Beginning with the Monday night RAW following on from Wrestlemania '07

The same rosters and characters/roles for all superstars and extremists.

Going to try and do this realistically, with balanced results at shows, logical results, not a ladder match every show etc.

Starting with the 'situation' WWE are in atm. and how I'd slowly crawl out of it...

Wrestlemania results

RAW

*Pyro and RAW theme*

The show starts with MNM's music blaring as they make their entrance, showing off their collective gold. Nitro & Mercury play up that they have once again solidfied MNM as the most dominant team in the WWE today, beating the legendary DX and finishing off the Hardys once and for all at Wrestlemania. All of a sudden Edge's music hits and he joins MNM in the ring, congratulating them, giving hi-5's to Nitro & Mercury and kissing Melina's hand like a gentleman. The quartet brags about being the youth and future of the WWE before being interupted by Team Xtreme who cautiously enter the ring to respectfully congratulate MNM for winning after the hard fought battle all teams competed in. MNM look like they are going to go for it before they simultaneously slam the Hardys full on with their tag team belts as Edge and Melina look on and laugh. The quartet leaves the ring and makes their way to the back.

Backstage Orton is complaining to Jonathon Coachman that he was screwed out of the WWE title AGAIN and wants Hunter in the ring. Coach agrees, and makes the main event a triple threat match : Orton vs. Triple H vs. Cena with the winner earning the right too face Edge for the WWE title at Backlash

Match 1
Tag Team Match
Chris Masters & Ken Doane vs. Carlito (w/Torrie) & Super Crazy

The match starts with Masters dominating Super Crazy, tagging in and out with Doane to isolate and double team. Super Crazy finally manages to make the tag as Carlito enters and clears the ring before Masters reverses a whip to the ropes and hits a huge powerslam on him. Carlito looks groggy but counters being whipped to the corner with a moonsault off the top rope. Both eventually make the tag and Super Crazy and Doane go at it.

The end comes when Masters makes a blind tag on Kenny who is whipped off the ropes by Crazy who drops him with a kick to the mid-section followed by a powerbomb - setting up the moonsault. Masters bides his time, waiting till AFTER Super Crazy has hit his finisher before sneaking in to grab him from behind with the master lock. Torrie jumps on the apron, getting both the ref and Masters' attention as Carlito sneaks up behind to drop him with the back cracker. He drags a near-unconcious Super Crazy onto a dazed Masters for the win, looking satisfied at getting a measure of revenge after coming up short in the 4-way match at Wrestlemania last night. Afterwards, Doane seems mad at Masters for waiting till Super Crazy had hit the moonsault. Masters looks unphased and walks off to the back.

Winners: Carlito (w/Torrie) & Super Crazy

Backstage Triple H is shown with a bandaged Shawn Michaels who questions his actions in last nights main event. Hunter says it was simply payback for Orton costing him a place in that main event at Wrestlemania and that he's going to go out there and earn his shot all over again tonight, by any means necessary... Shawn looks concerned at this apparent 'new attitude'

Match 2
Womens Title Match
Melina (c) (w/Nitro & Mercury) vs. Mickie James

As MNM makes their entrance, Benjamin & Haas come from behind to attack Nitro & Mercury and the four brawl into the back, leaving a nervous Melina alone to defend her title.

Melina and Mickie lock up in the middle of the ring with Mickie winning each exchange. Melina finally fights back with an arm drag followed by a sleeper hold. Mickie looks to be out cold but comes back after 2.

The finish comes when Mickie hits the DDT and looks set for the win until Edge runs down and pulls her off Melina, causing the ref to call for the bell and the DQ.

Mickie goes to slap Edge but he catches her hand. Melina grabs her by the hair and throws her into the steel steps at ringside, before Edge lifts her hand with the title, declaring her the champ.

Winner: Mickie James by DQ

Backstage we see the fallout of the MNM/Benjamin & Haas brawl, as Cade & Murdoch are restraining MNM, whilst Cryme Tyme is holding Benjamin and Haas. Cade & Murdoch argue why they should be the #1 contenders but are cut off by Cryme Tyme who say they've been screwed out of the title several times over the past few months. The argument breaks down into another brawl before all 4 teams as we go to a break.

When we return from the break it is announced that there will be a #1 contenders match for the World Tag Team Titles tonight in a fatal fourway match. Each team of Benjamin & Haas, Cryme Tyme, Team Xtreme and Cade & Murdoch must nominate ONE member of their team to compete.

In another segment, it is announced that next week Melina and Edge will face Mickie James and a partner of her choice from any brand in a mixed tag match.

Match 3
Val Venis vs. Rob Conway

Match opens with both men shaking hands before locking up in the middle of the ring. Both look strong in this match and gain a fair amount of offence against each other.

The ending comes when Val has Conway set up for the money shot but is pushed by the interfering Highlanders who destroy both competitors, sending them out of the ring. Robbie & Rory take the mic and complain about not being considered for the tag team titles after their efforts and close scrapes with winning over the past year. They say they're not going to lay down and take it anymore before throwing down the mic and making their exit...

Winner: No contest

Backstage Cena is interviewed about the triple threat match for the #1 contender for the WWE Title. He says he doesn't care who he faces, he's beaten Orton and Triple H before and he'll do it again. Then he'll beat Edge AGAIN to regain his title.

Elsewhere Shawn is with a fired up Triple H, who seems restless. He is still trying to talk sense into him, telling him to calm down and that he doesn't want to do anything stupid to get himself disqualified tonight. Triple H snaps back at Michaels but then calms down, apologising. Shawn looks shocked at Hunter's behaviour.

In another segment, Orton runs into Edge (w/MNM) in the back, who are abouts to watch the #1 contender fatal fourway match for the World Tag Titles on a big screen. Orton tells Edge that he should enjoy being the WWE champion while it lasts, because at Backlash he's going to beat him for the title.

Match 4
Fatal Fourway, #1 contender match for the World Tag Team Titles

The Team Xtreme music hits and out comes Matt to a huge ovation, he is followed by Shad (representing Cryme Tyme), followed by Benjamin and finally Lance Cade.

The bell rings and all four men collide in the centre of the ring, with Matt taking the fight to Benjamin and Cade facing off against Shad. Hardy hits Benjamin with the 'side effect' early on for a two count as Cade and Shad brawl on the outside. Benjamin manages to counter a suplex with a neckbreaker on Hardy and goes for a pinfall before bein pulled off by Shad, who drags Shelton to the outside. Shad, Benjamin and Cade trade punches on the outside until Hardy dives off the top turnbuckle, landing on all three men.

The finish comes when Shelton hits a top rope superplex on Cade ONTO Shad, but is then taken out by Matt Hardy with the twist of fate. The ref looks temporarily confused as Hardy is pinning Benjamin and Cade is laid out accross Shad (effectively getting the pin) but counts the three fall. Matt jumps up thinking he has won but then turns around to see the situation at the other side of the ring. Everyone looks puzzled as the ref announces a double win.

Winners and new #1 contenders for the World Tag Team Titles: Matt Hardy and Lance Cade (Team Extreme and Cade & Murdoch)

Backstage MNM look concerned and puzzled. Edge reassures them that no team can beat them. They don't look reassured...

Triple H is shown walking to the ring backstage looking very focused. A nobody wishes him luck but gets shoved out of the way into a wall.

Match 5
Triple Threat Match for the #1 contender spot for the WWE Title
Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. John Cena

Cena makes his entrance first, followed by Triple H who goes straight to work on Cena, backing him into the corner and hitting him with closed fists. The ref stops it and warns Hunter. Both men fight back and fourth until Orton finally makes his entrance and comes down to ringside (clearly hoping to pick up the pieces). Cena manages to hit a distracted Triple H with the F.U. but Orton jumps in to break up the pinfall, before giving a tired Cena an RKO. Orton tries to dominate Triple H but Hunter comes back with a spinebuster. The fight continues until the referee gets caught up in the heated confrontation and is knocked out. Hunter looks crazy and goes to the outside to get his sledgehammer.

The end comes when Cena and Orton are both getting to their feet in oppositte corners of the ring, with Hunter measuring each one with the sledgehammer. Suddenly, Shawn Michaels runs in and looks to be trying to talk sense into Triple H but instead smiles and nods to him. He then hits Cena with a 'sweet chin music' in one corner as Hunter strikes Orton out cold with the sledgehammer in the other. Hunter then throws the sledgehammer to Shawn who takes it and leaves the ring, hiding the evidence. The ref comes round and counts 3, making Triple H the new #1 contender for the WWE Title. The DX music hits and Shawn rolls back in the ring to raise Triple H's hand along with the ref as RAW goes off the air.

