Welcome to the first edition of WWE 2.0, im Jim Ross, alongside John Bradshaw Layfield and JBL, the atmosphere here in Tennessee is electric!
JBL:
Yes it is JR. The WWE is back! Bigger and stronger than before.
Jim Ross:
Last Night was the biggest event on the calendar, Wrestlemania 24 and the man who walked out as WWE Champion, Edge will host a special edition of the Cutting Edge talk show, and his guest will be the new number 1 contender, The Undertaker.

In Ring Segment
'No Chance In Hell' plays as Mr. McMahon swaggers down to the ring in the fashion that only he can. He enters the ring and is handed a microphone.
Mr. McMahon:
Well here we are, back again. Last night was a huge success and long may it continue. WrestleMania 24 marks the beginning of a new era here in the WWE. Just to show you how spectacular it was id like you to focus your attentions on the titantron.

Mr. McMahon:
However, Last night at Wrestlemania got me thinking. At my age its getting more difficult to run both sides of the WWE, theres the big pressures of looking after the superstars and also over-seeing behind the scenes things.
JBL:
Whats Mr. McMahon getting at!
Mr. McMahon:
It's time to delegate some responsibility here in the WWE, which is why, here tonight I will be interviewing two possible candidates and one will become the new General Manager.
Jim Ross:
Thats massive news! The WWE is getting a new General Manager.
Mr. McMahon:
Ive got two worthy candidates in the back, tonight i will start the interview process and at the start of WWE next week I will name a new General Manager. Thank You.
McMahon drops the mic and exits up the ramp.

Jim Ross:
Welcome back to WWE 2.0. Last Night saw The Loudmouth Superstar Mr. Kennedy walk away with the Money In The Bank Contract.
JBL:
My main man Mr. Kennedy now has something of more valuable than your pay cheque JR. Kennedy can face the WWE Champion at any time!

Match 1
Mr. KENNEDY vs. MICHAEL McINTYRE
Kennedys music hits, he walks through the cloud of smoke that has engulfed the stage and appears through the mist carrying the Money in the Bank Briefcase. He kisses the case and begins his walk to the ring.
As he enters the ring, he orders Lillian to get out of his ring and waits as a microphone is lowered to him.
Mr. Kennedy:
Ladies and Gentlemen, I weigh tonight at two hundred and thirty
. Five pounds. I hail from Greenbay Wisconsin, M
ister Kennedy Kennedy!
As the crowd share thir hate for Kennedy he begins to carry on with his speech
Mr. Kennedy:
As Mr. Money In The Bank, its my job to put on the most entertaining matches I possibly can! Therefore I have flown in the best wrestler to hit the United Kingdom. His name is
.. erm
. Well its not important what his name is.
Kennedys opponent makes his way to the ring. Standing 6 ft, weighing roughly 170 pounds, he is no challenge for the tougher more experienced Edge.
Mr. Kennedy:
Look at this man! He is the definition of power! Im scared just standing here. I can tell this is going to be a tough match.
Jim Ross:
What the hell is this!
JBL:
This JR is going to be one hell of a match for Edge, look at this guy, this is Englands finest! I must congratulate Edge on picking him!
The bell sounds and the match gets underway.
Mr. Kennedy and McIntyre circle each other; Mr. Kennedy makes the first move and clotheslines McIntyre to the floor. He picks his opponent up and throws him into the corner; he makes his way to the other side and charges towards him, connecting with another vicious clothesline. McIntyre falls to a heap on the mat.
Mr. Kennedy picks up his fallen opponent and makes his stand on his own, however he cant and falls back to the floor, Mr. Kennedy sees his opportunity and picks his opponent up and places him on his shoulders, he connects with a standing Kenton Bomb and he covers. 1...2...3
As his hand is raised in victory, Kennedy begins to assault his opponent.
Jim Ross:
Oh come on! The match is over Kennedy!

Backstage Segment
The camera walks into Mr. McMahons office, he's in the middle of interviewing the first candidate for the vacant GMs job, as the camera turns to the interviewee we see that it is in fact the chairmans son, Shane McMahon.
Mr. McMahon:
Well Shane, thanks for coming in. Youre the first ive interviewed but its looking good!
The two shake hands as Shane leaves McMahons office.
Mr. McMahon shouts for the next candidate.
Mr. McMahon:
Next!

