Would you have gone to WCW or WWE?

Back in 1998 when things were realy getting heated in the Monday Night War, would you have chose WCW or WWE?

Say it was January 31 1998 and you were offered the same exact contract from WCW and WWE and they both promised you a title run then would you have went up north to New York or down South to Atlanta?

I would have chose WCW mainly because back then I thought they were the better company and I didn't know about all the politics. Now if I would have Known how Bischoff was running the place I would have went to WWE.

I'm going to chose the WWE, but only becuase of brand loyalty. It took a lot to get me to watch WCW before the nWo hit and even then, I usually had more interest in the RAW ME. I'd been watching (and been entertained by) WWE for so long that I'd remain loyal. Especially if the $ was the same.

WCW would have definitely offered more money and would've made ' a main event program' promise, which they would've never kept.

Still tons o' cash, Nitro girls... WCW here I come!

Eh, WWF. I knew I wouldn't be a main-eventer for either company, seeing how I'm 5'7, so I would've never seen the spotlight in WCW.

Actually, I voted a bit too soon. I would've chosen WCW so I could have a chance to wrestle some international names. I'm just that kind of person.

I'd have wanted to jump to the WWF come August of '99 once I saw that funny cruiserweight from WCW promo against The Rock.

WCW would be great for a short term run, but ultimately WWE during that time would be the best for the long run since WWE is obviously still around and WCW went bankrupt.

I chose WCW because I think I would fit into the category of cruiserweights since i am only what..like 5"7- 5"8. WWE would eventually buy the company and I would go to the WWE. But back when WCW was around, I was a huge WCW fan, way more than WWE.

WCW. Sure there's a lot of politics involved, complete lack of control and generally no one cares for anyone besides themselves, but...

I liked WCW more. I liked Sting, Flair, Goldberg, Wrath and all the others. Feuding with Booker T or Disco Inferno for the Television title would be hilarious. Just chilling with Jericho after he does a match would be .

Plus, there's all the sexy Nitro girls...

WWF. One word: Vince. Vince had the 'vision' in a way Ted Turner didn't.

WWE. While I would have initially been shit on in terms of a paycheck, everyone always says that the WCW treated everyone who wasn't Hogan and his friends like shit, while the WWE was more like a real wrestling company. In the long run, I probably would have gotten paid more, seeing as the WWE actually stayed in company.

But if I wasn't psychic, and made this decision back during wrestling's peak, I probably would have gone with WCW, and then jumped ship.
