January 1, 2007
ARCO Arena
Los Angles, California
15, 000 in attendance

A video package plays, showing the destruction of the WWE and TNA by XWE. It shows how the best and brightest stars of both of these shows joined the XWE company. It also shows the humble beginnings of XWE, and how it became huge. As the camera pans around the arena, we can see the people at the ARCO arena going wild.

JR: Welcome everybody to Monday Night Meltdown, The premier show of XWE, Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment.
King: And what a show we have tonight.
JR: We have three stops before our January PPV, New Year’s Bash, and I can’t wait for that PPV, with its huge 15 man battle royal!
King: Lets worry about tonight’s Meltdown first, and what a Meltdown it is going to be. We have a title match, and a match for #1 contendership for the Showstopper title.
JR: But first, Kane has something to say.

Kane’s music hits.

King: Here he is now.

Kane comes to the ring, and Lillian Garcia is already there.

Chimel: Please Welcome, the Big Red Machine, Kane!

Kane rips the microphone out of his hands. A “Kane” chant is started by the fans. When he came out, he got a huge pop from the crowd.

Kane: Shut up! I don’t need you stupid chants, what I need is a title!

Crowd boos when Kane told them to shut up.

Kane: Now tonight, I have a non title match with Abyss, and it is my perfect chance to prove myself enough for a title shot. Now I have something to say about Abyss. He is nothing but a cheap knock off. Look at Mankind.

A picture of Mankind appears on the TitanTron when Kane gestures to it.

Kane: Now look at Abyss

Now a picture of Abyss appears, right next to the picture of Mankind.

Kane: See the family resemblance? That’s why I say Mankind should join me in destroying Abyss. We can even share the Hardcore title! I don’t care, anything for us to annihilate the rip off that is Abyss.

Mankind’s music hits.

JR: He’s here! Mankind’s here! What will happen now?

Mankind comes to the ring. Kane offers him the microphone and he takes it.

Mankind: You’re completely right. Abyss is using me. And I don’t like it when people use me. I mean, Mr. Socko and I don’t like it when people use us.

Huge pop from crowd when Mankind puts on Mr. Socko.

Mankind: Now, lets get him together, Kane.

They head out to backstage, Suddenly, Abyss’s music hits, and the crowd goes wild.

JR: It’s the monster Abyss! He’s here!

James Mitchell comes out with Abyss. Half the crowd cheers, half the crowed boos. Abyss knocks Mankind over the head with the Hardcore title. Then Mitchell speaks to Abyss.

Mitchell: Abyss, doomsday Now!
JR: He’s hit the detonation device!
King: Oh my god!

Abyss hits a Black Hole Slam on Kane. He then leans down to say something to Mankind, Suddenly; Mankind sticks his hand down Abyss’s throat, with the Mandible Claw.

JR: Mandible Claw!
King: That has to be the most disgusting move in wrestling, along with the Stink Face.

Mankind won’t let Abyss go. Mitchell slams Mankind over the head with a chair, then Abyss and Mitchell leave together.

JR: What an amazing turn of events! We’ll have out first match after these messages.

Commercial Break

Back from the break, we see Abyss and James Mitchell in General Manager Eric Bichoff’s office.

Mitchell: I can’t believe this! The Hardcore Champion should not be treated in this way! Bichoff: Listen, I know. I also know you want to put Kane and Mankind out of business; it would be in a Hardcore match.
Mitchell: Of course!
Bichoff: But the only way we can have Hardcore match is too have the hardcore title on the line so that’s what we’re going to do. Next week, it will be Abyss vs Kane in a hardcore match for the Hardcore title. But you’re going to win, right?

Bichoff slams the door in their faces. As we hear him chuckling, Eric Young’s music hits.

Chimel: Our first match is to determine who will be the #1 contender for the Showstopper title, and will be contested under one fall rules. The first competitor, now residing in an undisclosed location, weighing in at 225 pounds, Eric Young!
A “Don’t Fire Eric” chant is started by the fans.

JR: I love this kid’s style, I hope he wins tonight’s match.
King: Remember, we’re supposed to be objective.
Chimel: And his opponent, from the deep blue sea, weighing 180 pounds Shark Boy.

He comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.

JR: Shark Boy is a cult favorite here on XWE
King: He sure is Ross

Petey extends his hand Shark Boy takes it, Petey kicks him in the gut, and nails a Canadian Destroyer. He stands over Shark Boy with his title in his hand, as the crowd boos him.

There has to be something on the line in a real main event match. So I have an idea. I will let the winner of this match take me on next week for my Universal title. What do you say, Bichoff?

Bichoff comes out yet again.

Bichoff: I accept. I mean, you are the Universal Champion. You can do anything you want.

Abyss vs Kane in a Monster ball

Remember please review!

Overall I thought it was a pretty good show, good ideas, well writen, I will read the next show if you have one, on another note, we both seem to be having the same problem, with nobody reviewing our show's so I would love for you to return the favor and review my show, it's called Showtyme style wrestlemaina recap and raw#1, if yoiu do decide to read it thanks.

I think there was a good balance of match types...

however

you under used an already under an used roster... both WWE and TNA both have great guys and instead of having matches that would make great TV you gave us what we've already seen (Taker/Angle and Sharkboy/Williams) or what you think we wanted to see (Kane/Abyss) so I give it a 6.5 outta 10... I would of given you a little more if I had seen more backstage wrestler interaction instead of GM/Wrestler interaction... just MHO...
