You Have Control Of The WWE Divas

Vince says that he is giving you full control of the WWE Divas, and the Women's Division in the WWE. He wants you to make them a solid division, and wants it to be more than a piss-break, which it is to some at the moment.

He says money is no object. Take as much as you need. You can bring in anyone from anywhere. You control storylines, and champions.

What would you do?

I would try to lure a few of TNA's knockouts away, most preferably Gail Kim, and the Beautiful People (Impact- It's biggest drawing segments= no more TNA). Maybe ODB, she's got a fanbase out there. Trade a few divas over to SD!/ECW. Release some of the useless ones (Layla, Maryse, Cherry). Victoria deserves to be at least a contender to the championship. Possibly delve into the indy promotions and bring up a couple girls. Finally, lure Molly Holly out of retirement. It's true that outside of her head-shaving angle, she never got over well as a singles star (always far more popular w/ The Hollys and Hurrikane). But she's got solid in-ring skills, and could be of great assistance to some of the younger girls. I wouldn't completely integrate RAW, ECW, and SD!, although I would increase the number of crossover matches with the women, just to help them learn from some experience. Here's how I would see my Women's division:

RAW (also ECW, since apparently they'll be taping with RAW soon)

ODB (could anyone else see her partnering up with MRRRRRRRRR. KENNEDYYYYYYY... KENNEDYYYY???
Candice Michelle (I'm not her biggest fan, but she's one of the best known women in the business right now, so keep her on the A show)
Ashley Massaro (same as Candice)
Maria (see last two)

Smackdown
Molly Holly
Michelle McCool
Melina (her skills are terribly overrated)
Kelly Kelly (she's shown improvement and a desire to better herself, and keeping her around someone like Molly could only do her good)
Nattie Neidhart (haven't seen enough of her yet to know if she's good enough for the A-show)
Angelina Love (she's been holding up Impact's ratings, maybe she'd help SD! as well)
Velvet Sky (the same)
Jillian Hall (she's half-decent in the ring, and usually gets a good reaction from the crowd)

Release some of the useless ones (Layla, Maryse, Cherry).

Keep Layla. She says she wants to become better.

Maryse, yeah she dosen't seem that great. Allthough, there is always hope. Send her down to FCW for a while.

Cherry is a proven, quality wrestler from the indy scene, plus a HUGE babyface right now.

1. Move every Diva to Smackdown.

2. Stop doing segments like dance-offs, especially when it serves no purpose, nor is it booked in a different way than normal.

3. Get rid of the "favorite Diva of the month" mentality. Maria received tons of wins, then its all Mickie, etc.

4. Don't kid yourselves/your audience. The Divas are NOT as talented, in general, than the male wrestlers, no matter how many times you run that damn Leila Milani ad. Let people cheer for them, but don't act like you don't know that the audience sees them as a glorified piss break.

5. Give the women personalities. They're too generic. Either you're a sweet girl and a face, or you're a bitchy heel. That's it. They're indistinguishable from one another. Natalya is a big girl and tough, so is Beth. Mickie is a spunky "good girl", so is Candice, so is Michelle, so is Kelly, so is......etc etc etc. Perhaps the only thing about TNA that I like is how their women have actual gimmicks and personalities (for the most part, as Gail Kim doesn't really have any gimmick).

6. Teach these girls how to perform a punch instead of that drawn out and weak looking forearm to the face. Teach them how to perform a true clothesline instead of the weak looking "jump & pull down" version. Get these freaking girls away from the BULLDOG for God's sake lol damn near every single one of them uses it as a primary move. And get them to stop doing that totally fake and over-performed generic grunt that they all do when any attack is done against them. A kick to the gut = "OOUGH!" as if they just got shot, despite how we can all clearly see that the chick completely missed the kick in the first place lol.


I think that's enough for now. I'm on my 28th hour without sleep, so I think I earned a break lol.

1.) Get rid of the dead weight, that means I'm handing pink slips to Ashley, Maria and Kelly. I'm not going to waste time waiting for these girls to get trained when I can replace them with talent that already know the ropes

Then I will reevaluate the remaining women on the roster. After my evaluation, I will also be handing pink slips to Victoria and Candice Michelle. One is injury prone and the other is past her prime and easily replaceable.

I will move Layla into a permanent valet position. Katie Lea, Cherry, and Maryse will be used both as wrestlers and valets (the latter 2 will be mostly used as valets). I will keep Eve Torres, Lena Yada, and Lillian Garcia in their current positions.

That leaves me with 7 women on the active roster

2.) I will quickly and swiftly try to sway the following talent to join my division

That puts me up to 14 women on the active roster

3.) Since ECW and RAW will be taped at the same time, I will make it so that women on the RAW roster can have matches on both shows

I move the following women to RAW/ ECW

Beth Phoenix - Face (dropping the shitty Glamazon gimmick)

Mickie James - Face

I will move the following women to Smackdown

Angel Williams - Tweener
Melina - Heel
Michelle McCool - Face

I keep the Women's Championship on RAW/ ECW, but at the same time I will create a Title for the women on Smackdown, like a Women's Intercontinental Title

4.) On RAW, The Following women would be in the title picture

Awesome Kong
Sarah Stock
Beth Phoenix
Vanessa Kraven
Jillian Hall

I would give the title to someone already established, like Beth Phoenix. From their I would Bring Sarah Stock and Awesome Kong into the title picture. Kong would probably be my next pick as the champion. I would give Kong some dominating wins before bringing in both Beth Phoenix and Vanessa Kraven to feud with her. In reality Kong would prove to be too strong for Beth to handle, but she would match up rather nicely with Kraven. I'm sure the prospect of a female monster vs female monster match could turn a few heads and generate some money. After a few matches with the two Behemoths going at it, I would bring Beth back into the title hunt. I would work an angle similar to the one used with the Goldberg/Kane/HHH feud, with beth eventually outsmarting the two monster heels to get her title back. Sarah Stock would be the next contender for the title. Jillian Hall would also be thrown into a title match every once in awhile, but I think a side feud between her and Gail Kim would benefit her better.

I would keep Mickie James out of the title picture for a while. Instead I would try and create a long standing feud between her and Cheerleader Melissa. I think Mickie's in ring work would benefit greatly from taking lessons and practicing with Melissa.

On Smackdown the following women would be in the title picture

Angel Williams
ODB
Melina

All three of these have proven themselves a popular draw. A twist thrown in would be to make Angel Williams a tweener, as she silently tries to sabotage and manipulate her way to the title.

I would create a side feud between Nattie Neidhart and Michelle McCool, has McCool could benefit greatly from working with Neidhart.

Katie Lea would be used when needed.

5.) Get rid of the worthless divas search. I figure if Vince wants attractive women to advertise the division, why not use the talent that would already exist?

The ratings are taking, its mainly loyal old schoolers who hate the state of the WWE, but stick with it anyway, and the kiddies, who wants to see Cena and Rey Mysterio.

The divas divison is crap because its just tits and ass. And before anyone starts with "well, so and so can wrestle, the USA is nothing like Japan. Unless its a small fed with a hardcore fanbase(like ROH), womens wrestling has never been and probabaly never be popular.

Yes Impact has been getting good ratings for its Womens Division, but what does that say about the state of TNA?

I feel sorry for Awesome Kong as she is an absolute monster, who could probabaly kick half the guys asses if she wanted to.
