I really like the idea. I think it would definitely work best for a face though. Del Rio wouldn't get much out of 'saving' the WWE title. Maybe John Morrison comes back at MITB, and gets his Main Event push. Of course, knowing the WWE... Punk will lose and all of this will be a dream.

I think it depends on how they build him. You're right, he's not physically imposing, and doesn't look like he can beat Cena or Orton or Taker in a fair 1 on 1 match.. But if they make him smarter, then it may become believable. They've put him in a perfect position to be built this way, too...
