I am going to have to go with Jimmy hendrix Hand's down. How could anybody not vote for the legend of Rock. His Music Style Is without a doubt the best kind ever. He paved the way for many aspiring artist's and is a big part of The history of Rock. Also sadly the other reason i am voting for Hendrix is Becouse i havent Ever seen or heard of Cream. They don't sound to serious and Hendrix should not have any contest against them.

Cream are one of those bands that you know the songs, but not the actual band. I could post a Cream song and you'd get it instantly. The problem, probably, is that Eric Clapton is bigger as a singles star. And because he's still breathing. They're no better or worse than Hendrix. It's just Hendrix's death stopped him making all the shit he probably would have made later in his career, so he finished on a high.
