Where's Reid Flair?

HISTORY BECKONS THE MACHO MAN!
"Nature Boy" Ric Flair's son, Reid Flair, was signed to a TNA Wrestling contract about a year ago. Reid still has yet to debut, and I haven't heard anything about his TNA status since he signed. I honestly forgot he was he was signed by TNA before I randomly remembered today. When will Reid eventually debut? Is he still with TNA?

Interesting. I hadn't heard about that. It would be kind of neat to see a father/son team in TNA (besides the Kurt/Jeff/kids angle...) especially a Flair one.

That said, though, I would hope to hell he had more personality and a better look than David Flair. That kid was pretty bad back in the day...

I would think that as long as the Nature Boy is there he will end up debuting at one point or another. That is, unless they just ride out their contracts so they can try to head back to WWE. If Ric's in as much financial difficulties as reports claim, then a Legends contract would only benefit him in the grand scheme of things. It would also free up money in TNA for them to replace an older face w/a younger, fresher one. Plus Reid could work towards an eventual debut with the WWE and capitalize on their youth movement.

Win-win all around it would seem to me.

I believe that he is part of "Team Jarrett". I think he is the squared jawed one with the bowl cut.

Reid has a TNA contract but he is still in training, he is only 23 yrs old and has a striking resemblance to his older brother David. Reid may still be wrestling in the NWA-Mid-Atlantic in NC. He still has a way to go on the mic and developing a wrestlers body.

Last I heard of Reid was that he was sentenced into rehab after being found with a bunch of Cocaine. Fortunately for him TNA doesnt care if people die of drug overdoses. My hope is that he got cleaned up and is only drinking like his old man now. Reid is a great "Wrestler" in the mold of a Jack Swagger but he needs to learn the rest of the business. If he can tour the NWA for a few years it would help him a ton.

He was busted for heroin last year. Probably nodded off and waiting for someone to wake him up. Hopefully he's past this because the guidance that his father can give him could potentially make him a great superstar of the future. Who knows when he'll debut, or even if it is with TNA. I just hope that he can make some good healthy choices.

Just watched a couple of his pro matches over the last year and a half and Reid is pretty darn good in the ring. His problem I have seen is that he has the charisma of a rock. He doesn't know how to come across to the crowd. He really needs to take notes from his dad on how to connect to the crowd and make himself relevant through words because he doesn't have that.

He was arrested in 2007 for assault & battery and twice in 2009 March he was drugged up & April for drug possession. And in 2010 he was signed by TNA which means daddy has some big pull behind the scenes or TNA has become a drug sanctuary.

Reid Flair was arrested on June 23, 2007, for assault and battery, but was released after posting bail. On March 4, 2009, he was arrested for driving while impaired in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, but was released after posting $1000 in bail. He was arrested again on April 26, 2009. After crashing his car, police found black tar heroin inside it, and he now faces felony charges. He was also charged with driving while impaired, driving with a revoked license, and possession of drug paraphernalia, but was released after posting $15,000 in bail.

Not sure exactly what he has been doing outside of getting arrested a bunch.

If the WWE had signed him you can bet that they would have whipped him into shape and more than likely have made him very well known to the wrestling fans. Instead he had to sign onto TNA.

TNA? Drug sanctuary? Please. Everyone knows that they drug test... and when they drug test, where they drug test, what they drug test for, and who will let you know they're drug testing that day so you can show up late to the taping and miss it. Rob Terry must be driving a piece of shit car that breaks down several times on the way in.

Reid Flair... don't care. Haven't been given a reason to care. All I hope is that when he does make his all but inevitable debut, that he doesn't suck as bad as his brother David did as a wrestler.

Tna has a developmental program some where in california and also at Team 3D's academy! Guys like Reid Flair, Jesse Godderz, and other Indy Talent TNA has signed are at those locations!

Perhaps he can join the main roster and get some experience. Hanging round with guys like RVD and Jeff Hardy will only help him stay clean.

Papa Ric can show him the benefits of early nights and moderate drinking and by Reid can even look at Rob Terry and Scott Steiner as the shining examples of how great your body can look without the need of steroids.

If he needs relationship advice he can go to Daddy for that too, or maybe Uncle Hulk, he knows a thing or two about happy families.

Really, TNA is the perfect place for Reid Flair. With all the wonderful advice he can pick up from their roster he will do just fine.

I bet Reid Flair is wrestling on the independents until TNA has something for him to do. Maybe he is in school? Either way i don't know where he is, he could show up tomorrow.

I actually asked this question on another wrestling site after Fourtune turned face. I thought it would be the perfect time to debut Reid Flair to take AJs spot as Flairs protege.