Winner and new #1 contender for the WWE Title: Triple H

ECW

The show opens with the new ECW World Champion CM Punk making his way down to the ring to a huge ovation. He raises the belt in each corner to a huge reaction. He gets on the mic and thanks all his fans for their continued support through the challenging times and says it's down to them that he's the new ECW World Champion. He goes on to talk about the main event tonight, which was announced on ECW.com earlier in the day, that will see him in his first title defence against Rob Van Dam in an extreme rules match. Punk says that while he respects Van Dam, there is no chance in hell that he's going to take his title, not tonight and not ever... Punk leaves and heads to the back.

Backstage RVD is interviewed by Rebecca who asks him what his feelings are on the match later tonight. He answers telling the people that tonight is the night he takes back his ECW World Title, and after over half a year of fighting the machine that is the WWE and Vince McMahon, it all comes down to tonight and this oppurtunity. He's says that when it's all said and done you'll be looking at your new ECW World Champion, Rob. Van. Dam.

Match 1
Kevin Thorn (w/Ariel) vs. Balls Mahoney

Thorn and Ariel enter first to boos, they get in the ring and do their pre-match ritual. Balls Mahoney's music hits and the crowd goes wild, he makes his way down to the ring carrying a steel chair. He has a mic, saying he is well aware of Ariel and that he's brought some back up of his own. He places the chair in the corner under the ropes, at the opposite end of the ring from Thorn and Ariel.

The two lock up in the middle of the ring and Balls gets the advantage, hitting Thorn with a number of right hands. Thorn retreats to regroup before locking up again with Balls, which Balls again wins out on, dropping Thorn with a neckbreaker. Ariel jumps on the apron to distract the ref but Balls whips Thorn off the ropes, knocking Ariel off. Balls sets Thorn up for the 'nutcracker suite' but the lights in the arena suddenly go out. There is clatter in the darkness before the lights come back on, making it apparent that Thorn has hit Balls with his own chair. Thorn lifts him up and slams him back down to the mat with the crucifix powerbomb for the 3 count and win.

Winner: Kevin Thorn (w/Ariel)

Backstage Lashley is shown leaving his dressing room for his match with Test up next.

Elsewhere Test is outside someones dressing room. He tells the mystery person that Lashley won't be a problem before laughing and making his way to the ring also.

Match 2
Bobby Lashley vs. Test

The match starts with Lashley dominating Test, hitting him with a shoulder block off the ropes and a string of power moves. Test comes back after a blind low blow, hitting Lashley full on with the big boot for a 2 count. Lashley counters Tests attempt at his 'spinning fireman's carry neckbreaker' and sets him up for the running powerslam.

Suddenly the Big Show's music hits and he walks down towards the ring, distracting Lashley who then allows Test to counter the powerslam back into the spinning neckbreaker for the 3 count and win.

After the match, Show climbs into the ring and delivers a huge chokeslam to Lashley. He gets on the mic and announces that Mr McMahon has made him the new General Manager of ECW, as Test applaudes the decision. They then exit together leaving a broken Lashley in the middle of the ring.

Winner: Bobby Lashley by DQ

Backstage the F.B.I, Tommy Dreamer and the Sandman are shown looking concerned at the breaking news they've just heard

We then cut to another area in the building, where Hardcore Holly, Matt Striker, Sylvester Terkay and Ellijah Burke are seen looking very pleased with what they've just heard.

Match 3
ECW World Title
Extreme Rules Match
CM Punk (c) vs. Rob Van Dam

Both enter to huge pops from the crowd but are both looking over their shoulders as they come down to the ring, clearly concerned with the recent development.

Punk and RVD hit knuckles as a sign of respect before getting the match under way. RVD comes off strong in the opening minutes with a spinning heel kick, grounding Punk. Punk comes back with the knees to the midsection, backing RVD into the corner and then hitting him with a running knee charge, before performing a tornado DDT off the turnbuckle for a 2 count.

He then goes to the outside and collects a trash can, chair and table from under the ring, throwing them in. As he return RVD throws Punk a chair, which he catches before being layed out with the 'van daminator'. RVD places the chair on top of Punk and runs off the ropes to hit a 'rolling thunder', injuring himself in the process. Van Dam finally crawls on top of Punk for a 2 count.

Van Dam picks up Punk and hangs him upside down from the corner, before attempting a running dropkick with a chair to the face of Punk, who manages to pull himself up just in time, leaving Van Dam to slide out of the ring. He quickly re-enters, jumping straight to the top rope to hit a reverse frankensteiner on Punk. RVD finally makes it to his feet and sets the table up in the ring.

Suddenly the Big Show's music hits again and he makes his way out, flanked by Test. They get in the ring to take advantage of a drained Van Dam. Show grabs RVD by the throat for a chokeslam but is struck from behind by Punk with the chair who then hits Test causing him to fall back onto the table. Show is then beaten again with the chair before he falls back into the corner, slouching down. Van Dam hits the frog spash onto Test through the table as Punk sets up the trash can in front of Show in the corner. Van Dam goes back up and hits the 'van terminator', driving the trash can into Shows face.

The match ends with every man for himself, as it is still being contested under extreme rules. Van Dam gets back up to his feet but is then hit with the side slam into the 'anaconda vice' by Punk in the centre of the ring. Van Dam has no choice but to tap out, giving Punk the win and his first successful title defense.

Punk raises his belt and is the last man standing as ECW goes off the air

Winner and still ECW World Champion: CM Punk

Smackdown

The show opens with Paul London vs. Gregory Helms

Match 1
Cruiserweight Title
Paul London (c) vs. Gregory Helms

The two cruiserweights face off in a rematch from Wrestlemania, where Gregory Helms finally lost his title after a 2 year reign as champion.

They lock up and Helms gets London in an arm lock, which he manages to elbow out of before running off the ropes to hit a flying clothesline. They trade counters with many quick pinfall attempts, making for a very fast paced match, before Helms manages to hit London with 'the nightmare on helms street', covering him after for a 2 count as London just kicks out in time.

London then manages to fight back, catching Helms with a superkick for a 2 count, before hitting him with a legsweep ddt. He then goes to the top rope and appears to be going for the 450 splash but Helms manages to shove the referee into the ropes, causing London to slip into a seated position. Helms then meets London on the top rope for a superplex, but London fights back and counters with a tornado ddt.

The finish comes when a groggy Helms swings for London, who ducks and side-steps into a full nelson hold. From this he hit Helms with a dragon suplex with a bridge to pin Helms for the 3 count, retaining the cruiserweight title.

Winner and still Cruiserweight Champion: Paul London

Following the match, a Kennedy promo airs, in which he brags about becoming the U.S. Champion for a second time, beating the man who stole it from him and several other competitors, one of which being a former world heavyweight champion and 'champion of champions' - Booker T. He goes on to say how he's bored of beating people on Smackdown and now that he has beaten everyone twice, he has requested once again to be moved to monday night RAW. He continues, saying that the audience should expect to see him and his U.S. Title on the flagship show real soon, where everyone will know the name, 'Kennedy'

Match 2
MVP & Chavo Guerrero vs. Finlay & Chris Benoit

Chavo and Finlay start the match, with Finlay dominating in the early stages. Chavo finally manages to hit him with a low blow behind the refs back and makes the tag to MVP, as the two double team Finlay in their corner. They isolate him for several minutes, tagging in and out to continue the double team assault before Finlay manages to counter MVP with a clothesline off the ropes. Both men slowly crawl to their respective corners but when Finlay manages to make the tag to Benoit, Chavo steps down off the apron, leaving MVP to get hit with a number of knockdowns and german suplexs, followed by the 'crossface', causing MVP to tap out

Winners: Finlay and Chris Benoit

Backstage the Undertaker is being interviewed by Kristal. He says that it has taken him a long long time to climb back up to the top of the mountain but he's done it and this time, he isn't going to let it go. When asked about his non-title match in tonights main event, Undertaker says he is going to use it to send a message to the whole of the WWE, that is going to be the most dominant champion in history and if anyone challenges him, he will end their career. He finishes by saying that tonight, Dave Batista will finally rest in peace

Match 3
WWE Tag Titles
Idol Stevens & K.C. James (c) vs. Mike Mizanin & Jamie Noble

A squash match, heavily dominated by Stevens & James with little offence on Mizanin's & Noble's part, with the exception of some underhanded tactics to gain cheap shots.

