Dark Match Winner
With TNA's biggest event just 3 months away, I am curious to see which one is the favorite here in Wrestlezone.

Considering I haven't watched TNA consistently for years, my options aren't very broad, and I feel inclined to vote for Bound for Glory 2010 only because it was one of the few times TNA was able to peak my interest.

The build-up to Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss was excellent, and the match played to both of their strengths. The return of ECW was refreshing, though TNA has milked the whole "ECW returns to fight off the bad guys" shtick dry. And then there was the main event... the match wasn't bad, but the absolute clusterfuck of a storyline after it was... well, let's leave it at that. It was after that storylines that I stopped watching TNA consistently.

Personally I feel Slammiversary surpassed Bound for Glory a long time ago as TNA's flagship PPV. But honestly, I can't pick one. None of the Bound for Glory shows really stand out to me. Too many of them ended with Sting winning the TNA World Championship, year after year after year...after year after year after year after year. I always found it to be a mediocre event.

I say without a doubt 2012, which I also consider to be the best year in TNA! Here you had the fantastic three way tag match (albeit the wrong winners) the Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries match (again... wrong winner) but the two standouts in it for me were the Bully and Sting vs Aces and Eights match. This match I really enjoyed from a story perspective and the crowd loved it too, that moment when Park gets free of the handcuffs sent a chill down my spine! And not to mention that Devon reveal... yeah you can shit on Aces & Eights now but I loved how it was done and hell it shocked me!

The other standout was Storm vs Roode, this was a superb match that ended the defining feud of 2012 TNA IMO with two former friends beating the shit out of each other, loved it!

Honestly I can't remember all of them and every match (might watch them again) but I remember 2010 having a good match between the Motor City Machine Guns and Generation Me and the main event being good (they cocked up afterward but it was still a great heel turn for Jeff Hardy)

Probably 2005 as I've seen a lot of people say but I've never watched it.

For me it's 2006. It's the only BFG where I felt Bound For Glory was truly a big event that year, likely because it was out of the Impact Zone and Kurt Angle was debuting. The X-Division, 8 Mile Street Fight, and Steel Cage matches were all awesome. Joe could've been used in a much bigger match, he was their hottest wrestler at the time, but the brawl with Angle was pretty exciting. Sting winning the belt for the first time (in TNA) felt like a good moment.

The rest I either don't remember or haven't watched.

2010. Great matches. TNA's most hyped event ever. Its best visual presentation. The largest attendance in the show history. More star power than other years. Its hard to contest it as other BFGs didn't have anywhere near the level of big time feel this one did.

As I should've mentioned before, my favorite BFG is 2009 for the following reasons :

AJ Styles ending the BFG Streak of Sting.
Abyss vs. Mick Foley in a Monster's Ball match.
The end of the Main Event Mafia.
The rest of the card was good.

This is been open a month and has 9 votes. Can't you get the hint?

I'm torn between 2010 and 2005 but I gotta go with 2005. You can't go wrong with Styles vs. Daniels in an Iron Man match.

My favourite was Bound For Glory (2006).
Here are the results from the event:

1. Kevin Nash invitational X-division battle royale- won by Austin Starr
2. Team 3D def. AMW, James Gang, and The Naturals
3. Samoa Joe def. Abyss (Monsters' Ball)
4. Eric Young def. Larry Zbyszko (Loser gets fired)
5. Chris Sabin def. Senshi (c) (NWA X-Division Title)
6. Christian Cage def. Rhino (Street Fight)
7. LAX def. Styles & Daniels (c) (NWA Tag Team Titles)
8. Sting def. Jeff Jarrett (c) (Title vs Career match) (NWA Heavyweight Title)

A solid card from Top to Bottom, with almost all the matches getting proper stories that culminated at the event. This was TNA with its best utilization of resources they had.
A fun fact- this was the only TNA event where all the active titles changed hands in one show!

That was worth the month long poll. Thanks. I hope you do another one with other TNA PPVs.

The problem with this poll was that it was a trick question... There was no such thing as a best BFG. They're all #LOLTNA horrible.
