Getting Noticed By Management
Okay so I'm watching my Survivor Series 1987 DVD and I have watched my Summer Slam DVD's while watching them when they get to a Ricky The Dragon Steamboat match they always dub The Finks voice with The Fink's voice is it just me or has anyone else noticed that.

To me it just seems really odd that they dub Howard's voice for no apparent reason.

Your thoughts.

Notice how Steamboat's music is suddenly louder too. That wasn't his original music. It's dubbed in as well. I assume the voice is dubbed because the dubbed music drowns out the original voice. Steamboat is not the only one this has happened for.

As Brain said, it's not the original Fink's voice they are dubbing over, but rather the original entrance music for the wrestlers. Since the WWE doesn't have the license/copyright on those songs, they cannot use them in the videos they are selling (or don't want to fight the legal battle to do so). So they dub over the original songs, and they get Fink to re-record his introduction so it can be heard.
