WWF Arcade Games

Slim Pickns

Has Been Drafted To RAW
Does anyone remember WWF Superstars and WWF Wrestlefest the arcade games from 89 and 90? Those games were awesome. The only flaw is it was tag team format for the story mode and there were a combined two playable tag teams in both games.

I have a chance to buy a Wrestlefest arcade machine from some guy who lives by my father. Money is tight because I just bought my first house and a near complete home theatre set up, but there is a room in my basement that would make a perfect game room. My pool table is there so I wanted to add dart boards and build a bar. That sounds cool enough but I want people to crap their pants when they walk down there.

Oh I remember those games. They were all time classics. Being able to team up Warrior and Hogan to go for the tag belts was like a fantasy come true for me. Its such a guilty pleasure to be able to play those today, as there's a bowling alley near my house that has classic arcade games with those included. Great graphics considering the time frame.

I really wish I could find a Superstars arcade game. I like that one better and wouldn't even think about not buying it. The Megabucks make a better boss than LOD. Though I believe you can play as LOD after you beat the game but you cannot play as the Mega Bucks.

dude. u gotta do it.

I liken it to a value pick in the NFL draft. You dont really need it, and money is tight, but the juice outweighs the squeeze, and you CANT pass up this much of a possible game changer at this spot.

How many oppurtunities in life will you have to get one of these?? And for the price (I assume) you will be getting it for?? Its a value and worth, that you just cant pass up. gotta do it slim.

Well Im convinced now, thanks buddy. I don't know how much he wants yet but you're right, this is probably the only oppurtunity. The reason he is selling it is he is moving to a smaller home and doesn't want to move it just to cram it somewhere into his new place. I can probably get it cheap.

ctually, I despise real life value picks. They happen to me FAR too often, but you CANT pass up a value pick. You gotta scoop up oppurtunities when they come by you

EXACTLY. And you could just designate one quarter and keep it down there, as the game quarter, becuase u can rig up the machine to keep it coming through.

You could make it the minnesota state coin er somthin. be all cute about it

Still though, what if you buy it and it's not near as great as you thought? I'd play it first before buying it.

I played it all the time when I was a kid. The only bad thing is lack of tag teams when you can only play tag matches or Royal Rumbles. There is no one on one.

I think its rigged up so you just push a button that was added over the coin slots.

what you NEED to find is the old Ninja Turtles arcade game. And I know you know EXACTLY which one I mean. Amazing. I would kill for to find that thing somewere

Its a shame that that game was never re released anywhere else. The NES game doesn't count because it sucks.

I'm going to my father's house tomorrow so I'll know whether or not I'm going to buy it. It depends on the cost.

I can't get this Youtube video to post but there is a review of Wrestlefest by this guy who has a series called games we love. Check it out.

I have four WWF arcade games superstars, wrestlefest Royal Rumble and the royal rumble pinball game and norcal I know which turtles game you are talking about I have that one also my fav is the wrestlefest game I always have fun when I play it Ive been collecting Arcade games since I was 17 I have over 10 of them right now

I'm not collecting arcade games, just trying to start an awesome game room. I'll probably buy a few pinball machines over the next few years.

Where did you get all of those from? Thats a pretty sweet collection.

I've been trying to get hold of that for years. My DVD room has a special place waiting for it.

The only one I've been able to find had a cracked screen.

The guy I'm buying it from used to own an arcade in St. Paul. The arcade business tanked when home systems got too good. He slowly sold a bunch of his machines and now he only has about three left I think. He sold his Superstars one when I was too young to even think about buying it.

It is in near perfect condition so I am for sure going to do it. The only problem is if it breaks down I have no idea what to do.