Match 2
DEUCE & DOMINO vs. LONDON & KENDRICK
London and Kendrick receive a massive ovation as they make their entrance.
Deuce and Domino enter the ring to an unwelcoming reception.
The bell rings and the match is underway.
London, of London and Kendrick, starts of with Domino. London takes control of the match and tosses him into London and Kendrick corner. London slaps Kendrick across the face and Kendrick enters the match.
Domino is swung against the ropes and is met with a double handed clothesline which sends him to the mat. Domino scrambles to his corner and tags in Deuce. Deuce charges towards Kendrick but is handed the same punishment has his team mate and he too falls the floor.
As the Tag Team Champions regroup, London and Kendrick get the crowd going. Domino is back in the match and takes advantage of London and Kendrick lack of concentration to gain control. Domino grabs Londons hair and Irish whips him into the corner. He charges towards London and connects with an elbow to the mouth. Domino tags deuce and they start double teaming.
Kendrick tries to get into the match but is stopped by the referee, as Kendricks attempts to help his partner are foiled Deuce and Domino connect with their double team move as Deuce kicks London in the face. Domino covers and gets the three count.
As Deuce and Domino celebrate, the World Tag Team Champions jump over the barrier at ringside and snatch Deuce and Dominos car, the pair start the engine and take it backstage.
The match winners looked shocked as they stand in the ring helpless.

Backstage Segment
Kenny Dykstra and his girlfriend Michelle McCool are backstage talking, Cody Rhodes walks past and makes eye contact with Michelle. Michelle smiles at Cody to Dykstras disgust.
Dykstra:
Keep walking sunshine!
Dykstra turns to Michelle
Dykstra:
What the hell was that! You embarrassed me then you silly
You know what just get in there!
Dykstra grabs Michelle McCool by the arm and pushes her into their dressing room.

Back in Mr. McMahons office he is preparing to interview the final candidate in the search for a new General Manager
Mr. McMahon:
Coach, whos next?
Jonathan Coachman:
Well Mr. McMahon the next candidate is late!
Mr. McMahon:
What the hell! Nobody is late for a meeting with me!

Last night at Wrestlemania Bobby Lashley was victorious against King Booker, Lashley is in action Next! Against the Miz.

Match 3
BOBBY LASHLEY vs. THE MIZ
Lashley gets the upper hand in this match from the beginning, a few athletic moves knock The Miz to the floor, Lashley tries a few quick covers but to no avail. The Miz reverses an attempted spear and begins to take control of the match.
Mizs control doesnt last long as the more powerful Lashley connects with some stiff punches which send Miz crashing into the corner. The Miz reverses an attempted chop and Irish whips Lashley into the opposite corner and runs towards him, Lashley gets his foot up and kicks The Miz in the face, Lashley then connects clean with the spear and covers The Miz.
The referee counts 3 and Lashley starts to celebrate. As he turns round he is knocked straight to the floor by the Worlds Strongest Man Mark Henry. Henry stands above Lashley with a microphone.
Mark Henry:
You may have won your match last night Bobby but I didnt! I lost a number one contenders match to Undertaker!
Crowd go wild as they hear the Undertakers name mentioned.
Mark Henry:
Ill deal with the Undertake sometime soon but first im going to take my frustrations out on you! So be prepared Bobby! Be prepared.
Henry drops the mic and leaves the ring
JBL:
That is one unhappy strong man right there. I wouldnt want to upset him JR!
Jim Ross:
Me either John! Dont forget that coming up later tonight Edge hosts a special edition of the Cutting Edge with his guest, The number one contender to the WWE title, The Undertaker!
BOBBY LASHLEY def. THE MIZ

Backstage Segment
Back in Mr. McMahons office and he is still waiting for the second candidate to turn up for the meeting.
There is a knock at the door!
Mr. McMahon:
Coach answer the door please.
Coach:
Mr. McMahon, the second candidate is here!
Mr. McMahon :
Its about damn time aswell! How dare you keep me waiting!
As Mr. McMahon looks up at his interviewee his face turns from anger to that of shock.
Mr. McMahon :
Stephanie!
Stephanie McMahon walks into the shot.
Steph McMahon :
Hey Daddy! Sorry im late there was a problem at the airport.
The two McMahons sit down and begin discussing the job.

