WWE and the face/heel line

WATCHA GONNA DO, BROTHER!?
I cant be the only one to have noticed these constant face vs face fueds in the last year or two, not to mention the occasional heel vs heel teaser.

What I am getting at is after the attitude era the face/heel became full force, the faces fueded with the heels, if you were a face you did good things, if you were a heel you did bad things, I am getting the feeling that what with the new anarchy in WWE this could all change.

What got me thinking about this is the Kane thread in the RAW section where some users are saying "Kane is definatly turning heel" and I am thinking "is he?" it had been stated before that everytime he turns heel recently the crowd pop anyway, he could just be becoming Kane, does what he wants, boo him or cheer him its your choice.

Another point was "How about a heel BOD" to which someone reply'd "It wouldnt work, the crowd would never boo these two", so it just occurs to me why not set up a fued with BOD vs *insert big name faces here* have both sides do face and heelish things and let the crowd decide who they want to cheer for, it worked way back when, why wouldnt it work now? this could really work for any fued.

Would you like to see this type of booking, or do you prefer the face/heel line that is drawn?

I personally like this new and more varied way for fueds to go. Face vs. Face usually has some backing, especially at Mania these days. Heel vs. Heel is interesting, because you tend to boo the guy you don't really like. For instance I remember a Carlito vs. Shelton match, eventually the crowd sided with Shelton.

Well I like the more tweener aspect if things now, for me it adds difference and a nice layout to the fued. I think it makes things more open for both people, Shawn Michaels supperkicking Cena is a good example. When he turned it wasn't really heelish because it's a HBK thing to do and Cena was a real big time tweener himself then ... mostly because people didn't like him that much, but that's antoehr story.

This is a good point too, people like Kane. Even though he is really heelish and 'psycho', people still like him. More so than CM even, they they cheered Kane on.

Exactly, by no means is it a bad thing, if anything its good for the fans because they are not being told who to cheer for, it is definatly reminding me of the past where they pitted people against each other regardless.

Classic HBK, it also added fuel to the fire, the only problem with that move was that it solidified the fact that Cena was going to win.

Some people cant be boo'd, remember his match with Undertaker not so long ago, the crowd was actually 50/50, Batista didnt even get that lol.

I personally think face/heel alignment should really be reserved for uber heels like Edge and uber faces like Cena, the rest could just basically lean one way or the other kinda like they are now, this way it makes 2 faces or heels fueding seem less unlikely.
Not many people are all good and not many people are all bad.
