Match 1
Ken Shamrock vs. Faarooq
The bell rings and this match begins. Shamrock and Faarooq don’t bother with locking up as they engage in a fist fight. Shamrock backs Faarooq into the corner, the referee pulls him away after Shamrock doesn’t let up. Faarooq staggers out and his dropped with an overhead suplex. Shamrock makes the quick cover but Faarooq kicks out. Crowd break out in a “Let’s go Shamrock “Chant. Ken picks up Faarooq and throws him over the top rope and unto the floor. He then grabs Shamrocks head and bashes it off the steps much to the dismay of the crowd. Shamrock is rolled into the ring. Faarooq climbs to the top rope and comes down with a mighty fist crushing Shamrocks face. He makes the cover but Ken kicks out. Faarooq swings Shamrock of the ropes and connects with an elbow torpedo; Shamrock gets up quickly but is knocked down again with a huge clothesline. Faarooq puts his one strap down over his arm and signals for the end. He picks up Shamrock but Ken starts to fire rights and lefts into the gut of Faarooq. He then hits him square on the mouth. Shamrock runs of the ropes but is caught in a powerful Spine buster.

Faarooq makes the cover saying its over but Shamrock kicks out again. Faarooq is livid. He picks up Shamrock and goes for another Spine Buster but this time Shamrock counters it into a DDT. Crowd start to clap for Shamrock who is motionless in the ring. Both men get back to their feet. They exchange blows with Shamrock getting the better of Faarooq. He hits a few clotheslines followed by a nice body slam. Ken Shamrock goes for the ankle lock but Faarooq rolls out of it and as Shamrock turns around he is met with a devastating Dominator. Faarooq makes the cover but again Shamrock kicks out. Crowd are firmly behind Shamrock. Faarooq goes for another Dominator but Shamrock climbs off his back and quickly hits a belly to belly suplex. The referee got kicked in the face by Shamrock as he climbed of Faarooq. Shamrock goes for the cover but the referee is down. This brings out Crush and Savio Vega who enter the ring. Both men run at Shamrock but Ken just throws them over the top rope to the floor. Faarooq runs at Shamrock but he gets dropped with a drop toe hold switched into the Ankle lock. He has it locked on and he’s not releasing the pressure. Suddenly Jeff Jarrett enters the ring from behind. He has the Guitar SMASH! He smashes it over the head off Shamrock and clears the ring. Faarooq gets his arm across. The referee crawls over. 1…2…3! Ding! Ding! Ding!
Winner: Faarooq (13:11)

The Nation clears the ring leaving Shamrock lying in pieces of wood. Doctors and referees run out to a knocked out Shamrock.

Vince: King, why in the hell did Jeff Jarrett do that? I know that Shamrock defeated Jarrett last week on Raw but he can’t be holding a grudge?”

King: “What’s fair is fair McMahon. Shamrock was going to break Faarooqs ankle and all Jarrett done was prevent that from happening. It was a wrestler looking out for his work buddies”

Vince: “Doctors are now helping Shamrock leave the ring and I’m pretty sure that even Shamrock dose not quite know what just happened a few moments ago. In any event ladies and gentleman let’s take you back to last Monday night on Raw, It was Hawk from the legion of Doom taking on Owen Hart and near the finish of the match The British Bulldog would hit Hawk with a low blow giving Hart the victory but my question is where was Hawks partner, Animal? Backstage now is Jim Ross with the Legion of Doom”

Backstage Interview:

Jim Ross:
“Thank you Vince and I am here with Animal and Hawk of Legion of doom and indeed Animal that question has been going over in all our minds, Why didn’t you assist your partner Hawk after he was double teamed by Owen Hart and The Bulldog?”

Animal:
“ I thought he had the match won. I was watching backstage and after he hit a few nice moves I was certain he would win so I packed up and left, But Hawk knows that if I had watched the match until the finish then I would have ran out and helped by buddy”

Hawk:
“You see Ross, that’s a perfect reply to a perfect question. I know for a fact that Animal didn’t sit back there and watch me get beat down. He left because he thought I would win. Tonight though were back together and were going for our fifth Tag Team Championship so Owen Hart and British Bulldog, you better say your hail Marys because The Legion of Doom is an unstoppable force ready to kick some ass!!”

He tags in Animal who does a running knee drop. Quick cover and a fast kick out by Owen Hart. Animal hits a power bomb on Hart. He picks him up and swings him of the ropes but Owen quickly jumps and nails a diving elbow. He then tags in Bulldog who gets right to work with the stomps. He picks up Animal and hits a suplex. Animal staggers out and gets backed into the corner. Bulldog hits rights and lefts. He runs crushing Animal in the corner. He makes the cover and a kick out by Animal. Hawk is itching for the tag. Eventually Animal tags in his partner and Hawk goes bunkers on Bulldog. He sets him up for his signature drop kick but Bulldog steps back, Hawk hits the canvas, gets right back up but is hit with a hard DDT. Bulldog tags in Owen and both Bulldog and Owen hit a double suplex. Owen makes the cover but Hawk kicks out. He then throws Hawk to the floor. Bulldog gets of the apron. Owen taunts Animal who steps into the ring and as the referee holds Animal back, Bulldog illegally swings Hawk into the steel steps. He sets Hawk back in the ring.

