Which spoiler do you wish you had never read?

Dark Match Jobber
A quite simple thread and my first so be kind.

I was just wondering if you have ever read a spoiler for a PPV or Raw/Smakdown and really regretted doing so. Such as a return you would of really marked out for or a plan for a wrestler after the match ruining the result for you.

The one I regret is reading about Edge returning at Survivor Series in what was meant to be a three way dance (triple threat). Now there are a few reasons for this:

A) I'm a HUGE jeff hardy mark. Ever since the Royal Rumble 2000 in the tag team table match (I grew up poor in the UK and this was on free TV).

B) No one wanted to see Vlad Vs Trips and the WWE knew this so they decided to drag out this whole thing.

and the after effects

C) The let down of this ending at the Royal Rumble not WrestleMania they should have let Jeff and Edge go till the big dance. 10 years in the making is worthy of WrestleMania without doubt.

any way i ramble on whats your regretful spoiler?

Converse :)

Reading the spoiler that Christian had returned to WWE. But then I quickly realised I didn't regret it because it was on ECW and if I hadn't of read the spoiler I'd never have seen it, because I hadn't watched ECW for two months prior cause it was going down the shitter. Then along comes Captain Charisma, who carries the show till its eventual death. But for those few moments, I did indeed regret reading that spoiler, ultimately I didn't.

to be fair to ECW at that point i think it had gone and was wizzing its way round the bowl on the way to oblivion. Christian way the sweetcorn that kept it afloat

Mine would be the fact that Vince purchased WCW. I flipped my computer on wrestlezone for one minute that day and spoiled the night for me. I watched both shows back then and would have possibly soiled myself to see Vince declare his purchase. My friends were calling me confused and in shock as to what had happened, and I spoiled it all for myself hours earlier.

It would be when I found out Triple H wasn't drafted to Smackdown and that Kurt Angle traded him. I was soo pissed off. I wanted him on Smackdown, would've been a good reason to tune in every Thursday night.

Different then the norm around here and pretty cool topic.

I got on wrestling spoiler sites towards the end of 1999. Coolest thing ever for 15 year old die hard fan. Soon after, it started killing wrestling for me. One thing Im glad I missed out on reading was Jericho debut.

The biggest regrets:
Ric Flairs return
Angles world title win on smackdown

I eventually just stopped reading them. I feel like there is a big one im missing. Maybe someone will help me remember.

The one that sticks in my mind is christian returning to WWE, in fact any return I read I regret reading. I found that I enjoy wrestling more when I don't read certain spoilers so that's what I do. I wish wrestlezone wouldn't tempt me with spoilers though :p

There are many actually. Wished I could have kept these as surprise for myself
1) Rock return on Monday night RAW
2) Cena's thuganomics on recent RAW
3) Punk's kayfebe-breaking promo
4) Result of Barret vs Orton match leading to Cena getting fired
5) Nexus destroying the ring at the end of RAW
6) Vince relieved of his duties -- would have loved to enjoy his reaction when HHH gave him the news.

Lol, I like what the poster said about the WCW purchase. That was spoiled for me too, but not by the internet. I was driving to my class at jr college and listened to sports talk radio...and it was announced then. I almost ran a red light I was shocked. Couldnt wait to get home to read the sites.

As for recent internet spoilers, wish I hadnt read the Rock's return in Feb of last year. I remember it was on Valentines day and I was out to diner with the wife. I didnt catch Raw that night but DVR'd it. I checked the spoilers on wrestlezone in my phone...I just couldnt wait until the morning!

It would either be when Jack Swagger or Randy Orton won the Heavyweight belt on Smackdown. I've always been a closet Swagger fan since he was in ECW and I was glad that he actually got the belt but bumed that I read it instead of waiting. With Orton though, I wasn't glad of the news that he beat Christian in a non PPV match, but I can't help feel that I probably would have enjoyed it more if I waited.

There are 3 I can think of straight away

The nWo coming to the WWE

I had read that this was in the pipeline months in advance, and as soon as Vince was cutting those promos with the black and white screen, and talking about a "poison", I knew it was coming. Totally spoiled it.

ECW joining the Invasion

I was SO angry at myself for going on WWE.com before watching the show, and the headline said something about RVD and Dreamer invading and Stephanie McMahon buying ECW and bringing it back.

Miss Kitty going topless

I suppose this was not a spoiler, but I knew about it before seeing it. My friends at school had watched the PPV Sunday night and told me on the Monday, so I made sure I watched the repeat of the show later in the week. I wish I hadn't known she was going to get her tits out after winning the title!

I wish Rock hadn't posted all that stuff on his Facebook hours before he came out the night he returned.

I'm very happy that I was spoiled on Christian losing the belt, though. Seeing that on TV without having known about it beforehand would have infuriated me even more.

Randy Orton defeating Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship on May 6th, 2011 on Smackdown. I hoped I wouldn't have read now looking back at it, due to Randy Orton being my favorite. I wish it woulda been a surprise.