Match 4
JEFF HARDY vs. KING BOOKER
After losing at Wrestlemania a focused King Booker looks ready for action. The two superstars circle the ring. Booker makes the first move and knocks Hardy to the floor with a kick to the face. Hardy gathers his composure and gets back to his feet. Hardy goes to kick Booker in the mid-section but the King grabs the highfliers foot, Hardy spins around and kicks Booker in the back of the head sending him crashing to the floor.
As both men recover from a hectic opening few minutes Queen Sharmell offers a distraction which allows Booker to get back in control, after a flurry of punches and kicks to the body Hardy struggles to get back in the match, Booker seizes his opportunity and kicks Hardy in the stomach, he runs against the ropes and connects with the scissor kick, Hardy flops to the mat and Booker covers. 1..2..3.
KING BOOKER def. JEFF HARDY
Jim Ross:
What an impressive win from King Booker!
JBL:
The King is truly back to winning ways!
Jim Ross:
Up next folks, the United States Championship is on the line as CM Punk defends the gold against Carlito.

Backstage Segment
As WWE 2.0 returns from a commercial the cameras are backstage and Kenny Dykstra is seen walking around the corridors of the arena.
Dykstra:
Michelle! Michelle! Where are you?
The camera cuts to the door to Cody Rhodes dressing room, the door opens and Michelle McCool walks out, she checks her shirt and beings buttoning it up.

Match 5
WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
CM PUNK(c) vs. CARLITO
CM Punk and Carlito stare each other down before CM Punk runs towards Carlito and hits a clothesline knocking Carlito off his feet. Suddenly Johnny Nitros music hits and he makes his way to the announce table and joins JR and the King on commentary, the distraction cause Jeff to take his eyes of Carlito, Carlito rolls CM Punk up but only gets a two count.
As the match continues Montel Vontavious Porter appears on the stage. Dressed in a suit and lots of bling he unfolds a chair he brought with him and sits down to view the match.
CM Punk reverses and attempted Back-Stabber and kicks Carlito in the stomach, CM Punk throws Carlito into the corner, runs towards him and connects with a knee in the mouth, as a dazed Carlito staggers forward Punk grabs him by the head and delivers a bull dog. Punk picks his opponent up, tosses him onto his shoulders and delivers the GTS manoeuvre. Carlito collapses to the floor and Punk covers for the 3.

What an amazing match that was! Cm Punk retains the United States Championship and one has to wonder why MVP came put during the bout.
JBL:
My guess is that the ballin superstars wants more bling and is after CM Punk and the US title!

CUTTING EDGE TALK SHOW
Smoke erupts from the stage, The lights go down and Edges music hits, the New WWE Champion makes his way to the ring, looking as smug as ever.
As he celebrates in the ring for a few moments he is then handed a microphone, he sits on a stool set up in the ring and the lights go up and his music stops.
Edge:
Last night marked the greatest moment in my career, the greatest moment in the WWE and lets face it the greatest moment in you sad pathetic lives. Take a look.

Edge:
Something else happened that night aswell, The Undertaker became the number 1 contender to my WWE title.
Jim Ross:
The deadman gets a shot at the WWE title in three weeks at Backlash, what a match that is going to be JBL!
JBL:
Your damn right JR, its, as you would put it, going to be a slobber knocker!
Edge:
I thought seen as though Taker became Number 1 contender and I became WWE champion we should have a celebratory edition of the Cutting Edge! But listen closely Taker, im going to say this once and once only! Im not scared of you!
As Edge finishes his sentence Undertakers bongs fill the arena and smoke rises from the ramp. Edge dives out of the ring and attempts to hide behind JBL
Takers voice can be heard in the arena
Undertaker:
Edge! you will REST
IN
PEACE!
Jim Ross:
The Undertaker has left Edge a cowering wreck, will the Deadman be able to do it at Backlash and become the WWE Champion? Good Night Folks.
