Worst in wrestling today: In ring skills

Tastycles

Turn Bayley heel
For me, this is simple. Matt Morgan. Sure, he can do a few power moves, and sure he has a look, however his actual in ring performance is absolutely shoot yourself in the face apalling. I think that good ring psychologists are over rated, but literally every single good wrestler ever has been able to sell a little bit, even the Ultimate Warrior.

Morgan can't. Somebody will work on, say, his ankle, for about 5 minutes. Then, when the momentum shifts, Morgan has made a miraculous recovery. The moves he does to other people look sloppy and fake, and I have to say that Matt Morgan is hands down my least favourite performer in wrestling today.

Who do you think is the worst in the biz?

I'll go with Big Show on this one. To be perfectly honest, I'm not the type of wrestling fan that knows enough to sit there and analyze a match move by move for technical prowess. I've been watching for the better part of 25 years but I've never really analyzed it to that degree. I just know the Big Show bores me to tears.

I don't think I ever did manage to get through one of those recent Big Show/Cena matches without getting up to get a drink or falling asleep. Hell, the guy actually managed to make Kofi look boring. That's an accomplishment. Thank god he has Jericho to carry him and make him look at least halfway interesting now.

I agree on Big Show

he's slow and a limited move list.

John Cena - his moves are annoying and boring. Great mic skills but boring ring skills

Well, if we are going worst ever, it's easily Jesse Neal. I mean, I realize he has had approximately 1 and a half matches to his credit and I assume he will get better with experience, but the few times I have been able to keep my lunch down long enough to watch him bell to bell has been absolutely atrocious. He has three moves right now: the punch, the clothesline and, his most potent of all, the "Get the Holy Hell Beaten out of Him" Plex. Plus, his haircut is...special.

As for worst in ring skills for an "established" superstar, I'm going to go with the Great Khali. I would say that Khali is vastly inferior skill set wise to the Big Show as Show has added a few tasty skills in the recent past like his Cobra Clutch backbreaker and his Spear. I know Khali's knees are a mess, but his offense is almost as non-existent as Jesse Neal's. Clothesline, Head Chop of Doom, Khali Vice (which he doesn't use anymore) and his double handed Chokeslam.

Those are my choices for worst in ring skills as of right now.

I definetly agree with the great khali as the worst in ring performer but in his defence would you take a 7 ft 2in suplex or powerbomb. I cant remember if this is true or not but didnt he almost kill someone doing a wrestling move.
but year its definetly khali.

That's the thing, a lot of performers seem comfortable taking big moves from Show, but not from Khali. Another testament to the gap between their respective skill levels.

Khali, and morgan are pretty friggin' bad.. I mean they just don't do anything other than a couple of power moves. Khali look's like he can't move across the ring. It's amazing the guy was able to climb out of the cell thing... what was it again?

Matt Morgan just doesn't seen to know what he's doing in there a lot of time. then when he does he just doesn't do anything... so it's kinda pathetic

Definitely The Great Khali, and I don't think it's even really close. What does he have, 2, maybe 3 moves at max in his arsenal? Chop, body slam...I'm already out of moves. He's probably the stiffest wrestler I've ever seen in my life, and I don't mean stiff as in the pain of the moves he performs, I mean when he wrestles he looks like a giant stiff board attempting to move. I'm not sure I've ever even seen Khali bend over or use his hips, have you?

I guess you can't really blame the guy though, when you're that big I imagine your mobility is extremely limited. Still, watching Khali "wrestle" is absolute agony.

Don't forget he sometimes grabs their head and tosses them

Obiviously it's Great Khali. It's not even close. Of course, he actually does OK considering his size and knee problems. That still doesn't change my past statement. Also, have you ever noticed that he is never ran? EVER? Not even a jog?

Why is everyone saying the Great Khali? The dude has had horrible knees since his debut and probably has zero proper training. He's like 7'3...what do you expect him to do? If you are going to say Khali...you automatically have to say Hornswaggle because he's a little person and can't do powerbombs.

I'm going to go with Mike Knox. I really haven't seen anything overwhelmingly impressive from him like...ever. All he's got going for him is the beard.

For me, I'm probably gonna have to go with Rob Terry. This is a guy that's going to be absolutely awful, I can just feel it. TNA is going to do with Terry what Jim Crockett Promotions did with Lex Luger. Terry has a great look but he really hasn't been trained to do shit. He can do a slam and a clothesline and that's about it.

Maybe TNA is hoping to do with him, by pairing him up with the World Elite and the MEM, what Evolution did for Batista, I dunno. While I'm sure the guy will improve to some degree over time, right now he makes Batista look like HBK ability wise.