The end comes when Stevens & James hit 'the Miz' with a double powerbomb for the easy win.

Winners and still WWE Tag Team Champions: Idol Stevens & K.C. James

Backstage Booker T is concerned about his upcoming match with Kane. Sharmell tries to calm him down, saying he has beaten the likes of Bobby Lashley, Batista, the Big Show and John Cena. King Booker still looks petrified.

Match 4
Booker T (w/Sharmell) vs. Kane

Kanes music hits and he walks down to the ring looking in a trance-like state while footage is shown of him decimating Umaga at Wrestlemania.

King Booker's music plays and he reluctantly makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Sharmell. He cautiously enters the ring and the match starts.

Kane dominates for several minutes, using his superior power to throw Booker from one side of the ring to the other, squashing him with a running elbow in each corner. Booker finally gets a break when Sharmell manages to trip Kane when he runs off the ropes, causing him to turn on her momentarily. Booker manages to gather some momentum and hits a 'book-end' on Kane, who sits up. A shocked Booker T goes for another 'book-end' but Kane catches him with a chokeslam.

Sharmell climbs up onto the apron and trys to distract the referee but Kane grabs her by the hair and pulls her over the ropes before Regal & Taylor storm the ring to attack him from behind as the referee calls for the bell. They beat him down before Regal has Taylor hold Kane in position whilst he hits him with the brass knuckles, laying him out.

Booker, Sharmell, Regal and Taylor leave up the ramp way but see an emotionless Kane sit up, covered in his own blood, on the screen. The quartet looks horrified before continuing to the back.

Winner: Kane (DQ)

Backstage Batista interviewed about his non-title match with the Undertaker, up next. He says that he is saving his rematch claus for another day, tonight he just wants to prove that he can beat the phenon in a straight match, with no weapons and no interferences.

Match 5
Non-Title Match
The Undertaker (c) vs. Batista

Undertaker makes his lengthy entrance to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Similarly Batista makes his way down and the match gets underway.

Both get a good measure of offence in the opening minutes of the match, with Batista hitting several clotheslines and the Undertaker responding with a big boot to the face.

Batista then manages to hit Taker with a spear off the ropes, after ducking a clothesline. Batista takes advantage and sends Taker to the corner, where he climbs to the second rope and starts the punches to a 10 count from the crowd, before Taker manages to pick him up and slam him down with a powerbomb. When Batista gets back on his feet, he turns around and walks into a chokeslam. Instead of going for the pin, Taker picks Batista up and continues the assualt, getting him in an arm twist and going for an 'old school' off the top rope but Batista counters by pulling Taker off the top rope and slamming him down hard on the mat.

A stunned Taker comes round into a kick to the mid section before Batista lifts him up and hits him with the 'Batista Bomb' for the 3 count.

Batista is clearly pleased with his win and leaves the ring, gesturing that he's going to take back the World Heavyweight Title soon. The Undertaker looks stunned that he lost the match and leaves with the title, looking very concerned.

Winner: Batista

I know this isn't much for feedback, but to be honest not much to report, all-round you presented 3 pretty solid shows. But that's also the point of my feedback. You presented 3 solid shows? Kid are you crazy? lol. I was going to start my own "Book This" promotion but couldn't be bothered writing one show. And here you're doing three!!! You have my respect, lol.

Only thing I didn't like was The Highlanders on RAW. They interrupted a match between Val Venis and Rob Conway about a tag-team feud. Not only does this demean Venis and Conway but it also wastes a great opportunity for better storytelling. It would have been better to have the Highlanders come to the ring after the double-win in the 4-way #1 contender's match. They could have come down after Hardys and Cade/Murdoch won and beat them both down. This would make the whole tag-team situation just that extra bit more interesting. BUT again, very solid writing. Vince should give you a job. On your lonesome you put together 3 better shows than 3 whole different creative teams, each working soley on a single brand.

Thanks for the feedback, I have a months worth in advance which I'll transfer over from the other site. I'm putting it on both to get as much feedback as poss basically.

Thanks for the comments, ANY feedback/criticisms is/are appreciatted very much.

RAW

RAW kicks off with DX making their way out to the ring. Triple H takes the mic and says how DX are raising the bar and after Backlash, they will have re-established themselves as the most dominant force in the WWE, carrying all of the gold. They say they're starting tonight with the Intercontinental Championship as Shawn Michaels squares off against the current champ, Chris Masters

Match 1
Intercontinental Title
Chris Masters (c) (w/Ken Doane) vs. Shawn Michaels (w/Triple H)

Masters makes his way down to the ring with Doane, looking understandably concerned.

The match opens with Michaels backing Masters into the corner with a number of right hands before Masters powers out, shoving Michaels tumbling accross the ring. Michaels gains some momentum and goes for a flying forearm off the ropes but Masters doesn't budge. He then levels Shawn with a huge clothesline, almost beheading him before going on to dominate, lifting Michaels up for a gorilla press slam followed by a hanging vertical suplex. He then flings Michaels to the ropes who tries to counter with a flying cross body but Masters catches him and nails him with a fallaway slam. Masters gets a 2 count before setting Michaels up for a clothesline from hell off the ropes but Triple H manages to trip him, allowing Shawn to nail a distracted Masters with a 'sweet chin music' out of nowhere for a 2 count of his own.

Shawn whips Masters to the ropes but it is reveresed and Masters gets his head down - anticipating a back body drop, but Michaels hits a DDT.

Michaels goes up to the top rope for an elbow drop but Masters manages to roll out of the way. Both competitors get to their feet and trade blows, with Michaels gaining the advantage and then going off the ropes for another flying forearm - which this time grounds a groggy Masters. He then goes to the corner to 'tune up the band' before going for a 'sweet chin music' but Masters side-steps it and gets Shawn in the 'master lock'. Hunter jumps on the apron as Michaels begins to fade, distracting the ref.

A semi-concious Michaels manages to kick back between Masters' legs, hitting him with a low blow, before hitting him with a sweet chin music, as Doane simply watches on. Michaels gets the refs attention, who counts the 3 fall.

DX celebrates, with Michaels holding the belt high with Hunter at the bottom of the rampway. Ken Doane who is at the top of the rampway looks back at an angry Chris Masters and shrugs his shoulders - in an echo from last weeks match when Masters left Doane to get hit with a moonsault.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion: Shawn Michaels

Backstage WWE Champion Edge and the World Tag Team Champions MNM laugh off the idea of DX being the most dominant force - saying they are old and over the hill and that the new team in the WWE 'NME' (Nitro, Mercury/Melina and Edge) ('enemy') are running things now. They go on to say that between them they hold the World Tag Belts, the Women's Title and the WWE Title - making them the most decorated team in the WWE today. They claim to be the future and say that Jonathon Coachman has put them in charge for one night only. They promise a night to remember...

Match 2
Val Venis & Rob Conway vs. The Highlanders

A match that was requested by Venis & Conway after last weeks beatdown at the hands of Robbie & Rory.

Conway and Rory start off, with Conway looking very impressive, hitting Rory with a neckbreaker and a cross armbar hold. Robbie makes the save, entering the ring to stomp on Conway and evade a fast finish to the match. Conway continues to punish Rory before tagging in Val, who hits Rory with a fishermans suplex for a pinfall attempt. Robbie again breaks up the pinfall, giving the Highlanders a third life in the match. Val continues by hitting Rory with a half nelson slam before signalling for the 'money shot'. Robbie again interferes, pulling the ropes to cause Val to straddle the turnbuckle, allowing Rory to hit a top rope hurricarana. A stunned Val manages to crawl over to Conway and make the tag, but lies exhausted by his corner. Rory tags Robbie in.

Conway enters, levelling Robbie with a number of right hands and plants him with the 'ego trip' but before he can make the pin, Rory comes back into the ring with a chair and nails Conway flat out, causing the referee to call for the bell. The Highlanders then hit Val with a 'double fireman's carry slam' to leave the superstars laid out in the ring for the second week in a row.

Winners: Val Venis & Rob Conway (DQ)

Backstage NME are lounging around in the boss's office in front of a big screen, watching the show. Nitro tells Mercury that he doesn't think it's fair that they have to face two teams at Backlash, after both Matt Hardy and Lance Cade won their teams #1 contenders places last week. Mercury agrees and they announce 2 huge matches for tonight, the first one being a 2 on 2 street fight between Team Xtreme and Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch, with the winners of that match going on to face the team of Randy Orton & John Cena.

