WWE should rehire Colin Delaney

And put him in a stable with Sheamus and Fit Finlay as all 3 are Irish.

Colin Delaney had fantastic ring presence and a great body. He had the Wrestlers look. I saw him live against Kozlov at the OZ London in 2008.

An awesome worker andf awesome specimen. Watch that match to see what I mean.

Colin Delaney? I do believe thats the guy who was a skinny runt on the street, who had to fight for his contract.. It wouldn't work, let alone make it look somewhat believeable, I'm sorry.

Just because he is Irish dosent mean that he needs to be in a stable with Sheamus. Sheamus is doing fine all by himself and there is no reason for him to be in a stable with a jobber and a guy the WWE fired.

So you put one of the most dominant wrestlers on the roster with a guy who hasn't been on television in months with a guy who couldn't have won more than 5 matches (probably less) his entire time with the WWE, and you think this will work why?

Sheamus doesn't need a stable, at all. I don't understand why you're trying to fix something that's already working very well.

I can't really picture Sheamus working well in a stable. I see him more as a solo performer. Maybe eventually I could see him forming a tag team, but I would picture that with someone who's got some definite size on them. If I remember right, Delaney was considerably smaller than most of the other wrestlers in the WWE. Again, I could be wrong.

While Finlay definitely has a purpose in the WWE, I don't think that purpose will fit well with Sheamus' purpose. Finlay is a teacher and someone who can put over new workers on their way into the upper midcard. Sheamus doesn't need a teacher, since he's now fairly well established in the main event, and thus the need to be put over Finlay is gone as well. In addition, I don't buy Finlay as a serious title contender at this point, so the only possible role I could see Finlay having in a stable would the Flair role from Evolution, and the Irish Evolution doesn't really seem like a plan to me, especially when they quite easily do a European tag team with Sheamus and Barret, who work together better, in my opinion.

As for Delaney, I believe that I've read he's doing quite ok in Chikara, or at least has a better setup than when he was in ECW jobbing to Dreamer in their feud. Sure, you could bring him back with the gimmick of, I've trained hard while away from the WWE and now I'm a bad ass, but honestly, they have enough new talent that they are going to need to find something to do with before they really need to look into bringing Delaney in. There are the 7 Nexus guys, at least 4 from NXT 2, the Usos and Tamina, and possibly some NXT 3 guys if they decide to run that. While I am all for the WWE trying to establish new stars, they have brought in quite a few over the last year, and the Creative team has a hard enough time keeping people occupied, especially once we regain any guys who are out due to injury. I can quite easily see Delaney getting last in the shuffle fairly quickly, so I think the best bet would be to leave well enough alone, and let him continue to work in Chikara.

You're kidding right? For one, hes from New York. Yeah he has an Irish name, doesn't mean he is Irish. Second, Delaney wasn't that good, I have to be honest. Sure it was funny when he came in but WWE has the jobber role filled with Santino. I was never a fan of him and he was never going to do anything. If hes doing well in Chikara then good for him, I'm happy, but he just couldnt cut it in WWE.

Just because he is Irish dosent mean that he needs to be in a stable with Sheamus. Sheamus is doing fine all by himself and there is no reason for him to be in a stable with a jobber and a guy the WWE fired.

Sheamus is doing fine without a group, but Finlay is doing house shows. He not on TV because WWE is pushing the younger talent. Finlay usually jobs to the upcoming talent.

I'd rather see him by himself. If wwe gets enough small guys they might give it a title and a fair shot in wwe. Plus I wanna see what he can do.

Colin Delaney? Really? I had to Google his pic to remember who he is. Surely, this thread must be for humor. And, put him with Sheamus? Sheamus is doing just fine, thank you.

Besides this being a daft idea, All three are from different countries. Americans need to learn this. Sheamus is from The Republic of Ireland (which is it's own country) and Finlay is from Northern Ireland (part of the United Kingdom) There have been years of religious war between the two and it would be dumb to stick them together. People need to quit the 'Sheamus and Finlay need to team up' It's disrespectful to both countries.

Thank you for murdering this pointless thread.

Colin? Really? Are you kidding me? It's fans like you who bother me more than any stupid decision made in the wrestling business. And I'm not just belittling, no, I have my reasons.

1- He does NOT have the look. Not for TNA, not for WWE. He's skinny, he looks like nothing.

2- He's not believable in the ring. I can BARELY see Evan Bourne as a guy that could really whack the crap out of a big guy, and this guy, Colin, should put bricks in his pockets just so Sheamus' breathing doesn't blow him away.

3- He might be a good wrestler, hell, Jack Evans is even skinnier but much better. Fact is, major promotions don't like guys like that. He'll be misused, he'll be a comedy act, he'll be smacked around, beaten up and won't help anybody.

Wow are you kidding me? I now have firmly given up on some members of the IWC IQ'S. Why the fuck would you put the fastest rising superstar today with a jobber because their Irish? Secondly did you say Delaney had a nice body? Have you seen Colin Delaney? He's one of the thiner wrestlers I've ever seen.

Delaney was great for what he was. A shame they had to ruin things and turn him heel.

The man is actually quite entertaining in the ring. I watched the King of Trios tournament not to long ago and the man is awesome. His indy gimmick is so much better than the thing they gave him to work with in WWE. His gimmick he plays now is that he is better than everyone else and he uses other and cheap shots to make him better. I love how he mocks other WWE stars by using their finisher moves in the indys. But to answer the question I say no. He doesn't have that face value to reach the top in WWE so why put him there? He is working great in the Indys so let him run his course there.

Why does everybody WWE hires have to be a prospect to put at the top of the card? Can't we just have some fun undercard guys anymore?

hmmmmm...WHAT? NO! WHAT? DEFINITELY NO!!!! I know you are making a joke, but stop it. as far as comedic acts in wrestling concern....Santino AND Colin Delaney should be a tag team and then feud! I would pay to see that!..................:disappointed:

oh and where the hell is fit finlay anyway?? nevermind...no irish stable...i wanna see less of sheamus not more..my eyes can barely adjust to the light when we walks out as it is i dont need long irish promos next....

of course his indy gimmick is better ALL indy gimmicks are better until vince rapes it...shit HUSKY HARRIS??? really?? HUSKY?? is this the 80's?? the eff kinda name is this and dont get me started on curt hennigs kid....you wanna really talk about good indy gimmicks but get ruined by wwe??? eugine...that was THE WORST THING to ever happen to that poor guy...and then theirs brian daneilson...that guy can outwrestle wwe's entire roster and never picked up a win on nxt...thats just stupid...now kaval is suffering from that same bs...these guys are always so good but vince just can't deal with talent he doesn't create
