Who will step up?

Every WrestleMania a wrestler steps up his game, brings himself to a new level. So my question is who will do it this year? Last year it was two men with Randy Orton and CM Punk. The year before was Mr. Kennedy and Bobby Lashley. Others include John Cena, Batista, Edge, RVD, Beniot, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle and so much more. Who will step up? You can include people who aren't in matches so far. Give details.

On a side note, I know that a couple of these men ended up being bust, but they still did impressed you. Also you can name a big name like Orton, HHH, HBK, Taker and others.

MVP he will win MITB and show he capable of being a Main Eventer. Either him or Rey who may not be in MITB but could have a match on the card regardless and will show his stuff.

I really think that Carlito should be given some spotlight. I can see him either being in a tag match, a sort of Champion vs Champion tag team match with Miz and Morrison. People talki about how good they are, but as a team, I really enjoy the Colons. A good match here could really show off his presence.

If he is in Money in the Bank, it is really a hard match to get yourself noticed. But if he does well, has some in ring action, and isn't just a target for flying bodies, I think he will get noticed.

Way too early to tell. We don't even have set cards yet. We've got like 10 people that need to find a way into the ppv somehow, and only 6 MITB spots left, and we know that 2 of those 8 MITB guys aren't going to be the ones that step their game up as they're severely limited when it comes to a ladder match.

If you ignore the fact that HBK/Undertaker are obviously going to be putting on the best match of the night, by far, bar none, no questions asked, and if I go for a pure blind shot in the dark kind of guess...then I'm going to say the person who puts on the best show will actually be Big Show. Yeah, weird guess, but I think he'll try his heart out to put on a good match.

MVP: Will win MITB this year and go onto Wrestlemania 26 to win a world championship. I could see him being drafted over to Raw as well after Wrestlemania. So a move over to the A show along with a MITB and World Championship win at WM. I think that's a big step up for MVP who was on a 20+ match losing streak.

Big Show: Last year his WM match with Floyd Mayweather wasn't so great but thats because Mayweather was limited. He will want to make up for it this year and I expect him to have a good showing in his World Championship Match with Edge and maybe Cena as well. He really impressed me last Friday against Cena so why not the Big Show.

Jack Swagger: I've seen nothing but good matches out of this kid with Matt Hardy,Christian, and Finlay for the ECW Championship. I expect him to defend his belt on the grandest stage of them all against Christian and even in a losing effort put on the performance of his career thus far.

Matt Hardy: I've been saying since 2003 I want Matt to show me why he is better than his brother Jeff and I think this will be the year he does so. He's always been the Chavo Guerrero of the Hardy family to me. Less interesting ,less flashy. People ask me why doin't you like Matt Hardy? I retort with why DO you like Matt Hardy. They can never answer me. This match with Jeff that is obviously gonna happen will be great. Reminiscent of Owen/Bret. Brother vs Brother. They know each other well. They're brothers and tag team partners....well not anymore.

Might be too early, but then again aren't most Wrestlemania threads are.

My pick to set up this Wrestlemania are

MVP: I think he will win the Money in the Bank and put on a great match and shine. Usually the winner of the Money in the Bank is the one who shines, even if there is one person who puts on the show.

Randy Orton and Legacy
: You may say how can Orton step up? Easy, being in the Main Event and winning the WWE belt, plus the fact he and Legacy will defeat the McMahons, has to have him and Legacy count. I really believe the last image we will see at this years Mania is Orton holding the title with Legacy by his side.