Match 3
2 on 2 street fight
Team Xtreme vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch

Both teams stare each other down before all four come to blows in the middle of the ring. Cade & Murdoch use their brute force to beat the Hardys down, with Cade throwing Jeff over the top rope to the outside, leaving Matt Hardy to fall victim to the 2 on 1 assault. They throw him to the ropes and cut him off with a double shoulder block before picking him up for a double vertical suplex.

By now Jeff has slid in the ring behind them with a trash can, nailing Murdoch but getting laid out by Cade, who throws him off the ropes and hits a lariot. Matt then hits Cade from behind and lands a reverse ddt and a second rope leg drop before stomping him out of the ring to the outside. He then flings Murdoch to the corner and the Hardys hit a 'poetry in motion'. Matt then hits a plancha over the top rope onto Cade as the Hardys go to collect weapons from under the ring.

They pull out a table and the two re-enter the ring. Matt sets it up while Jeff goes to pick up a recovering Murdoch but is distracted when 'NME's' music plays. Cade then slides into the ring with a chair to level Matt as Murdoch stuns a distracted Jeff with a jawbreaker. Cade & Murdoch then execute the 'sweet and sour' on Jeff for the pinfall and the win. They then pick him up and slam him through the table with a double powerbomb. The Hardys are rolled out of the ring and helped to the back by officials as Cade & Murdoch await Orton & Cena

Winners: Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch

Match 4
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. John Cena & Randy Orton

Lance Cade and Randy Orton start the match, with the fatigue from the last match giving Orton the advantage. The two trade moves before Orton lands Cade with an RKO, just minutes into the match but before he can go for a pinfall the lights go down and DX's music plays, accompanied by a dim green light illuminating the ring. Orton and Cena are both in the ring looking up at the rampway when Triple H and Shawn Michaels come out of the crowd and into the ring behind them, knocking them both down. The ref calls for the bell and Murdoch helps Cade to the back. DX beat down on Orton & Cena before Michaels hits Orton with a 'sweet chin music' for a second week running as Hunter lands Cena with a 'pedigree'.

Mickie starts off strong but the numbers soon catch up with her when Edge pulls her hair in the corner, yanking her down to the mat, whilst Johnny Nitro purposfully looks away. Melina then hits a swinging neckbreaker before taunting the crowd. She then picks Mickie up by the hair but is met by some right hands and a 'mick kick'. He then takes control, dropping Thorn with a ddt when the lights go down and a dim red light illuminates the ring, similar to last week. A gothic cross appears on the screen before there is a cracking sound and when the lights go up, it is clear that Thorn has laid the Sandman out with his own singapore cane.

He covers Sandman for the win before hoisting him up for a crucifix powerbomb, adding insult to injury.

Winner: Kevin Thorn (w/Ariel)

He says it doesn't matter if he has to face one man, or four, he's been overcoming the odds for the past year now and he isn't going to give up until he wins back his ECW World Title, because that's all that matters to him. He continues saying that he almost had the title won on last weeks ECW and if Test thinks he's through with him after he frog splashed him through a table and Show think he's through with them after landing him with a van terminator, they're both wrong. He leaves without doing his Rob Van Dam gimmick looking fired up.

Match 2
Non-Title Match

They lock up again and Lashley continues to dominate, throwing Punk to the corner so hard that he drops down to a seated position on the mat. Lashley grabs him by the boots and tries to yank him off the ropes but Punk counters with a backflip and lands on his feet before ducking a clothesline to land a neckbreaker. Punk immediatley goes for the 'devil lock' texas cloverleaf but Lashley quickly makes it to the ropes.

Burke goes for the 'elijah experience' but Van Dam hits him in the mid section and backflips out of it before hitting him with another spinning heel kick. Van Dam then places the chair on Burke and runs off the ropes for the 'rolling thunder' and the three count, eliminating his first opponant.

Almost immediatley, Terkay comes out and goes under the ring pulling out a table. A tiring Van Dam runs off the ropes and hits the table into Terkay with a baseball slide, before diving over the top rope to hit him with a plancha. He then sets up the table whilst Terkay recovers, before slamming him with another chair for a 2 count. Van Dam looks shocked and plants Terkay with a second chair shot for the pinfall, eliminating his second opponant.

Holly, who has made his way out with a steel chair of his own during the pinfall, batters RVD accross the back, causing him to roll back into the ring. Holly goes for the 'alabama slam' but RVD rolls over for a 2 count. Holly gets back in control quickly, hitting a sitout suplex slam before going to the outside to collect the table. He returns to the ring and sets up the table in the corner before turning his attention back to Van Dam, who has managed to recover and lashes out with punches to the midsection as Holly picks him up by his hair. He then runs off the ropes and knocks Holly down with a shoulder block to gather some momentum. He then picks up a chair and lays Holly out with the 'van daminator' but before he can get the pinfall, Test storms the ring early and steamrollers Van Dam with a running big boot. He then hits him with several chair shots before hoisting him up onto his shoulders for the 'spinning fireman's carry slam' for the 3-fall and win.

Following the match, Test picks up a savaged Van Dam in a pumphandle slam and drives him through the table Holly set up earlier. Test stands over Van Dam's body as ECW goes off the air.

He gets on the mic and says he wants to get his hands on Triple H tonight, after being ambushed two weeks in a row, but instead Randy Orton's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. At this point, last weeks victim of interference in a Thorn match, the Sandman makes his way out down the isle, with a singapore cane of his own in hand and begins to cheer Dreamer on.

Thorn gets a measure of offence, hitting Dreamer in the stomach and landing a gutbuster for a 2 count. Dreamer comes back, reversing an attempted chokebomb with a 'dreamer ddt' when the lights go down and the pentagon appears on screen, followed by a voice whispering 'blood'. When the lights go up, the Sandman has been given a bloodbath on the outside and Gangrel is stood behind him. Dreamer tries to warn him but Gangrel nails the Sandman with the 'impaler ddt' on the hard floor. Dreamer is then rolled up from behind by a recovering Thorn who grabs his pants for extra leverage and the 3 count for the win.

After the match, Gangrel enters the ring and he and Thorn beat down on Dreamer before Thorn delivers the 'crucifix powerbomb'.

Ariel enters and the three gothic figures stand tall with their hands joined, raised high in the air.

He runs down to the ring, diving straight in and attacking Test, backing him into the corner with his shoulder in his midsection. Daivari directs Khali who hits Lashley from behind before throwing him to the ropes for an attempted big boot, which Lashley ducks and runs off the other ropes for a spear. Following this, Test comes running out of the corner and nails Lashley with a big boot to the face, knocking him down. Daivari, who has gone to the outside to collect a chair, rolls back into the ring and jabs Lashley in the stomach while Test holds him from behind. The Great Khali, who has just recovered from the spear then powerbombs Lashley when a heavily bandaged Rob Van Dam comes running down to the ring with a chair. Footage of Kennedy's move to RAW from this past Monday is shown.

The show opens with Theodore Long making his way down to the ring to address the state of Smackdown after the loss of one of it's superstars and moreover that, the United States Title. Long accuses Jonathon Coachman of 'poaching' the title and superstar (who he doesn't name) but says if the Coach wants to play dirty, he can play dirty too. He continues, saying he has an announcement of his own in the pipeline, which will be revealed at the RAW PPV, Backlash, in 10 days time. He promises that it will change the face of Friday Night Smackdown, before leaving.

Backstage, Vito, Scotty 2 Hotty and Funaki are seen discussing this major announcement and Kennedy's jump to RAW.

Match 1
The Boogeyman vs. Chavo Guerrero (w/Vickie Guerrero)

Chavo looks scared and uncertain as the Boogeyman moves unpredictably around the ring, before being backed into the corner. From here, Chavo evades being crushed by a running clothesline and tries to go for a belly to back suplex, which is countered by the Boogeyman, who goes for a pumphandle slam, which is countered again by Chavo who gets a back drop suplex. He goes for a quick pin but is pushed off and into the air by the Boogeyman, causing him to roll out of the ring.

The Boogeyman follows Chavo to the outside and stalks him around the ring, finally getting a hold of him and slamming him face first into the announce table, before Vickie tries to attack from behind. The Boogeyman turns his attention to her, giving Chavo enough time to hit a belly to back german suplex on the floor, before rolling back into the ring, where the ref starts a 10 count.

