WWE's next star: JACKSON ANDREWS

wwetv21

Occasional Pre-Show
Andrew jackson this guy is more than 7' feet tall, copys undertakers moves(like last ride} and can be very scary. hes like great khali but has better moves and can ran. and much younger. here are some videos of him.

now that gimmick isnt scary but the next vid is jackson andrews with his monster gimmick.

well i what ever gimmick wwes looking for a new star and its jackson andrews or andrew jackson.

I wish there were some promo video's of him. He screams generic big guy to me in the first match you showed. He's big, he's able to perform some power moves, but he doesn't seem anywhere near something that would catch ones eye with exception to the size. Size is something we already got in quite a bunch of superstars. Kane, Undertaker and Big Show are already building the 7 feet + stuff. So we don't need big guys for the sake of having big guys anymore.

But obviously I guess WWE wouldn't mind trying him out. I'm just not expecting much from him, a lot of it screams like a Heidenreich type of person. And I can't say I really ever found him that damn interesting.

If WWE doesn't mess up, this guy could easily fill the spot that was wasted when they let Matt Morgan go. I've seen his FCW stuff as well and he's rather technical for being a big guy. Sadly, guys that size just aren't as marketed as serious contenders as they used to be, but he's got a future as a solid upper midcard guy.

Ferb: The 3 guys you mentioned (Taker, Kane, Big Show) have all been in the biz anywhere from 15-20 years+ and will likely all be retiring in the next few years. And the only other 7-footer WWE has (Khali) shouldn't even be in the biz right now. So I'd say this guy would be a nice attraction at worst and possibly a successor to Kane.

YOu know what I think of this idea? Allow this video to demonstrate:

Jackson Andrews is probably the best 7 foot tall wrestler in WWE right now. However, who's he in competition against? The Great Khali who can barely move, Eli Cottonwood who is awful, and the Big Show who can also barely move. However, size in today's WWE doesn't matter as much as it used to. Which is a problem for Andrews, because he's not got much in addition to his size. He'd work great as an enforcer, but other than that he's got nothing.

Look at to top guys in WWE at the moment who are big. Kane's been knocking the bal out of the park every time he's given a mic. Barrett's been cutting excellent promos since week 1 of NXT. Show's been pretty damn funny since is face turn. And Khali sucks on the mic but is so big in India that when he was a heel in the USA, his segments were edited to make him look like a face in India. What's Jackson got apart from a series of clotheslines where he "establishes dominance"? Nothing, and that's why he'll ultimately amount to nothing.

Since when did Matt Morgan have a spot in WWE?

In 2003-around 05 i believe, he was brought in with Nathan Jones as part of Team lesnar at 03 survivor series ppv. Nathan was horrible and they just dropped the ball with morgon. He had a feud with big show for a little, even doing an F-5 to him through an announce table.

but anyway, Im not trying knocking this guy quite yet but like everyone said he just looks generic and nothing special from just those videos the OP posted. Idk hes worth a tryout as long as WWE uses him right at first and doesnt do something stupid like they did with khali as in destroying taker and pinning him with one boot :disappointed:

Like I said hes worth a shot and wouldnt harm anything. Besides most of the big guys are going to be gone in a few years time, while theres nothing special about huge guys anymore, like someone else above said, he could be used as an enforcer for a heel to get over at first.

Have to agree with Ferbian...he's obviously young, and looks a bit awkward in the ring, but he has some potential. WWE likes their big guys...give him a distinct look and some promos or vignettes, you might have something.

I went to raw in orlando and saw him wrestle a dark match against goldust monday. He picked up the win, but the match was boring and he worked as a heel. Truthfully who knows... Id like to hear him speak and see if he can cut a promo. He did move around the ring fine, but truthfully if he cant talk he wont last.

Let me put it this way. If someone's not given mic time, there's usually a reason for it. Compare Wade Barrett to Charlie Haas. Wade Barrett is so strong on the mic that he was FCW colour commentator for as few months while he was rehabbing his back. The only time Charlie Haas showed charisma was when he was playing dressup. And even then the mic was kept as far away from him as possible.

I watched and he is certainly a great physical specimen. But he does move kinda Khali-ish, he is certainly no Undertaker or Kane or even Big Show in the ring. But he is better than Khali and can almost certainly talk better than Khali. He probably will get a spot on Raw or SD but I don't see him becoming champ. They made that mistake with Khali and probably learned from it.

