Ten years from now, Super Bowl LV (55) will be played barring anything happening in the next ten years and a champion will be crowned. The Pittsburgh Steelers have the most Super Bowl titles with 6 followed by the 49ers and Cowboys with 5 and the Packers with 4. Just because the Patriots have Brady and Belichick, I'm throwing them into the discussion as well with 3 titles. Let's look at each of the five teams and project how they will do in the next decade.

Pittsburgh Steelers: They have been a constant title contender in the past two decades. Mike Wallace has the potential to be a great receiver and the defense will always be there. With the style Roethlisberger plays, I always fear for injuries but I believe he can play another 6 or 7 great years.

San Francisco 49ers: Dreadful for years but hopes to make waves with new coach Jim Harbaugh. They drafted Kaepernick who I really like as a QB and Gore is a beast on the offensive side just like Willis on the defensive side. If Crabtree can get his act together, I can see them contending for a Super Bowl title in five years.

Dallas Cowboys: Miles Austin emerged last year so we will have to see if he can continue the success. Romo has a lot to prove after missing most of the season last year and Jason Garrett seemed to get more out of the players than Wade Phillips could. You know Jerry Jones will have his hands around the team and their division isn't as strong as it once was.

Green Bay Packers: Rodgers is getting better and better every year and they won last year with a ton of guys on injured reserve. Finley and Grant are coming back although I'm not sold on Grant so expect Aaron to have a huge year throwing the football. McNabb going to Minnesota and a rising Detroit squad may make winning the conference let alone the division harder than one might think. Having Clay Matthews doesn't hurt, either.

New England Patriots: Even though they haven't a won a playoff game since the 2008 AFC Championship, you can never count them out. With the additions of Ochocinco and Haynesworth, the Patriots look to win now with the Jets looming. Brady will be 34 tomorrow and I think he has three or four good years left. The only questions I have will be if Belichick can continue his historic success after Brady provided he doesn't leave when Brady leaves? The Patriots are well-run and I have no doubt that they won't fall off like other great franchises have.

For the next ten years, I can see Pittsburgh and Green Bay winning two titles a piece and the Patriots winning one because you never know who will come up and win out of the other teams. The window hasn't closed on the Colts yet and the Saints have Drew Brees and a plethora of wide receivers. I can see Dallas getting one and I'm a little iffy on the 49ers. Just think about this: The Packers and Steelers went twenty-five years without winning a Super Bowl. Maybe the same fate will happen to San Francisco as well.

So that means Pittsburgh will still have the most Super Bowl titles with 8, Green Bay and Dallas tied with 6, San Francisco remaining at 5, and New England with 4.

After ten years, who will end up with the most Super Bowl championships?

It's a fairly easy question if you think about it. The only team to win more then two Super Bowls in this past 10 years is the Patriots so there's usually a variety of winners. The answer here is the Steelers simply because they have a two SB lead over their toughest competition.

The 49ers and Cowboys are just one away and they have new coaches and new directions but they still aren't that close to SB caliber teams right now. 10 years is a long time and both could win one or two SB's but currently there isn't enough information to support that. New England has about 5 years of Brady and they could definitely win a couple more but that would only put them at 5.

The Packers are the Steelers toughest competition but absolute best case scenario is they win 3 more and have a major dynasty. Even if that happens I could see the Steelers easily winning one more in that time period because of the youth they have, especially offensively.

Basically I could maybe see a 7-7 tie between the Packers and Steelers after 10 years but more then likely Pitt will still have the top spot by themselves.

Being the greatest Cowboys Fan in the world I think I am required by Texas law to say that we will win 10 more superbowls by SB55.

Honestly I see the Packers/Steelers/Cowboys all in the running for 10 when that time comes.... It could be Dallas 8 Pit 8 Pack 6 or Pit 7 Dal 10 Pit 5 but if I had to say for a definitive answer... My Dallas Cowboys with 7,8 or even 9 Rings when dust settles

Even as a Steelers fan, I can look at this from an objective standpoint. And my answer would still be the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ill break down the teams from least chance to best in my eyes.

San Francisco: They will continue to be a shaky team as long as Alex Smith is at QB. Kaepernick is an interesting prospect, but he's certainly not a sure thing. He's at least 2-3 years away, if he progresses well, from being a competant starter. Frank Gore is 28, and when healthy, is elite. But the man is a walking injury and has had surgery on literally on almost every body part , so one has to think his days as an elite back are close to over. Their pair of starting WR's are both "Ill give effort when I feel like it" guys in Crabtree and Edwards. I love Patrick Willis and the Niner's run defense as much as the next guy, but they can't defend the pass, or rush the passer, with consistency. They're a middle of the pack defense. I don't see them winning another title in the next 10 years unless Kaepernick becomes elite, and they find a replacement for Gore, and significant shore up their secondary. There are alot of holes here to patch. I dont see them winning any in the next 10 years, keeping them at 5.