The Boogeyman makes it back into the ring at 8 to be met by stomps by Chavo, who uses a body slam to position him for a frog splash off the top rope. The Boogeyman manages to roll out of the way at the last minute. They get to their feet and the Boogeyman goes for a chokebomb, which Chavo counters with a kick to the midsection and the 'three amigos' suplex combination, rolling through on the last one for the 3 count and win.

After the pinfall, MVP runs down to the ring with a chair and nails the Boogeyman, who's just got to his feet. He then throws the chair down and leaves.

Match 2
2 on 1 Handicap Match
William Regal & Dave Taylor vs. Kane

In a match sanctioned from the past two weeks of beatdowns at the hands of Regal & Taylor, Kane finally gets his chance at revenge.

Regal & Taylor make their way to the ring to huge boos from the crowd. They look confidant and aren't phased by Kane's entrance.

Taylor starts off going for hard punches but Kane comes back with a stiff uppercut, grounding his opponant immediatley. Taylor shakes it off and makes a dive at Kane's legs, to try and wrestle him to the ground. Kane stays upright and hits Taylor in the forehead before picking him up in a double handed choke and throwing him to the corner. He follows up by whipping Taylor to the opposite corner and a running clothesline. Taylor stumbles to his corner but Kane grabs him by the leg and pulls him to the centre of the ring before pciking him up and whipping him off the ropes for a side walk slam.

Kane then goes up to the top rope for a flying clothesline, which he hits, devastating Taylor. He then picks Taylor up in an overhead press and throws him onto Regal, who is stood on the apron, forcing a tag.

He goes to the outside to collect Regal, picking him up for a body slam on the floor. When he recovers, Kane hits him with a running big boot, before rolling Regal back into the ring to continue the punishment. He throws Regal off the ropes for a tilt-a-whirl slam, but doesn't go for the pin. Instead he measures Regal and runs off the ropes, not noticing a recovering Taylor on the outside who has collected a chair. Taylor hits Kane when the ref isn't looking, as he tries to run off the ropes, temporarily stunning him. The ref turns his attention to a suspicious looking Taylor on the outside as a recovering Regal pulls the brass knuckles from his pants and knocks Kane down with 'power of the punch', as the numbers game catches up on the monster. He goes for a cover but everyones amazement, Kane kicks out at 2 and a half.

Regal runs off the ropes and hits a running knee to a recovering Kane before looking to Taylor for help. He tags out and they double team Kane, throwing him to the ropes, but Kane counters with a double clothesline. He then knocks them both down continually with right hands before doing his cut-throat gesture. He gets Regal ready for a chokeslam and delivers a boot to Taylor who runs at him. Before anything can happen, Booker T runs down and jumps up on the apron, getting the ref and Kane to shift their focus, allowing Regal to hit a low blow. They then hit a huge double suplex on Kane and both get on top for the double pin to win the match.

Booker gets straight in the ring after the pinfall and demands Regal give Kane another right hand with the brass knuckles. Taylor collects his chair from earlier and places it in the centre of the ring and as a recovering Kane is getting to his feet, Booker hits him with a scissors kick onto it.

The trio leaves Kane lying in the ring for a third week running as we go to a break.

Winners: William Regal & Dave Taylor

When we return from the break, we see Booker T, Sharmell, William Regal and Dave Taylor run into Theodore Long backstage. He says that they shouldn't get too relaxed and puts Booker T in a match later in the night against the fast rising Paul London. He adds that if Regal or Taylor get involved, they'll be fired. He wishes Booker good luck and leaves.

Match 3
WWE Tag Team Titles
Idol Stevens & K.C. James vs. ?

Stevens and James come down to the ring with their title belts. They say they realise there are few tag teams on Smackdown at the moment but they want to be fighting champions. With this in mind, they reveal that they delivered on open challenge this past week, to any tag team from any roster, for a title match tonight. They then invite the mystery tag team to make their way down to the ring. There is a long pause before Benoit's music hits. He makes his way out to the top of the isle with a mic and says he and his partner accept the challenge. He then introduces his partner, who after another long pause, is revealed as being Finlay. They make their way down to the ring and Benoit shakes hands with Stevens and James before the match begins while Finlay stares them down.

Benoit and James start the match in a lock up, with Benoit using his experience to get the better of James, going behind to hit a belly to back suplex. James gets up and they measure each other up again before another lock up, which this time the title holder wins, getting Benoit in a headlock and making it to the corner to allow Stevens to tag in and kick a trapped Benoit in the midsection. He then hits him with a backbreaker onto his knee for a 1 count.

Stevens whips Benoit to the ropes and bends over to anticipate a back body drop but Benoit manages to land him with a double arm underhook ddt. He continues by trying to lock in the crossface but Stevens quickly makes it to the ropes. Benoit tags in an eager Finlay who goes straight to work on the tag team champion with a vicious rough neck assault, including a short arm clothesline and a whip to the corner, followed by a running clothesline. He then knees Stevens in the stomach and hits an arm breaker ddt for a 2 count.

Finlay drags a groggy Stevens to his feet by his hair but Stevens manages to counter with a jawbreaker and rolls over to his corner to tag in James, who runs in with a clothesline to take control of the match for his team again. He then whips Finlay to the ropes and hits him with a high angle spinebuster for a 2 count. He then hits Finlay with a neckbreaker, before tagging in Stevens again. They fling him off the ropes for a slingshot catapult and missile dropkick combination but as they do so, Benoit makes the blind tag as Finlay bounces off the ropes. He enters immediatley and cleans house, with a forearm tackle on Stevens and chops to James, before whipping him off the ropes for a tilt-a-whirl slam. He then gets James with a side back breaker, causing him to roll out of the ring. Benoit turns his attention back to the legal man and goes up to the top turnbuckle for a diving headbutt onto Stevens but misses, causing both men to slowly crawl to their respective corners to make the tag. They make the tag at the same time and Finlay knocks James down and follows up with a powerslam off the ropes for another 2 count.

The end comes when Finlay whips James off the ropes, and ducks down, only to be met with a swinging neckbreaker for the 3 count, and surprise loss.

Benoit looks disappointed and leaves as Finlay comes around, looking disappointed himself for losing the match and not being smart enough for the second week running.

Stevens and James celebrate with their titles after the huge win.

Stevens struggles but finally manages to make it to the bottom rope, forcing Regal to break the hold. Helms locks in a sleeper hold on the grounded Kendrick, who begins to fade, causing Booker, who has just whipped London into the guard rail on the outside, to roll back into the ring and stomp Helms. He then runs Helms over the top rope to the outside, turning his attention to Kendrick, attempting a scissors kick off the ropes as he is getting up. London, who has managed to crawl back in the ring after the assault on the outside, breaks up the pinfall at 2 and fights with Helms. Batista vs. Mark Henry vs. The Undertaker (c)

Batista comes down to the ring first, with the crowd clearly on his side.

Henry makes his way down next to a chorus of boos, and collides with Batista as soon as he gets in the ring.

Batista wins out on the punches, backing Henry up against the ropes before whipping him accross the ring. Henry demonstrates his power with a shoulder barge, knocking Batista down to the mat and visibly weakening him. Henry backs Batista up to te corner and then goes to the opposite one for a running splash, which Batista manages to move out of the way of at the last minute. He then hits Henry and puts him in the corner, using shoulder thrusts to the midsection to fight back. Henry seems unphased and beats Batsita accross the back, before demonstrating his strength, lifting him up and slamming him down again with a powerbomb out of the corner.

Suddenly the sound of bell chimes echo throughout the arena, which is plunged into darkness, as the Undertaker makes his entrance. Henry awaits the deadman, who walks down the isle and stops on the ringsteps, removing his jacket and hat, and raising the World Heavy Championship belt in Henry's face.

Before the Undertaker can get in the ring, a recovering Batista hits Henry from behind. Batista continues with right hands until Taker gets in the ring, when they punch Henry back and fourth between them, until Batista hits him with a running clothesline off the ropes to finally ground the big man. Undertaker then runs off the ropes for a leg drop onto Henry, before staring down Batista.

After a brief pause they collide, with the 'fresh' Undertaker winning out with jabs to Batista's face before a whip to the ropes and big boot, taking him down. Undertaker then gets Batista in a dragon sleeper hold until he begins to fade when a recovering Mark Henry stomps him from behind. Henry picks Taker up by the hair and delivers a headbutt, knocking him down. Taker crawls to the corner where Henry hits a running knee to him. Henry stomps him down some more before turning back to Batista, who is just getting to his feet.

