I was thinking this too... well at least kind of. It makes more sense if he's going to get his job back. Dusty could get involved, Goldust could get involved, he could buy tickets to all the shows he wants but at the end of the day they don't have to give him his job back, plus on top of that... would it really make much sense? I can't imagine they would have the Rhodes family threaten Triple H into giving Rhodes a job back or anything like that... the only thing I could see that would still keep Rhodes a face is if Vince was against the firing of Cody and re-hires him.
I do think it's a lot more likely and logical that Rhodes costs Bryan the match, kind of proving to Triple H that he isn't a 'loser' and in return gets his job back. He doesn't even really have to align himself with Orton, Triple H and the McMahon's, just a way to get his job back.
It's still not perfect considering they JUST turned Rhodes face and it would be a lot like Big Show last year with Johnny Ace. But I don't really know how else they could write him back in and make it look believable other than him costing Bryan. He's not some monster that could threaten the McMahon's nor is he a menacing figure like a Stone Cold Steve Austin. I really don't know what they're gonna do but that and Mr. McMahon hiring him back are the only two things that would really make logical sense.
