys could have been booked as believable world champs in their prime except for Dragon and valentine. Brisco vs Graham looks particularly captivating though

Does that mean you will be voting for DDP over Valentine? The Hammer definitely deserves to advance to the second round.

Bubba as a tag team specialist, great. I've never liked him singles wise, but that's an opinion. He could work strongly in tag teams though, that's for damn sure.

I'm still confused as to how Gorgeous George, arguably one of the most important men pro wrestling history, isn't on this list.

The accurate answer is because people suck; although I've rather come to the conclusion that Gorgeous George wasn't one tenth as important as some people make him out to have been.

And withdrawn due to the person seconding it having absolutely no argument credibility.

I utterly resent the implication that I lack the credibility to negate Shattered Dreams.
