Getting Noticed By Management
On Monday Night Raw, Heyman and Lesnar announced that Lesnar will be the next in line for a WWEWHC match. Obviously, the match won't happen in any Raw or Smackdown, so there are two choices:
-Elimination Chamber
-Wrestlemania 30.
I have no idea where this will take place. The logic says Wrestlemania, but there are a lot of rumors going around that we will get Taker vs Lesnar, so it might happen at EC. Here is the problem though; who does Lesnar face?
At Royal Rumble, Cena invokes his rematch clause against Orton. Cena is the face, Orton is the heel, but Lesnar is also a heel-ish character, since he assosciates with Heyman. This kinda makes it hard for it to be Orton vs Lesnar, since I can't see Heyman/Lesnar turning faces. After all, Heyman shook hands with HHH, which means that they kinda tend to have put their differences aside and be able to co-exist peacefully. Turning Orton face would be a bad idea either, for a couple of reasons. He turned heel like 4 months ago, so it would look stupid for him to be a face again. Additionally, Orton's best moments have been during being a heel, so, storyline and quality-wise, it would also be stupid if he turned face.
Recently though, Vince stated something among the lines of "we don't care a lot about who is a face and who is a heel anymore" (correct me if I'm wrong). This technically means that we would see a heel vs heel fight in Orton vs Lesnar for the titles. It kinda seems farfetched, but it is a possibility.
On the other hand, I can't see Cena winning the championships. First of all, although he has a rematch clause, I disagree with him being given the chance. He didn't lose the WWEWHC to get a rematch for it, he just lost one half of that, the WHC. After all, I think that in one of his promos, he said that if he loses, he doesn't deserve another opportunity blah blah blah, because this is the biggest match blah blah blah. So, I didn't like the idea of the rematch, BUT since it is there, I can't see Cena winning. I mean, if that was the case, why not have him win at TLC or something? They seem to want to go with Orton with this, so the end result is kinda obvious.
Also, we have seen Cena vs Lesnar before and since Lesnar winning the belt is highly unlikely to happen, it would be stupid for WWE to have Cena go over Lesnar twice.
The entire scene is really complicated to the point where you can't predict what's gonna happen. Sure, from one standpoint, this is good, but it just doesn't fit right for me at this point because the only people assosciated with the so-called biggest championship at the moment are Cena, Lesnar and of course the champion Orton. Where is Punk? Where is Bryan? What role will Batista play? Where will Undertaker find his next challenger?
Unpredictability is good, but I think that not even the creative knows where they wanna go with their stories at the moment. They might have a big surprise/twist for us somewhere, but right now, it all seems blurry.
