People Like Me, We Don't Play
We here at WZCW.com have learned that a change has been made to the Elite X Championship match that is scheduled to take place at Ascension 63. Originally Sam Smith was to defend his title against Constantine in a standard, one fall to a finish contest. However, with a history of bad blood between them, both champion and challenger have asked Vance Bateman to make their contest a No Holds Barred match!
With both parties in agreement the Ascension General Manager had this to say:
"The rivalry between Sam Smith and John Constantine is deeply rooted in Ascension's history. It's only fair that such a contest, with so much potential to turn ugly, be given the proper treatment. As such I have agreed with both champion and challenger in this instant and the contest will indeed be a No Holds Barred affair."