Henry picks him up in a bearhug, using his strength to crush Batista who begins to fade. Match 1
U.S. Title
Ken Kennedy (c) vs. Carlito

Up first is the United States Title match, with Carlito’s music filling the arena as he makes his way down to the ring to huge pops from the crowd. He slides in the ring and climbs to the second rope to raise his hands to the responsive crowd. He exits the ring and awaits Kennedy, who makes his entrance after a brief silence. Kennedy comes down to the ring with the title around his waist, climbing in to do his announcement into the mic that is lowered into the centre of the ring as the lights go down and the spotlight hits him. Kennedy climbs onto the turnbuckle to finish his entrance, shouting ‘Kennedy’ into the mic, but Carlito slides in and hits him from behind.

Kennedy stumbles around the ring trying to avoid the right hands from his opponent, before managing to elbow him in the stomach and hit him with an uppercut. He then whips him to the ropes and bends over for a back body drop but Carlito kicks him in the face and follows up with a clothesline, knocking Kennedy down. Kennedy gets straight back up but is dropkicked back down by Carlito, causing him to tumble out of the ring, where he tries to recover. Carlito climbs through the ropes and hits a springboard moonsault off the second rope to the outside onto a groggy Kennedy, before he picks him up and rolls him back into the ring for a 2 count.

Carlito picks Kennedy up and gets him ready for a ‘lifting reverse STO’ but is countered with elbows to the side of the head. Kennedy then reverses the move to hit an ‘side slam backbreaker’ onto his knee, before stretching Carlito, pushing his chin back as he holds his body across his knee. Kennedy pushes him off and looks fired up. He stomps on Carlito and picks him up by his hair in a reverse facelock, landing him with a reverse ddt, before going up to the top rope for the ‘kenton bomb’ but misses when Carlito manages to roll out of the way at the last second.

Both men slowly come around and trade blows before Kennedy nails a hard kick to the midsection and rains down on Carlito with right hands to take control again. He picks him up by his hair again and whips him to the corner but Carlito jumps to the top turnbuckle, backflipping off and over Kennedy to grab him from behind to hit ‘the back cracker’. Carlito quickly rolls Kennedy over for the pin and gets a 3 count. He grabs the title and roles out of the ring, holding the belt up to cheers from the crowd as an infuriated Kennedy bangs the mat and points to Carlito, shouting that it’s his title.

Winner and new U.S. Champion: Carlito

Backstage, NME are seen together, looking concerned as all of their titles are on the line tonight. Edge, Nitro and Mercury wish Melina luck as she’s up next defending her Womens Title.

Elsewhere, Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long is shown walking backstage, where he knocks on an unmarked door before entering.

Match 2
Women’s Title
Triple Threat Match
Melina (c) vs. Victoria vs. Jillian

Jillian makes her entrance first to a moderate reaction from the crowd followed by Victoria who gets some cheers.

Melina makes her entrance next and walks confidently down to the ring to boos from the crowd.

The three women stare each other down as the bell rings, before Melina and Jillian go for Victoria, who manages to breifly fend them off with right hands, before the numbers game catches up with her. Jillian shoulder barges Victoria in the midsection, driving her into the corner where she pins her for Melina to deliver right hands and a choke with her boot. Jillian then props Victoria on the top rope for a superplex but is fended off, being knocked down to the mat. Victoria launches herself off the second rope, over the downed Jillian, to hit Melina with a flying crossbody into a 2 count.

Jillian gets straight back onto Victoria with an axe handle smash from behind before hitting her with a high angle dropkick near the ropes, to send her tumbling to the outside. Melina, seeing that it is just her and Jillian goes for a quick schoolboy roll up, pulling on her tights to try and get the pinfall but Jillian manages to kick out at 2 and argues with Melina after their co-operation so far. Melina convinces her that they should continue to work together to take out Victoria but as soon as Jillian turns her back again, Melina attacks her from behind, following up with a ‘spinning kneel-out facebuster’. Melina goes for the quick pin but Victoria manages to crawl into the ring and jump on her to break it up.

Victoria picks up Melina and lands her with a ‘spider’s web’ fireman’s carry into a swinging sidewalk slam, landing her in position for a moonsault in the corner. Victoria goes up to the top turnbuckle but a recovering Jillian manages to come from behind and climbs up to the second rope to grab her from behind, but a recovering Melina gets up and under Jillian to powerbomb her as she back body drops Victoria off the top rope.

Melina then jumps on Jillian for the pin, holding her tights out of the sight of the ref for the 3 count and win.

Melina quickly rolls out of the ring and celebrates with her title in the isle, visibly relieved and ecstatic at her successful title defence.

Winner and still Women’s Champion: Melina

Backstage, Theodore Long is shown saying good luck through the unmarked door he entered as he leaves, closing the door, smiling and then walking off.

Elsewhere, Candice interviews Ken Doane about his match up next against Chris Masters. Doane says he may not be 100% in health after blacking out in the masterlock twice, in as many weeks, but he wants Masters blood and he isn’t going to go down without a fight.

In another segment, Cryme Tyme are seen taking bets on the up-coming match, with Snitsky, Super Crazy and Viscera putting all their money on Masters and Eugene putting his money on Doane. They laugh at Eugene but take his money anyway.

Match 3
Chris Masters vs. Ken Doane

Masters makes his usual, long entrance first, posing and showing off his impressive physique to major heat from the crowd, before swaggering down to the ring with a confident smirk on his face.

Doane’s music hits and he runs down the ramp and slides into the ring to collide with Masters, hitting him with right hands until Masters pushes him in the face, sending him tumbling backwards. J.R. and the King sound concerned for Doane, saying he shouldn’t be competing in his bad health after blacking out in the masterlock two weeks running.

Masters stalks Doane, who tries to shuffle back to the corner and grab the ropes but Masters grabs him by the legs and pulls him out, flipping him over, causing him to land on his front. He then picks Doane up in a front facelock, applying pressure to his neck, but Doane bravely fights back with right hands to the midsection and a running forearm off the ropes to knock him down. Doane capitilises, using his speed and agility to his advantage, hitting a dropkick off the ropes to Masters’ face as he sits up. He then grabs Masters right leg for repeated elbow drops, in an attempt to ground him, before locking in the figure-four leglock. Masters writhes in pain but uses his superior strength to turn over onto his stomach, reversing the move on Doane, who manages to crawl to the ropes, making the ref break the hold.

Masters stomps on Doane, who is deteriorating fast, before picking him up for a devastating front powerslam. He then poses to the crowd, riling them up to get a heated reaction.

An overconfident Masters then drags him up to his feet and picks him up for a hanging vertical suplex but Doane manages to wriggle free and land, getting Masters in an inverted facelock before spinning over to hit him with a rolling cutter.

An exhausted Doane then drags himself up to the top turnbuckle and hits the diving leg drop onto Masters, following up with a pin, hooking the leg to make sure of a 3 fall.

After the match, Doane rolls out of the ring and makes his way to the back as Masters slowly comes round. When Doane gets to the entranceway he turns back to a deadly stare from him.

Winner: Ken Doane

Backstage, Cryme Tyme, Snitsky, Super Crazy and Viscera are devastated by the upset, reluctantly handing all of their money to an excited Eugene.

Elsewhere, Candice interviews Val Venis & Rob Conway. Val says The Highlanders are going to pay for their sneak attack from this past Monday Night on RAW, when Venis & Conway were thrown off the rampway to the floor below. Val says they have a lot further to fall from the top of a steel cage before Rob adds that they have nowhere to run this time, reminding the crowd that the match can only be won by a pinfall or submission. They both leave looking fired up.

Match 4
Steel Cage Match
Val Venis & Rob Conway vs. The Highlanders

The cage is lowered around the ring as the lights go down and blue lights flicker around the structure. When it is secured and checked by officials, the lights go up and Val Venis & Rob Conway make their way out to cheers. They climb in the ring and shake the walls, checking the structure.

The Highlanders make their way out next to major heat. They cautiously approach the structure before climbing through the door and ropes where Venis & Conway immediately attack them, as officials lock and padlock the door shut.

Venis & Conway deliver a flurry of right hands to Robbie & Rory, before whipping them both to the ropes, meeting them with simultaneous running clotheslines. They then pick the duo up and run them into opposite walls of the steel cage, over the top rope into the mesh face first, receiving huge cheers from the crowd. They continue to work well together, pounding Robbie & Rory in opposite corners before whipping them into one another in the middle of the ring, following up with double pins, which The Highlanders manage to kick out of after 2.