New England Patriots: My guess is that we'll be seeing a New England/Green Bay or New England/Philly Super Bowl this year. Even if the Patriots win one this year, and repeat next year, that leaves them at 5. As good as they are in the regular season, they've choked in the playoffs against lesser teams many a time within the past 5 years. I like the additions to the roster, and as long as Brady is elite and their defense continues to be a top 10 squad(which they are), there's always a shot. But in a league like the NFL that has great parity, they'ld have to win 4 in 10 years to be the top squad, and I dont see that happening. Im guessing they win 2 in that time, leaving them at 5.

Dallas Cowboys: I actually believe that their division is more difficult then it has been in some time. Philly has so much depth and youth at key positions, the Giants have a good backfield tandem and 2 potential superstar WR's, and the Skins suck. Dez Bryant could be a possible star if he keeps his nose clean, and Miles Austin will likely be a perrenial top 10 receiver for the next 5-7 years. But they have little in terms of an effective running game, as Felix Jones was effective catching the ball out of the backfield, and but not so much as a runner. Tashard Choice isn't a game changer and DeMarco Murray is a rookie who does everything well, but doesnt excel at anything. The defense, outside of DeMarco Ware, was very middling last year, and even with Rob Ryan brought in, I dont expect that to change an incredible amount. I could see the Cowboys winning 1 SB in the next ten years, leaving them at 6.

2. Green Bay- A very close second. I became an even bigger believer when my second favorite team in GB torched my favorite team in the Steelers and their vaunted defense in the SB. The Packers have a great bit of uncertainty at RB, with Jackson being a bust after Grant went down, and James Starks only showing limited playing time, albeit successful when he got the chance. Still, a team with Rodgers, Jennings, Finley, and cast has a chance to outslug any team, anytime. They're a top five defense as well, so there are few holes here. Rodgers can be a health concern because he takes so many sacks, and the running game is in flux, although the combination of Grant/Starks could be an effective one. If any team can challenge Pittsburgh, it's Green Bay. I see them winning two, an outside chance of 3 within the next ten years, so we'll say 6 for GB.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers: This team has the chance to be very good to great for the next 10 years. Roethlisberger had his best season overall last year upon returning from suspension, and the Steelers have 3 young, exciting WR's, with Mike Wallace having the chance to be a game-changer and elite WR. Rashard Mendenhall is already in the upper tier of RB's, and if the Steelers OL improved, he could truly be elite. The OL is a concern, but the Steelers always manage to make plays and sustain drives regardless of the OL situation. The LB is tremendous, the best in the league, and the depth on the line is outstanding. They have the best safety in the league in Troy Polamalu provided he stays healthy, and Ryan Clark is a hard hitting, solid safety opposite him. The only real concern is when teams spread the Steelers out. The Steelers have a good CB in Ike Taylor, and some exciting rookies, but right now, their OL and their CB's are their biggest weaknesses. Still, if they hit on an OL in the draft, and another CB, this could be a dominant team. Ill be cautious and say 1 win for the Steelers, putting them at 7.

So there you have it. If my math is right, I have the tally in ten years being as follows:

1. Pittsburgh- 7 SB's.(1 SB.)
2. Green Bay- 6 SB's.(2 SB's)
2b: Dallas- 6 SB's.(1 SB)
4. New England- 5 SB's.(2 SB's)

There will be other teams challenging for, and winning the SB in the next 10 years. New Orleans will be in the mix, as will Indy. The Jets could win one, as could Philly. There are several other teams, but these are the most likely candidates. And when ten years are over, it will either be 7-7 Pitt/GB, or 7 for Pittsburgh, and 6 for GB. Im going to go with the latter scenario and say Pittsburgh comes out on top by 1.m
4b San Francisco: 5 SB's. ( 0 SB's)

Yeah, I agree with much of what's been said here - this is a two team race between the Steelers and Packers. The reason is the ownership / GM situations and fan support. The Packers are the only professional American sports franchise owned by the fans in the structure of a corporation, and the Rooney family who owns the Steelers are the best owners in all of American sports. They both build through the draft and don't overspend. Despite the fact that neither team plays in a "major market," both have franchise values that transcend the markets and still allows them to attract free agents.

Dallas is owned by Jerry Jones, who often can't let his own ego get out of the way of what is best for the team. The Niners success was largely relegated to just one time period in the 80's and early 90's thanks mainly to three players - Montana, Rice, and Young. The chances of them getting another massively successful hall of famer like they've gotten isn't easy. The Patriots are going to suffer a slight downturn, though I think like the Packers they will draft young QB's to prepare for the end of the Brady era.

I am shocked the NY Giants haven't been mentioned. They, along with the Patriots, have 3 titles, and an ownership group in the Mara family just as stable as the Kraft family. They also have an intelligent and empassioned fan base. I don't think this will be a good year for them, but they may well be good for one more title in the next 10 years. Still outside the accomplishments of the other teams, but worthy of a mention.
