Wrestlemania 32: John Cena VS Roman Reigns????

Originally, we all thought it was going to be a Shield Triple Threat for the world title at WrestleMania 32. However, Dean Ambrose just wrapped up his rivalry with Seth Rollins. There is rumors of Seth Rollins turning face around Summerslam to feud with Triple H. There is also the fact that Roman Reigns did not win the Money In The Bank briefcase. Add this all together, It appears WWE is going in another direction for the 3 men.

WWE wants to break the attendance record at WrestleMania 32. If they want to sell out the arena then the next best choice is John Cena vs. Roman Reigns. That match would arguably be the biggest match of The Reality Era.

Also add in the fact, that there is no other logical choice for either man at this point. John Cena's has just faced his originally rumored opponent for Mania in Owens.

No one really has to go heel either, at least not in the feud. If they really want to capatalize of Reigns, they could have Cena turn heel on him at Mania. If they feel he isn't ready as a face, they can have him turn heel on Cena at Mania. This of course would only be their first clash at Mania of 2 or 3.

My questions to you are "Do you see this happening next year???" and "Would you want to see it???"

I can, and I would love to see it. In fact, I'll go on record and say if it does it will steal the show.

I'm only invested in John Cena slightly, so no i wouldn't like to see this.. They have better options for both men. I think John Cena should face Seth Rollins next year at WrestleMania, Rollins is clearly the biggest star out of all 3 Shield members and he's the best in-ring performer. That would steal the show and sell tickets... Don't know why Reigns is an option to face Cena, i can think of 10 other guys i'd rather see Cena face.

I would have to say that Reigns vs Cena makes sense. I think Lesnar will be taken by Rusev or Owens. I believe HHH will face Dean Ambrose. Sting gets Taker. Rollins as a face vs. Wyatt makes sense.

I checked the math and all this tells us is that Roman Reigns does not currently hold the MitB briefcase.

That is not the best choice to sell out the stadium and it has no chance of selling out the stadium as WWE's most featured match.

That is not a fact. There are plenty of logical choices and there may be more over the next nine months.

I don't see it as likely and I am not terribly excited by it but I guess it is possible. It is also possible that we will see this sooner or later or never. I would lean towards later.

Maybe. In your speculation you seem to be forgetting that a lot can happen in nine months and there are a shitload of names out there that may drag their asses out for Mania 32. Reigns and/or Cena could become midcard casualties.

It would be a phenomenal match but I doubt it headlines a Wrestlemania. You'd end up in the same situation you were in with Orton and Batista; Wrestlemania crowds are packed with smarky ***** who will shit all over these two no matter how good they are. They could completely steal the show and they would still be boo'd for no actual reason.

Super Cena vs The Samoan Superman?! This could be a decent fued/match if one or the other were a Heel, because it is very hard to play Face vs Face off one another in this era of "entertainment" but in all honestly I just don't see it happen - I believe if it does go down at Mania it would be at 33 or whenever it's getting close for Cena to ride off into the sunset as a passing of the torch kind of event

Reigns vs cena could be a nice draw if done right. At this point cena has nothing although very far away the big question is reigns. Does he garner the reaction he's been getting(top tier pops since extreme rules)but where does sheamus and more importantly lesnar fit?. Roman could grab major pops/heat with proper promos or actions towards cena after rumble booking means alot as do the "part timers"

Another add on. I'm a roman supporter however his booking annoys me. They call him the samoan badass the big dog but he's never showed the mean streak. He needs to absolutely maul a heel in a big match to grab momentum. Him and wyatt would of been gigantic say seven months ago however neither will be booked in the proper manner. They both need the win and the priority will show

I don't see it happening next year. I don't want to see it yet. They haven't build Reigns up to the level where this match would be a big deal.

Right now, it would make a great Summerslam or Royal Rumble main event. I think if Reigns won some world titles, you know pretty much become a legit superstar, this could be a legit passing of the torch match in a few years.

Based off a report on Wrestlezone this appears to be happening. There is no way WWE does this big if a match outside Mania. As of now, Reigns is expected to walk in champ and Cena is expected to walk in challenger. From the way the report sounds. At least to me, Cena will probably turn heel on Reigns to regain the title, I expect this match to main event either WrestleMania 32 of 33.
