WrestleMania 32 will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Later today, a media event will be held at the stadium featuring WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, WWE Superstar John Cena and other WWE Superstars and Divas, to celebrate the announcement.

The Rock should main event this WrestleMania, period.

He's the biggest wrestling star alive, the wrestler who has the most chance of filling up 100,000+ seats and deserves a better Final match than the shit match he had with Cena with the awful crowd reaction especially at the end where both him and Cena got booed out of the building.

It doesn't matter if it's a blockbuster main event match against Daniel Bryan or Brock Lesnar, a retirement match (or double retirement match) against Triple H or a passing of the torch match against Roman Reigns, The Rock should be a lock for Wm32 main event.

Just my opinion, Don't hate ;)

It's gotta be Austin IMO. Austin returns for one last match. You can put him in there with maybe a returning CM Punk, a Brock Lesnar if they can resign him, John Cena (this is the biggest attraction left in wrestling IMO.), Triple H if there was no one else, Reigns if he's there yet. It doesn't even matter. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN THE MOST PROFITABLE STAR IN THE HISTORY OF THE WWE. THEY SAY EVERYTHING THEY PUT HIS NAME ON SOLD OUT. HE'D SELL THAT OUT IN HIS HOMESTATE FOR ONE LAST FAREWELL. They could also put Taker's last match on there if he has that in him.

Cm Punk signed a multi-fight contract with UFC, meaning if he needs a year to train for his first fight, he also need months to train for his second and considering his first fight will be late 2015, I think his second will be after Wm32.

I don't see Brock Lesnar vs Stone Cold happening either, with Brock being a stiff worker.

Cena vs Austin is the only match I could see happening if Stone Cold ever comes back because Cena is without question the biggest star of this generation.

With that being said, I don't think there's any reason for Austin to come back for "one more match" when he retired in his prime against his biggest wrestling rival (who is also one of the biggest stars in wrestling history) in a great match with a great story.

No need to tarnish that. Austin would be 52 years old and hadn't had a match in 13 years at Wm32.

I do think that Stone Cold should be the host of Wm32 though.

This IMO would be the perfect lineup to fill those 100,000+ seats:
-Host: Stone Cold
-HOF Inductee: Taker
-Main Event match: Rock

Taker vs Sting

The Undertaker is from Texas and Sting resides in Texas. I think this has a good chance of Main Event at this Wrestlemania. Taker will go out in front of 100,000 people and get the whole fanfare after the 1-2-3. And it doesnt look like we are getting this match at Mania 31.

Rock will hopefully be in a match. It won't be against Brock though because it looks like he is returning to UFC. Rock vs Triple H serves nostalgia, but we would already ahve that in the match above - plus Triple H is off the back losses to Brock, Axel, Shield, Bryan and soon to be Sting.

Best we can hope for is Austin hosts this. I cannot see him returning to the ring.

Not Cena's fault that The Rock got injured during their 2nd match. I give The Rock credit for hanging in there, but it's true the match was crap not only because of the injury but because The Rock's cardio was extremely subpar.

As far as The Rock headlining this event, you're forgetting the possibility that maybe The Rock doesn't want to wrestle anymore. The Rock's doubtlessly been told by movie industry people, his agent and pretty much anyone else who has a financial stake in The Rock's film career that he shouldn't wrestle anymore. A serious enough injury could jeopardize his career as an action star, which is worth far more than anything he could make in WWE. He might also very well have another film project, or multiple projects for that matter, that'll keep him out of WrestleMania XXXII.

Personally, I hope he doesn't come back. I'm more interested in the here & now and guys who're the future than nostalgia.

I agree, if WWE will try and fill 100,000 to set new records they will need to pull out all the big guns and the 3 following points must apply to make sure they succeed:

X The Rock has to appear potentially putting him in a match against a HEEL Triple H. Nostalgia Shawn Michaels (homestate) could potentially be involved/Special guest referee etc as It's known publicly HBK and The Rock never liked each other so could be interesting.

X The Undertaker (homestate) vs Sting (Where he lives) - Retirement Legends match. Giving the fans the match they have been asking for 25 years

X Stone Cold Steve Austin either has to host the event or have him come back for one more match either against Dean Ambrose or who ever is in the top spot at that time, Bryan/Reigns/Rollins etc Of course Austin would be FACE in his homestate so fans will eat it up.... Who know's this may make CM Punk crawl out of the woodwork to get what he finally wants.

If WWE is content to do the usual and get an 80k crowd and a decent buyrate, then the plan may feature certain wrestlers mentioned above; the main event however will be a HEAVILY promoted Undertaker retirement match, and Vince WILL want to smash the 100k barrier. At the very least he'll want to beat WM3's attendance.