The referee missed Bulldogs illegal moment. Owen Hart picks up Hawk and starts chopping at his chest backing him into the corner of Bulldog. Owen tags out and in comes the man from Britain. Owen holds up Hawks arm and Bulldog kicks him on the shoulder blade. Match continues as we see a replay of Bulldogs steel steps assist. The Bulldog picks up Hawk and hits a nice pile driver. Bulldog tags out and in comes Owen who locks in a sleeper hold. Hawk fades away. Animal runs in and kicks Owen off. The Referee gets Animal back out but during that moment Hart exits the ring and Bulldog comes in illegally. A tag was not made but we are to believe they did. Bulldog taunts Animal who is fired up on the apron. He lifts Hawk unto the ropes and climbs up. It looks like he’s going for a power bomb type move from the top but Hawk head-butts bulldog in the stomach. He then puts Bulldogs arm over his shoulder and hits a nice superplex from the second rope. Both men are down once again. Crowd are going mad for Hawk to make the tag. Bulldog tags in Owen and Hawk TAGS IN ANIMAL. HERE WE GO.

Owen runs of the ropes but Hawk grabs him, Puts him in the electric chair and WHAM! Big Doomsday Device as Animal comes of the top rope with a clothesline. Hawk makes the cover but Bulldog breaks it up. Animal gets knocked outside lightly by Bulldog but Animal just lays there. Hawk gets up battling Owen. The referee is checking on Animal who gets up and just stares into the ring. Bulldog hits a low blow on Hawk while the referee is distracted. Animal is still standing outside the ring watching. Why is he not helping? Owen hits the reverse pile driver. He makes the cover but Hawk shockingly kicks out. Bulldog picks him up while the referee tries to gain order. He hits a running power slam. Owen covers Hawk again and this time he gets the pin fall.
Winners & Still WWF Tag Team Champions: Owen Hart & British Bulldog (18:44)

Hawk is rolling round in pain. Animal enters the ring and gets down beside him. Why did Animal just stand on the outside and watch the destruction of Hawk?

Vince: “What an outstanding match but King, Why did Animal not help Hawk in the end? He just stood outside watching. If Animal had got involved in that finish we would have new Tag Team Champions. It seems to me like Animal just does not care anymore”

King: “I’ll admit McMahon, Animal could’ve stepped in and helped but my guess is, he thought Hawk had it won, just like on Raw. Obviously Hawk has let everybody down again, Its Hawk who does not care about the Tag Team Championship simple as that”

Vince: “I don’t know King. Hawk is leaving the ring with Animal as we speak and I’m pretty sure Hawk didn’t realise that Animal was standing here in front of us watching but he will look back at the match at some point and realise that his tag team partner left him standing once again”

He swings him towards the ring post but Taker doubles round the swing and Johnson eats the metal ring post. Crowd chant for Undertaker. Johnson begins to crawl away from Undertaker. The referee is at a count of 7. Johnson enters the ring as does Undertaker.

The match continues with Undertaker in firm control. He hits old skool with perfection. Ahmed goes down. Undertaker signals for another Choke slam. He grabs Johnson but it’s countered. Both Undertaker and the referee get pushed. Taker runs at Johnson but he gets kicked in his man hood. The referee missed it and so the match goes on. Taker is down. Johnson picks him right back up and hits a nice neck breaker. He makes the cover but Taker kicks out. Johnson takes a breather in the corner. As Undertaker staggers up Johnson runs at him and hits a massive Clothesline. It was huge sending Taker inside out. Johnson, without Earl Hebner noticing rips of the turnbuckle pad. He goes to swing Undertaker but it’s reversed. As Ahmed gets swung, Johnson doubles the swing again and Undertaker hits the metal turnbuckle. Taker staggers back out but Ahmed hits a big boot. Undertaker goes outside the ring again. Ahmed goes for a second dive in the match but this time Undertaker moves and Johnson hits the floor hard. Taker enters the ring as Johnson starts to get up outside. Undertaker runs and hits his own leaping dive over the top rope taking out Johnson. Crowd love Undertaker.

Johnson gets put back in the ring. Before Undertaker enters he climbs to the top rope. Taker jumps off and hits a nice clothesline from the top. He gets up and signals for the choke slam but he notices a hooded figure coming down the entrance way pushing a coffin. Undertaker exits the ring pushing the referee down and out. Taker approaches the figure that opens the lid and inside is Paul Bearer. Undertaker looks shocked and angry. He enters the ring and hits Johnson with a huge Choke slam. The hooded figure enters and suddenly drops Undertaker with a big DDT drop. He removes the hood and standing over Undertaker is Razor Ramon laughing. Why did he just do this? What business does he have with Undertaker? Ramon puts Ahmed on top of Taker. Ramon leaves through the crowd. The Referee comes around. He gets a one count, a two count but not a third. Undertaker is still in this one. Ramon is seen standing at the back of the arena with a look of shock upon his face. Johnson gets Undertaker up and goes for the Pearl River Plunge but Taker manages to escape. He gets Johnson up for the tombstone. Ahmed escapes. It’s back and forth action. Taker bangs Ahmed Johnson’s head of the exposed turnbuckle. He gets him up again and this time he hits a powerful tombstone. The referee gets down and makes the pin fall. This match is over.
Winner: The Undertaker (16:00)

Vince: “Undertaker has defeated the odds but the main factor is in that coffin. A hooded figure who later revealed himself as Chico Razor Ramon opened the lid and inside was Paul Bearer. I’m confused at this? Is Bearer alive? Why was Ramon out here and why did he drop Undertaker”

Undertaker exits the ring. He looks into the coffin once more. He then begins pushing it towards the backstage area.

King: “Undertaker I believe for the first time in his career is mourning. I think Paul Bearer might actually be gone. What did Ahmed Johnson do to Paul Bearer?”

Vince: “This is a very confusing matter and I’m sure tomorrow night on Raw is War we will find out what happened to Paul Bearer and why Razor Ramon got involved in this match on behalf of Ahmed Johnson. The only real thing that happened was The Undertaker fulfilling his promise and defeated the powerhouse Ahmed Johnson in a war”
