Why is Alexa Bliss VS Carmella more exciting than Reigns/Lesnar?

Occasional Pre-Show
It cannot be just because the former is (by most accounts) a prettier match.

There seems to be a genuine suspense between these two contenders, as if the result has not been predetermined months in advance by a man blind to his own realities. Almost like the NXT promoter saw this (Bliss/Carmella) as an opportunity to present a match between two willing competitors instead of a bout featuring an ineffectual predestined hotshot facing a legitimate athlete mired by careless presentation?

In other words, Why does Lesnar/Reigns seem like a foregone conclusion railroaded into reality? I will accept interpretations outside the established HHH/Vince dichotomy.

Note: I paused the match before the bell rang to underscore my anticipation of its outcome over the Rasslemanya main event.

It's quite strange you mentioned this match because I was so into it as well. They seem to have good chemistry together, and I was excited that Alexa was back on again after her injury. The way Carmella carried herself was great too. Both still need some improvements but I think they will turn out just fine. I thought Alexa was going to hit the 450, but she did a modified rolling senton instead (I forgot what they called it). Anyway, would love these two to get a shot against "The Boss."

As far as why Reigns versus Lesnar might be a bore, it's because of the build-up to Wrestlemania 31's main event. We haven't even seen a glimpse of what it may even look like yet; no brawls. The only thing good we got between the two so far was the sit down. The guy that's truly carry the feud (Paul Heyman) is not even wrestling. At this point, I don't give a damn who wins. I'm more interested in the IC ladder match.
