Unholy Profit Presents - InVasion: A Story Retold

The InVasion storyline was something that had so much promise after the purchase of WCW, but many aspects of it were handled poorly and thus ended up being one big flop. The lack of star power, the weakness shown by The Alliance compared to the WWF's dominance, and other factors were to blame for this. However, history is about to be changed, as this era will be revisited and the story retold. The year, 2001. Shane McMahon has just purchased the WCW, and everything that comes with it, including superstars and the Championships. The McMahon's had plans of running a weekly show dedicated to WCW, but unfortunately the idea was scrapped as Vince had his mind made up that a solo run WCW brand would not succeed. Shane completely disagreed with his father, however, and thought just merging the WCW superstars with the WWF would be a missed opportunity. He would take it upon himself to stand up to his father, and to the entire WWF, as he would take a group of former enemies and unite them under one banner. The goal? The total destruction of the WWF, and Vince McMahon.

The secret was kept unreveiled, the hardest part had been done. Now, the time had come to show Vince that his time was up. The time had come for Shane to overthrow his father, and take what he thought was his rightful place as ruler of the wrestling industry. It began on RAW, a night that seemed just like any other at first, no one suspected a thing. This would set forth an action that could not be undone, this would begin a war that would destroy a McMahon and cause a family to take sides.
