This is more or less an extension of the "If you could run WWE" thread because a lot of people's complaints revolved around the brand split, whether it was the way it was executed or because it exists at all.

The first thing I would do is put the entire women's division on Raw and the entire tag team division on Smackdown. I don't feel that either division is deep enough to justify having 2 separate championships. And I think if the entire women's division were on Raw, they'd feel a little more obligated to throw a women's tag team championship on the card once in a while. Those titles have been completely swept under the rug since WrestleMania.

Their have been a lot of thread similar to this one popping up in the last few days but it's always fun to reply to those so i will do it for this one as well

First This would be a Three brand WWE instead of two.

1. Raw:
Titles defended
Universal
U.S
Tag team
24/7

2. Smackdown
titles defended

WWE
Intercontinental
Women
women'S tag team

3. NXT

NXT title
North American
Tag title
cruiserweight

So my plan for the brand split would be to have all three brand on the same level. NXT doesn't have they stand alone event anymore and are part of the WWE PPV calendar. You would have 6 triple brand PPV and each brand get 2 stand alone PPV

The main guy on raw would be Rollins and Styles for the babyface and Mcintyre and Corbin on the heel side

Raw would get the tag division and the 24/7 division since they have more time to do stuff like that on Raw.

Smackdown top guys would be, Reigns and Strowman for the face and Orton and Bryan for the heel. They would also gain Lesnar as a part time attraction on smackdown since they are on network tv and Lesnar is a mega star.

They would also get the women's division as a whole so that mean the women'S single and tag division would be smackdown exclusive.

NXT top guys would be Johnny Gargano and Ricochet for the face and Tommasso Ciampa and Adam cole for the heel

They would also gain the cruiserweight title since i would merge 205 live with NXT.
The show would past from 1 hour to 2 hour per week and i would have one air live and the other be a tape episode.

So as far as the rest of the rosters goes. Raw would get more guys mostly because of the length of the show compared to the other 2 and i would put most of the indy guys on NXT at first since that's the brand that attract a different style of crowd.

Also no more wildcard rule and no more going back and fouth between brand as far as champions are concern. So the 24/7 title stays on Raw, you can do Youtube clips during the week for that title but it as to involve wrestlers from raw.

Finally. i would have a c level show for all three brand where you will have mostly squash matches like the old days of WWE. Raw would have Main event, Smackdown would get superstars and NXT would get a show as well.

On the day after mania, i would do a actually draft to shake things up and move around some wrestlers around. maybe even considered switch some of the division around and by that i mean maybe send the tag division to smakdown and the women's division on raw.

It seems like they dug themselves in a hole with the brand split and now it’s a convoluted mess. It seemed like it worked out ok for the first year but now it’s back to square one with too many titles and people jumping back and fourth with the “Wild Card” rule. They seem to be investing more time in the 24-7 Title then they are with the US, IC, Raw Tag, Smackdown Tag Titles which are all irrelevant at this point. They need to scrap the Brand Split get rid of some titles and make some roster cuts since the majority mid card is getting buried anyway. I might sound like a broken record but they need to get also 3rd hour of Raw or else ratings are going to continue plummeting.

Current brand split is effectively dead. Both shows / rosters are becoming one as the weeks go by. Experiment failed... again.

As for what I'd like to see in a brand split? Consistency! I'd like to see Vince / creative operate the brand split (and the shows in general) based on what's best for the business, not what's best for the current network/advertising deal on the burner. I've got to believe that this is where the "wild card rule" was birthed from and it has been all downhill from there. Said rule doesn't even seem to be referenced on TV anymore and it surely isn't capped at 4 superstars per weekly "leap."
