Don't know if anyone remembers this guy. He was an XFL QB, and then went on to have a pretty good run with the Steelers.

I haven't seen him in a while. Anyone knows what happened to him?

Well to answer your question

In September 2006, he tried out for the Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders and the New England Patriots, but did not sign a contract. Maddox did sign a contract with the Philadelphia Soul. However he was eventually waived by the club. Retirement

Soon after being waived by the Philadelphia Soul, Maddox retired from playing professional football.

Post-football career

Maddox is an avid golfer, and he is the founder of the Tommy Maddox Foundation for disadvantaged children.

Maddox currently wishes to become a football coach, and is currently spectating TCU football practices. However, he is not allowed to be hands on or coach himself due to NCAA restrictions on the number of coaches a team can have.

btw I got that from Wiki, so yeah...how reliable it is I have no idea

Thought he was an insurance salesman. That must've been before the XFL. He was good for like a year or 2. We never got anywhere in the playoffs with him though.

He was an insurance salesman before the XFL...I never had a problem with him though. The Steelers couldn't protect him which lead to his injury, lost his job to Ben then the rest is history...

He threw for like 900 yards when we tied the Falcons. Pretty sure he was the QB for the Browns playoff game as well, which was epic. We would've went far if it wasn't for a stupid roughing the kicker against the Titans.

Wow he got waived by the Philadelphia Soul.......ouch.No wonder why he retired from football.

He was the Qb when we came from behind to beat Cleveland. Who was that Dback who ran into Nedney? Was it Scott? Well he didn't run into him Nedney played dead..

The Steelers are doing Just fine with Ben, though we coulda kept him as a back up for awhile, eh?

Yes it was, and although the Dolphins would've had to have a miracle happen for them to get it into the playoffs, they still managed to choke away yet another game.

I'm also not going to use the 2 injured QBs as an excuse because they managed to get back into the game after that, and still blew it.

That was a scary moment. When they showed the replay of how hard he got hit, and how he was motionless afterwards, all I could say was "holy shit!"