Conway picks up Rory and nails him with a neckbreaker before joining his partner in the corner to double team Robbie. They stomp away at him before hoisting him up onto the top turnbuckle for a superplex but Rory manages to come from behind and hit Conway into the steel cage, following up with a headbutt and side slam backbreaker, whilst Robbie fights back against Val. Rory then assists his partner in the corner, getting under Val to lift him up into an electric chair drop position, which he hits when Robbie hits a dropkick to their opponant off the top turnbuckle.

The Highlanders look to capitalise, hitting Conway with a double dropkick before stomping him. They then turn back to Val, with Robbie hitting a double underhook powerbomb, before he whips his team-mate of the ropes, lifting him into the air over his shoulder for a splash. The Highlanders then stand tall, getting booed off the crowd, before they go to pick up their opponents.

Robbie gets Val in position for a powerbomb whilst Rory does the same with Conway but they manage to back body drop the Highlanders and make a comeback, knocking them down continously with right hands. Val then hits Robbie with a kick to the midsection and sit out powerbomb, whilst Conway hits Rory with a powerbomb of his own, leaving the Highlanders flat out in the middle of the ring.

Conway & Venis then go up to the top turnbuckles at opposite corners of the ring and point to one another before Val delivers ‘the money shot’ splash to Robbie whilst Conway drops a diving elbow drop onto Rory. They then both cover each the Highlanders for a 3 count and the win. Conway and Venis embrace before leaving the ring and making their way to the back as the Highlanders lie motionless in the middle of the ring.

Winners: Val Venis & Rob Conway

Backstage, Cryme Tyme catch up with Eugene and ask him if he would like to buy some magic beans, which he gladly does so, handing over all the cash he made earlier in the night in exchange for some candy. Shad and JTG walk away laughing with one another as a confused Eugene inspects his purchase.

Elsewhere, NME are seen warming up for their respective matches. Edge and Melina talk up Nitro & Mercury for the six-man tornado tag match for the World Tag Titles, up next.

In another segment, Candice interviews Cade & Murdoch. They say they have power on their side and add that it’s taken so long for them to get this title shot, they aren’t about to screw it up. They conclude by reminding the audience that they don’t even have to pin the champions to win the titles, before walking off to make their way to the ring.

Match 5
World Tag Team Titles
Tornado Tag Match
NME (c) vs. Team Xtreme vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch

A video package is aired, showing a montage of the events from past weeks between these three teams, leading up to tonight’s match.

The Hardy Boys music thunders through the arena as they make their way out to a standing ovation from the crowd. They run down to the ring and jump onto the ropes in opposite corners, hyping the excited crowd up.

Next up, Cade & Murdoch make their way out to a moderate reaction and wait around the side of the ring as the Hardys are asked to leave the ring for Nitro & Mercury’s entrance.

The NME music blares out as roadies roll out the red carpet and photographers bunch in the isle to snap the world tag team champions as they make their flamboyant entrance. They swagger down to the ring in the big fur coats and shades, before bouncing up and down on the ring apron with the titles hanging from their pants.

The Hardys who have had enough slide into the ring and hit Nitro & Mercury off the apron from behind with running dropkicks before trying to fend off Cade & Murdoch, who have also slid into the ring. The big men use their size and power advantage to beatdown on the brothers but Jeff manages to counter a powerbomb attempt by Cade with punches to the head, causing him to fall back, with Jeff landing in a seated position across his chest. At the same time, Matt manages to counter Murdoch’s attempt at a clothesline with a ‘side effect’ sit out side slam. Before they can gain any momentum, Nitro & Mercury, who have slid into the ring, attack them and the rival teams trade blows, before a recovering Cade & Murdoch come round to help dismantle the fan favourites. Nitro & Mercury go to work on Jeff whilst Cade & Murdoch isolate Matt in the opposite corner.

In one corner, Mercury slams Jeff onto his knee with a backbreaker before Nitro goes to the outside to leap over the top rope and deliver an elbow drop whilst in the opposite corner Cade & Murdoch take turns at hitting Matt. The two dominant tag teams then set up the Hardys for whips across the ring into one another but Matt ducks, allowing Jeff to leapfrog him, only to be met by knockdowns in opposite corners. Nitro & Mercury, who now have Matt, land him with a snapshot, whilst Cade & Murdoch hit Jeff with the ‘sweet and sour’ lariot and chop block combination, on the opposite side of the ring. The Hardys roll out of the ring devastated, leaving Nitro & Mercury to face off against Cade & Murdoch.

Nitro & Mercury try to persuade their opponents to shake hands but instead kick them in the midsection and hit them with ddts, before posing for the crowd to the drowning sound of boos. Nitro then hits the split leg handstand into a 180-degree leg drop on Cade whilst Mercury picks Murdoch up and throws him over the top rope to the outside. They then concentrate on Cade, raining down on the big man with a flurry of right hands before Mercury gets him in a belly to back german suplex position, hitting him with the move as Nitro triggers it with a superkick to Cade’s jaw. Nitro then runs off the ropes to hit a baseball slide kick on Jeff who is recovering on the outside but Jeff manages to sidestep it and hit him to the floor on the outside. On another side of the ring, Matt grabs Mercury’s legs, tripping him and dragging him to the outside also.

Jeff knocks Nitro down with right hands to the back before going around the ring to jump on the guard-rail and hit a running, flying clothesline off it. On the other side of the ring Matt trades blows with Mercury before ducking a shot to pick him up and drop him on the guard-rail face first. A recovering Murdoch comes from behind to hit Matt, before whipping him into a ring-post and grabbing him by the neck to roll him back in the ring. On the inside Murdoch and a recovering Cade go for a double powerbomb on Matt, but Jeff manages to hit a running chop on Cade’s leg from behind just in time, allowing Matt to land a facebuster on him while Murdoch goes to beatdown on Jeff. Matt comes to his aid straight away landing a neckbreaker on Murdoch but as he gets back up, Nitro, who is on the apron, hits a springboard dropkick off the top rope from the outside, knocking him down. Jeff then desperately swings for Nitro, who ducks and picks him up from behind for a ‘feint backdrop wheelbarrow facebuster’ as freshly re-entered Mercury grabs Jeffs head to make it a double team sitdown facebuster. Nitro tells Mercury to collect a ladder from under the ring while he beats down their flailing opponents in the ring. Mercury slides the ladder in and they set it up in the corner as the crowd goes wild. They then hit Murdoch with a double dropkick to send him tumbling through the ropes to the outside, before hitting Cade with a double running clothesline over the ropes at the other side of the ring. Nitro then picks up Matt by the hair as Mercury does the same with Jeff but the Hardys break free and deliver right hands to them. Jeff trips Mercury by his legs to deliver a double leg drop to the groin whilst Matt manages to kick Nitro in the stomach and land a ‘twist of fate’. Jeff then whips Mercury to Matt, who hits him with a ‘side effect’, causing him to role out of the ring, before Jeff climbs to the top turnbuckle behind the ladder in the corner of the ring. He then leapfrogs the ladder landing with a legdrop on Nitro as Matt dives over the top rope to the outside onto Cade & Murdoch with a plancha to take them out. Jeff climbs onto Nitro as the ref makes the 3 count to declare the Hardys as the new world tag team champions.

Jeff roles out of the ring to join his brother as the ref hands them the belts, which they raise to a huge ovation form the crowd before making their way to the back.

Winners and new World Tag Team Champions: Team Xtreme

Backstage, Edge and Melina are speechless at their teams’ loss and look at one another in disbelief. Melina tells him he has to focus on his match up against Randy Orton for the WWE Title now, which they can’t afford to lose.

Elsewhere, Cryme Tyme are shown counting their money out in a pile and Shad announces they have $2000. Maria walks past, causing the duo to stop and stare at her, shouting comments, whilst Torrie Wilson sneaks up in the background to steal the money, putting it down her top before her and Maria walk off. Shad & JTG make a comment about how stupid the ‘ho’s’ are around here before saying they’d ‘have a good time with her’. They then slap hands and laugh with one another, not realising what has happened.

