SmackDown! is MY Show
Honestly, I could see TNA having one ménage-à-trois storyline going on, but to have two going on at the same time is a bit much I must say. I know for awhile TNA was thinking of having one with Storm/Young/Jackie, but luckily for all of us they did not. So right now, we are stuck with the Kurt/Karen/AJ and Sonjay/Lethal/Val ménage-à-trois and both seem to going no where though we could be at the climax of each storyline, but again this is TNA and storylines run for months on end.

I think if TNA was smart, they would have one of these storylines going on at a time, but instead they want to run two at the same. Granted they have been somewhat interesting, least to me anyways, but why is there a need for a main event ménage-à-trois and lower card ménage-à-trois ? I just dont get it. I understand they want to do something with all the knockouts they have, but couldnt TNA have come up with something different and not over do it all at once? I think ménage-à-trois are interesting, but TNA is just over doing with the Kurt/Karen/AJ and Sonjay/Lethal/Val ones.

Anyone feel the same or have a reason for all the ménage-à-trois in TNA lately?

Well Ive hated the Kurt/Karen/AJ feud since it started, and TNA, sadly are still running with this crap.
The only thing that made it bearable was the idea of seeing Kurt vs AJ in the ring.

And Jay/Val/Sonjay, is in essence exactly the same story, and the only reason I dont scream at the sight of those 3 at the moment is the knowledge that a Jay vs Sonjay match would be fucking amazing even if the last one was a tad anticlimatic.

You just answered the question yourself. You think it's too much to have two angles that are relatively the same, but you then say that you don't mind them.

I think the dynamics of both storylines are the same, but the characters involved make the storylines different. Also, with two hours a week, you want to give the roster opportunities to appear on TV. How often to you see some of the mid-carders? For example, how many wrestlers from the World X Cup were on tv this week? None. How about next week? None again... there's only so much time to work with, so they try to squeeze in as many people as possible, without harming the overall pacing of the entire show. (It's been a lot better lately with two hours, but it can be improved somewhat.)
