Okay, simply looking at the feuds and championships and accomplishments, I have to say, of course Bret In WWF/E...What can you say about his run in WCW, he just wasn't the same after the screwjob and the death of Owen...and WCW didn't know how to book Bret Hart... In WWF/E he had 5-star matches, put on great title runs, had amazing matches, great feuds, made a big impact in WWF/E during the 90's..arguably the best...

What would you say, Looking at Feuds, Matches, Impact created when he was there...Bret Hart in WWF/E or WCW??

Please keep this thread on topic, no debating about the screwjob please...thank-you..

obviously it is the WWF, his time in WcW was lackluster and towards the end of its life. Nothing extremely memorable happened when he was in wcw.
In WWF he put on some of the greatest matches of all time on the grandest stage of them all; like the IronMan match against HBK and his match against Austin at Wm.

Bret Hart's career was best in WWE, he became big there, and spend the majority of his career being one of the greatest wrestlers of all time in WWE.

He accomplished far more in WWE than he ever did in WCW, and while he was over with the crowds both places, the WWE crowd have always welcomed Bret Hart, even when he returned after 12 years, he's now the GM of RAW, and continues to form his legacy, even considering it's large enough.

Bret Hart equals WWE, not WCW, nothing else.

I'd be very surprised if WCW gets 5 votes.

I'd almost go on to say Bret's early days (before even winning the big one) was more successful and more over than his time in WCW. By the time he got to WCW the show was already stale of NWO music and he didn't mesh IMO

I didn't even watch WWF in the late 90's, but no question they used him better than WCW. WCW had no idea how to use them...they had too many expensive main-event-types who were demanding the spotlight, Bret was barely noticed. I think he affected WWF more by his absence than he affected WCW with his presence.

Come on RKO! Thats like asking "what would you prefer.. a steak from a 5 star restaurant or a half eaten danish found on the floor of a porno theater?" WWF by a mile. Brets time in WCW was lackluster at best. WCW didn't know how to use him and Bret was just a shell of himself anyway after being how bad his exit from WWF went.

WWF is were he became a legend plain and simple..

On a side note Id love to see one of these threads for Shawn Michaels.. WWE vs WWF.. That would be an interesting debate and Im not really sure where I stand on that one yet.

WWF/E easily, it pisses all over his WCW career!
The feuds: HBK, Bulldog, Owen, Austin - some of the best in WWE history, and produced some of the best matches in WWE history too. He carried WWE in the 90s.
In WCW maybe it was shit booking/the difficulty he had with Owen but he didnt seem to be as motivated. Can he be really blamed though, he gave WWF everything and then got screwed? But im happy for him that he seems to be happy back in WWE, where he has always belonged.

Hart's career in the WWF far outshines anything he did while in WCW. Bret Hart became a star in the WWF both as a tag team and singles wrestler, had some legendary matches, legendary feuds, was arguably the best overall worker they had for years, etc.

I think that Bret Hart went to WCW primarily for the money and not because he truly wanted to be part of the company. His time in WCW was pretty lackluster and he wasn't used all that well. Sure, he won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship four times but his time in WCW came about when both his and the company's best days were behind them.