Vladimir Kozlov’s music hits the arena and he comes out to a mixed reception. He climbs into the ring and gets on a mic, telling the people that he is a Russian fighter and is here to represent his people and once again put Russia on the map as the super-power it once was. Suddenly, the World’s Greatest Tag Teams’ music hits and they come out with mics telling Kozlov that there’s only one super-power in the world and that’s America. They go on to say they represent everything about America and say that if he wants to come to their country and wage a war, then he’ll have to go through them. They then drop the mics and storm the ring but Kozlov demonstrates his power, grabbing Benjamin by the neck to deliver vicious knee strikes while Haas hits away at him to no avail. Kozlov then kicks Haas in the midsection and lifts him up for a hanging suplex powerslam before scooping Benjamin up for a ‘torture rack’ across his shoulders, before dropping to a seated position to flex Benjamin’s back with the impact. The big Russian then leaves the decimated World’s Greatest Tag Team in the ring and makes his way to the back.

Backstage, Candice interviews Randy Orton about his WWE Title match up next. He says that he proved he can beat Edge this past Monday Night on RAW and says he is going to go out and do it again for the title tonight. Orton says he has worked with Edge so he knows his moves and how he thinks before concluding by saying he’s walking out as the champion tonight.

Elsewhere, Eugene is seen planting his magic beans when Maria comes along to distract him. Torrie sneaks into the picture and places the $2000 ontop of where he has planted the beans before sneaking away. Maria then waves goodbye to Eugene and walks away, leaving him to turn around to find the money. Eugene gets excited and throws the money in the air around him.

In another segment, DX are shown warming up for the their match later tonight against John Cena. Elsewhere John Cena is shown deep in concentration, obviously contemplating the serious nature of the match.

Match 6
WWE Title
Edge (c) (w/Melina) vs. Randy Orton

Edge makes his way out first with Melina to major heat from the crowd, as they both hold their titles high on their way down. They get in the ring and Melina dances around Edge provocatively as they taunt the crowd.

After a brief few seconds of silence, Randy Orton’s music hits and he makes his way out to huge pops from the crowd. He gets in the ring and gets the crowd hyped in the corner before turning to face Edge as Melina climbs down out of the ring.

The bell rings and the two men measure each other as they move around the ring before finally locking up. Orton wins out and pushes Edge tumbling backwards. Edge gets up and composes himself, wasting time by staying away from Orton before they lock up again. This time Orton powers Edge back into the corner and hits him with shoulder thrusts to the midsection before climbing to the second rope to mount him for right hands to the forehead as the crowd chants the 10 count. Melina comes round the ring and shouts at Orton from the outside, distracting him long enough for Edge to powerbomb Orton out of the corner. He tries to follow up with a pin but Orton kicks out at a 1 count. Edge picks him up and whips him of the ropes for a back drop, before he props himself on the second rope in the corner and measures Orton for a missile dropkick. He goes for another quick pinfall but only gets a 2 count.

Edge drags Orton to the bottom rope, where he chokes him until the ref breaks it up, causing Edge to complain to the ref and distract him long enough for Melina to get up on the apron and get Orton in a head scissors lock with her legs. Edge comes back and picks him up again in a front facelock, going for an impaler ddt, but Orton counters with an impressive northern lights suplex, temporarily stunning the rated r superstar. Edge gets straight back up but is knocked down again by Orton with stiff uppercuts, before being whipped off the ropes to be met with a high angle dropkick, giving Orton the upper hand again.

Orton sits Edge up and applies a reverse chinlock hold with his knee against his back to apply extra pressure, causing him to fade fast. Edge’s hand is raised and dropped twice as Melina bangs the apron on the outside to motivate her man, and on the third time he comes back to life and manages to stand up out of the move. Orton meets him with a kick to the midsection and a gutwrench elevated neckbreaker, before going to a pin, but Melina climbs on the apron to distract the ref, as the crowd counts to 5.

Suddenly, Mickie James runs down to the ring and yanks Melina down, causing her to land face first on the apron, before fighting the diva to the back. The damage is already done as Orton is distracted long enough for Edge to recover and rush him with a spear, pinning him immediately and putting his legs on the bottom rope out of sight from the ref for extra leverage to get the 3 count and win.

Edge quickly rolls out of the ring and grabs his WWE Title off the ref and backs up the isle as a furious Orton shouts at him.

Winner and still WWE Champion: Edge

Backstage, Theodore Long is shown with Jonathon Coachman. Long tells the Coach that he’s here to make peace and clear the air, saying there’re no hard feelings over the events of the past week. They shake hands and he leaves Coach’s office, closing the door behind him before laughing to himself and walking off.

Elsewhere, DX are shown confidently walking backstage, looking fired up, with Shawn carrying the Intercontinental Title over his shoulder.

Match 7
Intercontinental Title
2 on 1 Handicap Match
Triple H & Shawn Michaels (c) vs. John Cena

John Cena makes his way out first to a standing ovation from the sold out crowd. He gets on the mic and dedicates the match to all his fans before saluting. He then calls DX out, saying if he’s going to go down, he’ll go down fighting.

DX’s music hits and they make their way out to a mixed reaction. They walk down to the ring, not breaking eye contact with Cena, and Shawn passes the referee the Intercontinental Title.

They try to enter the ring from opposite sides but Cena makes it difficult for them before Hunter bites the bullet and slides in, to be met with stomps, allowing Shawn to come from behind and hit Cena. DX re-group and the numbers catch up with Cena, who is backed into the corner and stomped down in it repeatedly by the duo with harsh kicks. They then pick him up and Shawn chokes him in the corner with his boot before the ref breaks it up. Triple H then whips Cena off the ropes and hits him with a running high knee strike but doesn’t go for a pin. Instead, he picks him up and holds him while Shawn ‘tunes up the band’ for a ‘sweet chin music’ superkick, which Cena manages to duck, causing Shawn to strike his own partner out cold.

Shawn looks stunned and Cena takes advantage, hitting him with a spin out powerbomb, followed by a belly to belly suplex, after whipping Michaels to the ropes. Cena then poses and hits the ‘five knuckle shuffle’ off the ropes before going for a pinfall, which Michaels kicks out of at 2 and a half, almost giving Cena the win. Cena then measures Michaels for an ‘F-U’, which he hits and follows up with a pinfall as the crowd goes wild but the recovering Triple H, manages to break it up at another 2 and a half.

Cena picks him up and whips him off the ropes and leans forward, anticipating a back body drop but Hunter counters with a ‘facebreaker knee smash’ and clothesline, taking Cena down and giving himself time to recuperate. The two make it to their feet and trade blows, with Cena winning out and running off the ropes, only to be countered by Hunter who grabs him in a sleeper hold. He wears Cena down, who eventually looks to be out on his feet, but comes back with elbows to the head and runs off the ropes again for a clothesline attempt which Hunter again counters, this time with a neckbreaker.

Hunter goes over to Shawn and shakes him to help him come round. Shawn shakes it off and gets to his feet, allowing the duo to once again go to double team Cena. They pick him up and whip him off the ropes, but are both met with a flying shoulder block. Cena comes back knocking the duo down with right hands before hoisting Shawn up for another ‘F-U’, which he nails, followed by a drop toe hold on Triple H, before he locks in the ‘STFU’ submission hold. Hunter panics and shouts in pain but finally manages to crawl to the bottom rope, causing the referee to make Cena break the hold.

Cena stands tall to a roar of cheers from the crowd before measuring a recovering Triple H for an ‘F-U’, who shoves the referee into Cena, knocking him out. Cena then hits Hunter with the ‘F-U’, leaving him lying motionless, before going to revive the ref.

Suddenly, Smackdown superstars Gregory Helms, MVP, The Miz, Jamie Noble and Sylvan storm the ring to a chorus of boos. Cena swats them off and cleans house, with harsh knockdowns and an ‘F-U’ to Sylvan as the crowd goes wild. He clears the ring and shouts to the interfering superstars but turns around to be met by a superkick by Michaels, followed by a pedigree by Triple H. Shawn then pins Cena for the 3 count by the ref who eventually comes round as Hunter slumps in the corner exhausted.

After the match, Hunter calls for the steel cage to be lowered. They pick up Cena’s body and run him into the sides of the cage, before dragging his face across the meshing to open up his forehead. Shawn then goes up to the top turnbuckle to hit a diving elbow drop on him as Thoedore Long makes his way down to the ring, carrying a mic. He says he would like to welcome Smackdown’s latest additions, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, Degeneration X and the Intercontinental Title. He then says he warned Coach not to play him before Hunter takes the mic and says it's just like they told Coach he’d pay for his constant interference. They then shake hands with Long and don Smackdown t-shirts, before doing the signature crotch chops over a bloodied John Cena, before raising hands with the interfering Smackdown stars and Long, as Backlash goes off the air.
