Wrestlemania curse

so i was just thinking about this...maybe i'm just trippin...but does anyone think there is a curse on the guys who main event the big wrestlemanias? I mean look at wrestlemania 1 10 and 20 and what has happened to these guys...hulk hogan's life is literally falling apart in the media, bret hart had a huge fallout in wrestling and a stroke and other tragedies and benoit, well we all know what happened there...is there a curse on guys who main event the main match of the main wrestlemanias? Probably not...but i thought this may get some interesting responses

are you out of your mind. No there is no curse on wrestlers lets take a look at each one. well Hogan pretty Much screwed himself his life has been fucked up for at least 3 years now. Bret hart is no curse that was his decision to go to WCW not Vince. a stroke No that is bad but not due to wrestling. Chris is a psycho that is all that needs to be said there. he lost all my respect for him as much as he said he cared about his family and then killed them himself. HHH and Cena, Austin Rock all have main evented and there lives are fine.

It's nothing more than coincidence. You have fallen into the trap that we humans fall into so many times, that of trying to find patterns that simply aren't there.

Wrestlemania 1? Hogan and his family did that to themselves, though I suppose a curse could be blamed.

Wrestlemania 10? If you wanna blame a stroke and losing the WWE title before Bret goes to WCW on a curse then go right on ahead.

Wrestlemania 20? So you wanna blame a murder/suicide that was at the end of years of concussions and steroids on a curse? Well, I suppose.

If you want to blame it all on a curse, go ahead. But there are reasonable explanations for every "bad thing" to ever befall a main eventer. It's called the life of a wrestler.

Hogan main event Wrestlemania year after year after year, and was the best in the business for a decade before AND after Wrestlemania 1.
I would say just because his life "sucks" now, doesn't mean he was cursed. And by sucks, I mean he's still a millionaire with a teenage girlfriend...

Wrestlers by nature turn out to be
a.) Dead
b.) Addicts to something
c.) Sell outs
d.) Aweful family members
e.) in some rare cases, people who save their money wisely, invest, and enjoy their time with their family and friends...

It may sound harsh, but it's mostly true. The more money you have, the more you spend, and the more you dont have once you stop wrestling...
Basically, they do it to themselves.

HHH - is he cursed?
The Rock ???
Stone Cold???
HBK???
Taker???

Just a short list which are all examples of people 'not cursed' by the WM Main Event. Bit of a far fetched thread to be honest

And one other point is this.... so many of the earlier Wrestlemanias took place during a time where little was known about the effect of steroids. Steroids and other prescription drugs were part of the business. That led to many self destructions. Read Bret Hart's book and it will tell you a lot about people who self-destruct due to drug useage during that time.

Even those who got clean are still messed up. Look at Eddie Guerrero. He cleaned up and still died at an early age due to his past.

Undertaker, Mick Foley, Big Show, Kevin Nash, Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, HBK and Triple H. All enjoying the last few years of their career, all in good enough health, respected and loved by their fans.

Brock Lesnar is the biggest MMA fighter in the world.

Austin is a hall of famer and is enjoying retirement.

There's absolutely no curse. Just cause some of the stars have had some bad times doesn't mean anything.
That's like saying there's a curse on musicians who release great albums just cause Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain etc died young.

Well ASSHOLE reality check for you Chris Benoit was sick... The man had severe brain damage... A study of his brain showed that his brain was the equivelant of a 80 year old human with advanced signs of alzhiemers & dementia...

No I am not saying there is an excuse for what Chris did, however if you and those other MORONS out there who have crusified him would be objective then maybe the man could still be respected for what he did in ring, not for the crimes he committed away from it ASSHOLE....

Hogan just married a gold digging bitch and his son is a fuck up. I mean Hogan is still a big name in not only wrestling, but sports period. But the problem for im is the same problem Ric Flair is having, trying too hard to make his children stars when they should try to make it on their own. Plus have you see Hogan's latest blonde? I think the guy is doing fine.

Bret Hart, well if Goldberg didn't kick him in the head and knew how to wrestle, Bret would still be around. Plus Bret is still active in wrestling and with how cheap people said he was, he should be sitting pretty good money wise.

AS for that peice of shit, that's it.

The Madden Curse is more realistic than the Wrestlemania Curse. The wrestlers who have headlined Wrestlemania and didn't screw up are larger than the ones who have. Let's wait and see what will happen to HHH or Orton since they headlined WM 25 or wait to see who will headline WM 26 since that's the real 25th anniversary.

Benoit: Regardless, no excuses for his action. Roid Rage or not. Brain tumor or not. Giving your boy growth drugs or killing your son and wife like that (regardless the problems) is unacceptable..its too bad Benoit died. I would've like to see Benoit serve a lifetime behind bars. Hey bud u might want to go do ur research, becuse if u did, u would realize that the stroke was a result of the kick to the head delivered by a yound goldberg, in which he botched his kick, and ended up making that match the last bret hart ever had. So it was in fact due to wrestling.


Now as well as this post, i really do not see your point out of these three insedence, two of them were caused be those wrestlers, hogans, and benoits. The only laugh i have about this one, is if u look at the best match of 2008, HBK vs Flair, Flair has also ruined his life, as most kids will now grow up thinking rick flair was some washed up pos that had no clue when to end his career, and was also just a jobber, wich i could see as some sort of curse, but final statement...