I've seen all his matches and I think he can have a promising career when he gets called up. They need a new Monster/Enforcer type since WWE fired most of them. If he can't talk well, it can easily be fixed with a manager, valet, or a superstar at his side to talk for him. The Big Show would be great to put him over in a nice battle of 7footers. Just give more time on FCW, a cool nickname and he's ready.

I see some potential in him. He's in great shape, not fat like Big Show or a stick like Eli Cottonwood. If he gets called up I would definitely like to see Big Show put him over. Show is becoming such a shell of his former self, he must be shrinking with age too because he continues to only "tower" over average guys by a few inches these days.

Yeup, saw this guy on an episode of FCW. He certainley has everything one needs as far as "the look" is concerned, and can certainley be useful in a bodyguard role for a small heel, at the very least. Does he have the charisma and the ability to put together a decent match with someone other than Triple H, John Cena, or Rey mysterio? Only time will tell.

He's more like Kevin Nash than Undertaker. Looks more like Big Sexy, moves more like Big Sexy, performs more like, well you get the point :P

even the crowd was chanting Diesel in his debut match thats also on youtube

Dusty beat you to that idea Norcal. Just about the only good thing that could be done with the fucker though.

This video would suggest not, especially on the microphone.

Jackson Andrews is massive. However he has nothing going for him apart from that. Sure, that massive size might get him an overly quick callup and a push. But it won't take long for people to realise just how bad he is and he'll flop and get future endeavored. The giants who are still on WWE TV have things going for them outside of their size. Andrews does not.

Why is it that people are selecting the worst guys in FCW as the people who might be successful in WWE? First the green as grass dipped in green paint Mason Ryan, now Jackson Andrews. Who next, Jacob Novak?

Wow! That guy is big!

However, I also note that is all that anyone has said he has got going for him. After watching a few of the matches that have been posted here, I will guess that he will be just as much of a success as any other big guy that the WWE have decided to take a punt on recently.

Honestly, being a big wrestler can be good but you need to have more than that to be taken seriously as a competitor. Sure, the dude looks absolutely scary and is good shape for a man of his size/ However, out with a few power moves, he didn't really show me anything other than the fact that he could easily dominate some people in the ring. To me though, that is not even nearly enough to warrant a place on the WWE full roster.

That being said, Remix has it absolutely right. We have all heard tales of how Vince loves the big guys in the company. He likes them muscle bound and dominant. Andrews might be right up his street and might get a nice push coming out of FCW. Does he deserve it? I really couldn't comment on that matter because I haven't seen anywhere near enough of his work but it would seem rather shallow given what I have seen. He would seem doomed to have a feud with The Big Show and then fade away unfortunately.

Question though Dave, who was the last guy to be successful in WWE soley because of his look? Sheamus backed it up with his skill in the ring and on the mic. Barrett won NXT off the back of his ability to work a microphone. Del Rio (while fairly overrated) is a good all rounder. Can't think of any other successful people who came up recently.

WWE has changed of late. The number of guys who have nothing going for them other than size is decreasing. Even the shitheads like Otunga, Khali and DH Smith have upsides (charisma, international drawing ability and ability to wrestle respectively). And even Masters who started off as someone who had the look but no tallent doesn't fit that mold any more. Times have changed in WWE

Yeah Big Slow is just as Undertaker is these days, so depressing to watch. And Show is still in his 30's ironically. But if this new guy does come up i hope WWE sees the possibilities with the guy. Never have WWE that i remember except "1997-2000 Kane" had a 7'0 footer in this kind of shape like this guy is. But i hope He does come in and destroy Big show or wasted Khali. But the key to that is his strength. It wouldn't be believable unless he can pick both of them up convincingly in a match with them.

Man, I'm almost 100% positive that I made & sold him the hockey mask he wore as Cyrus. There are a lot of independent artists out there that make the same replicas that I do, but when I saw what his real name was, it seemed awfully familiar and I've made plenty of masks for aspiring wrestlers over the years. I wish I had some pics of a particular custom piece I made for one fan a couple years ago, the guy was going to Summer Slam and had me make him a Jason mask with Undertaker's logo in the center instead of the red arrows....

He is massive and is muscular to boot. But I don't know if he is the next big star. Size isn't always the ground work for a star anymore.

Of course it could be his way to get his foot in the door. But as Ferbian said, I would like to see/hear him talk. If he had some serious mic skills than maybe I would change my stance on him. Sure he is strong and all that, but is that it?

He definitely has the look of a monster...... Some serious work with him to lighten his greenness could help. But I think he stands a better chance if he can work with the mic, or at the very least, had a steady mouth piece, as Lesnar had with Heyman and Bearer was for Kane.
