Why Does Santa Always Wait Until You're Asleep?

This is the question my smart-ass 3 yr old decided to ask me, when I told her she had to go to bed if she expected Santa to bring her anything.

My reply.. simply put..

Santa has a mental complex about the way he looks. He doesn't like when everyone stares at him, so he feels better if no one sees him when he delivers all his toys.