To this end, that makes 2015 the most important year in WWE for a LONG time. To get 100,000 into AT&T Stadium, WWE need to pull their fingers out and create genuine stars, and don't hamstring them half way through their push (case in point (a) Bray Wyatt, inexplicably disappears from tv and comes back without his followers; and (b) Dean Ambrose who gets silly gimmicks on tv and hasn't won a meaningful match in months) - WWE need to decide their core plan for WM32 NOW and follow it through as much as possible (obviously done things will change, like injuries, suspensions, arrests etc) and build up their key characters super-strong. Get people invested in wrestling again, so that they aren't merely relying on nostalgia. The Rock worked successfully in 2012 and 2013, but he alone won't carry a six-figure crowd, especially if the mid card is perceived as crap.

It doesn't matter what his agent or "movie industry people" have to say, in the end it's Rock's decision and if he wants to come back nothing is going to stop him.

The Rock said he'd only come back to break records and this is a 30 year record that I'm pretty sure Rock would love to be involved in and WWE is going to do all they can to bring back their biggest wrestling star alive.

He's the highest grossing actor in Hollywood, has 45 millions fans on Facebook, etc.

You're crazy if you think WWE is going for a 100,000+ stadium and aren't going to try to reach out to him.

The "here & the now and future guys" aren't going to sell 100,000+ tickets and that's a fact.

Last year's WrestleMania, 2 days before the event, there was still 2000+ tickets still unsold on Ticketmaster. Add 20,000+ tickets for Wm32.

WWE needs to go all out to sell out 100,000+ seats.

Last night, the pop at the end wasn't for "young guys", it was a "nostalgia pop".

WWE should milk those guys and get as much money from those old stars as they can because they won't be around for very long.

Now I'm not disagreeing, I would want Rock to face a full-timer like Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns but if he's facing Triple H or Brock Lesnar, I'm not going to argue or complain because WWE needs to do what they have to do to sell 100,000+ seats.

Making history is much more important than making stars.

For this night only, Nostalgia should be the focus, that is if they want to sell out 100,000+ seats.

Also, it won't be the end of the world if Wm32 main event didn't "create a star" because Wm30 main event made Daniel Bryan a superstar, probably the same will happen this year with Roman Reigns.

Austin will never in a million years come back to face Dean Ambrose, if he's going to come back it's either for Cena, Punk or Lesnar.

Punk left and Lesnar is leaving so that leaves Cena.

We've already seen Cena beat Rock, Michaels, Triple H at WrestleMania. It would be pointless to have him beat Austin too and a 50+ year old man who hasn't wrestled in 13 years, coming back and beating your face of the company then retiring would be ridiculous.

I think Stone Cold had the perfect last match, him, Flair and Shawn shouldn't come back and tarnish that.

100,000+

First off, my hunch is they have two design concepts ready for the set. If they appear to be within range of getting all 100K, they go with a smaller set. If they aren't in the neighborhood (which I do not think they will be) they will go with the larger set, and change the historical narrative to say they "didn't want to cheat the fans out of the full WM experience, so they sacrificed a shot at the all time record to do so" or some other lawyer-speak horseshit.

The current record, btw, is 108,713, set by the NBA All-Star Game.

The only shot they have is to get everyone....The Rock, Brock, Hogan, and to have the advertised final match of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Not to mention, it would be the time to finally pull the trigger on a Cena - Taker match. Obviously Sting - Taker is an attraction, but Sting hasn't seemed interested in doing more than one Mania match by all indications.

Everyone who has had a major role in building this company should get a small segment, a chance to come out in front of that crowd. Hart, Micheals, all of them.

I'd say Stone Cold should headline WM 32. He'll have over a year to train. Just like we saw with WM 28, a comeback match is huge, especially in your home state. We've seen The Rock be involved in 4 straight WrestleManias so the allure wouldn't be the same like Stone Cold or even Hogan if they wrestled a match.

I'd headline WM 32 as a triple main event show. Undertaker vs. Sting to close the show, Stone Cold vs. Cena as the second to last match and Reigns vs. the RR winner as the first main event caliber match.

I agree with The Rock, he should be on the card but against Triple H? All I remember Triple H doing recently is getting his ass handed to him by Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan and The Shield. Multiple times. No need for nostalgia here. The Rock vs Roman Reigns would interest...throw in the Usos, Tamina and bring back Rikishi and you have a great family feud story.

Taker vs Sting makes perfect sense for the reasons you have given. This will Main Event.

I cannot see Stone Cold competing. This could overshadow Taker vs Sting and we wouldn't want that. Austin will almost certainly host the event, or a skit which could set him up for a match at Mania 33.
