Uncle Sam

Rear Naked Bloke
The two teams with the highest votes move on to the tournament.

Contestants:
1. Strike Force - Tito Santana & Rick Martel
2. The Colons - Carlito and Primo
3. The Nasty Boyz - Brian Knobbs and Jerry Saggs
4. John Cena & Batista
5. The Rock 'n' Sock Connection - The Rock & Mick Foley

People, make sure you note something about Cena and Batista: they were a "team" for all of two weeks. Does that even count as a team? Pick Strike Force, a team with nearly a year of experience together. They've had matches that have lasted longer than the amount of time that Cena and Batista were a team together.

Pick The Rock 'n' Sock over Strike Force. As opposed to a tag team of two basic jobbers, you only have one jobber, and one 7 time WWE Champion. Oh yeah, and Ithink Mick Foley has a few titles as well. Rock 'n' Sock should win easily.

Jobbers? A former world champion and a two time IC champion and a Hall of Famer now qualify as jobbers? I think not sir.

Ever defended tag titles at Wrestlemania? Ever won a world title and held it over a year? Ever headlined major shows that were used as television main events, as in at least 10 times?

I was referring to your example of Santino and Koko.

And note: two matches and a bogus as hell tag title reign means jack shit. They lost to Legacy because they kept fighting. It was to further a singles angle and has a lot to do with why the titles were as much of a joke as they were at the time. Now they're considered a team. Just because they're big singles stars means nothing as far as being a good team.

Are Cena and Batista and Rock and Sock SERIOUSLY beating The Nasty Boyz?

Knobbs and Saggs were former tag team champions who defeated the Hart Foundation. They were a solid championship team in WCW as well. They were main stays of two promotions tag divisions in the late 80's and early 90's, which was the greatest era in pro wrestling history. I understand the Bushwhackers and Beverley Brothers not making this thing, but some love for the Boyz please?

In any event, Strike Force FTW.

For the life of me, I don't get the big deal over the Nasties. They beat the Harts, but that's about it. I just don't get it. Certainly above the Colons, Cena/Batista and maybe Rock/Sock, but probably not.

I'm sure if they were given a few more months together we'd be talking about them as the greatest of all time.
