When Michael Scott leaves, please put The Office to rest

It's no secret that this season is Steve Carrell's last year as Michael Scott in The Office. Sadly, I can see NBC trying desperately to keep it afloat, even though the guy who makes the show watchable is departing.

I was a huge fan of the early years, but lately the show has been a train wreck in the making. The relationship between Pam and Jim makes the show almost unwatchable and the other characters are caricatures of their former selves.

I have heard everything from Dwight being the new guy in charge to Paul Rubens taking over (which I might actually enjoy). But no matter what, this show is going to go downhill faster than it already has been

Michael is just as bad as anything on the show. Should have tossed him permanently for Idris Elba a couple seasons back. According to Stringer Bell, he's extra large.

They ruined the show with Jim and Pam, so it's only natural that Jim takes over for Michael, making the show even more boring and calling it "The Jim and Pam Show"... which is basically what it already is in the first place.
