Brilliant Idiot
Only two fights come to mind for me.
1. Oscar de La Hoya Vs. Felix Trinidad. I don't care if he ran. I don't care if it wasn't manly. He won 7 to 8 of the 9 rounds in that fight, then coasted for three. At the end of the day, barring a knockdown or HUGE rounds for Trinidad, Oscar wins that fight. It was such a big fight and it was a horrible decision.
One of the judges gave the 12th round when he didn't throw a punch. Just to make up for the shitty judging in the previous rounds. Ridiculous.
2. Meldrick Taylor Vs. Julio Cesar Chavez. I think it should be considered a no decision. Too close to call and I can't say that either man deserved to lose. Considering the paths both men took after the fight, it's hard to call either the better man in a certain sense.
