WZCW Discussion Thread

you kids with your school.

I woke up at noon and watch MLP and Macho Madness.

Futurama & Supernatural were in there too

Well it's actually Saturday already where I'm at. Been an awesome Saturday. Had an awesome lunch with the lady friend and some friends and are now playing some NBA 2K12.

YES! YES! YES!

Kidding. Anyways, I hope Toonami comes back for real. It was a great April Fool's Day prank & all, but my heart just wouldn't be able to take it if it was just that.

So I just jumped in and read this rather ridiculous idea about "WZNXT"? Sorry, but I see no real point to that idea. If you want mentorship ask a veteran member for help or ask for feedback. You develop no matter who your opponent is here and earn your spots as you improve. If you don't believe me, ask your Eltie X Champion. No real point to the idea.

This is a good idea. I'd be willing to bet that after KC there's going to be some higher card guys who might be willing to pair up with some newer dudes in a tag team. If you want some help, consider asking some of them.

Whoa KJ, I just realized that your character's sample pic is Chris Sabin, yeah? Well mine's Shelley. Future tag team right there? Haha.

WZNXT? Lol... why would we need that when we already have the largest and most solid tag team division in years? Maybe if we had no tag teams and a lot of struggling guys on the roster but now? You guys make me laugh sometimes.

On a completely unrelated note, we are installing a separate federation called Pony Championship Wrestling for everyone to RP as their favourite character but in pony form!

It'll most likely never happen but seeing WZNXT or something like that would be pretty cool,
Would never happen. We'd make it much better if it we did.
You would be a season 6 type of pro, not quite ready for season 1 ;)
He's a champion, would be as viable if not moreso than Baller :D
It wouldn't necessarily have to follow the exact NXT structure; meaning you wouldn't need X complete newbies; you could just take anybody who struggles to link two wins together and pair them up with a top guy as a kind of protracted mentored scheme - let the people who need it learn from the vets and all that.

Don't know why I'm pitching ideas; I abhor this concept.
Me too
Robbie Blooze no showed.
Robbie Blooze is going to get cut if it happens again.
Eh, still call dibs. It's in Harthan & Ty's hands now.
Technically it's mine and Ty's. See, the boldness? Ty's Meh said it all.

Exactly. Great post.

Pancake and I have shown it can work. No one told me as such but I think the guys upstairs thought I was a bit mental for deciding to tag with someone so new.

I'm not against an NXT idea in the fed, but like it's already been said, there isn't need for one. Numbers and Pancake are a great example of why; you get better the more you RP, and you learn from the RP's around you.

I've read a helluva lot of RP's since joining, and a little bit before, just to try and get a grasp on styles, lengths, general content, etc. And I know I've got better just by doing that. I still think I'm not that good, but I'm better. Besides, I would say that Aftershock does NXT's job at the moment, and it's doing it pretty well.

The issue I have with the idea (amongst many), is that all of the resolutions for the storylines that were created would all end the same way. For example, if I was paired up with someone like Darren Bull and Matt Tastic was paired up with James Howard, you can bet your ass that we're going to have to face off against our "rookies" at the end of it all.

Numbers has it right, reach out to someone if you want help.
